My son has been attending FAIRVIEW stables for the past two years, he is now six. He is doing great I cannot rate the staff enough. They are all excellent and very friendly. The organised event days that they do throughout the year are great and everyone is welcome. Even the younger staff are great and everyone is willing to help. I now have a 1 year old and I know that I would be very happy for her to attend when she can. The horses are kept in excellent condition and are very well looked after. I have also attend lessons, after 20 years of not being on a horse and they were great any apprehensions I had all went away as they talked about my ability and they reacted on that. I have been riding at Fairview for about 2/3 years now, I have regular lessons and its an amazing riding school, I have learnt so much and I feel completely safe on any of thier horses. All thier instructors are amazing and they don't just teach you, they explain things to you to make sure that you understand what you are doing and they listen to what you want to do and they fit their lessons around you. Its a beautiful place and all the people there are friendly and helpful, I love helping out there and being apart of the things Fairview do. I went for an hour lesson the other day, i had been riding before but sadly had to move away. So when i got on the horse the instuctor told me to go over a jump. They had previously told me that the horse i was on was very calm, however she was not she tried to canter off when i asked her to walk. Anyway i told the instuctor i didnt feel like jumping on the horse and she told me to 'get over it and stop whining, it's only a little jump'. I was shocked. If your thinking of coming for a riding lesson, and you dont mind being shouted at or made to feel small, then here is the perfect place. If not i'd think of going else where. read more

I have been riding at Fairview now for in excess of 10 years, having regular lessons and taking part in the dressage and jumping competitions. Sadly, due to bad experiences with other riding schools, when I first started attending Fairview I was an extremely nervous rider. However, due to the fantastic staff at Fairview and their sheer patience and understanding I now consider myself to be a competent rider. I have always and only ever found the owners and staff of Fairview to be extremely polite and understanding. I really cannot recommend Fairview any higher, it's a brilliant place to attend and have lots of fun!! read more
