My boyfriend recommended wighams driving school after he passed on his first attempt with David Eblet. I got in touch with David and he started lessons for me straight away in August. He was a lot calmer than my previous instructor and explained things in a way you can understand easily and he gradually built my confidence back up. I booked my test at the end of September and passed first time with only 1 minor. I also just completed a pass plus course with David Eblet as well which was just as pleasant and enjoyable as the lessons. I would definitely recommend wighams and David Eblet as a driving instructor :)

After cancelling 2 lessons in a row, "Ad" showed up late to the next lesson and his teaching style…read morewas unenthusiastic and not understanding of a nervous driver - it felt like you were just a problem in his day, not someone he actually wants to help. He gets noticeably frustrated if you make a mistake which put me on edge and made me more nervous. His go to line of "If you just follow the instructions, that won't happen again, will it?" probably tells the story. Don't be tricked in because of the greatly priced packages that are offered. Avoid like the plague.
