He provides service by mail order and over the internet now, having closed his retail location a few years ago. He is always available to trouble-shoot your system online, and I would recommend him in a heartbeat. The negative review puzzles me, as I've never had any bad service from him. It must be one of those cranky customers who can't be satisfied. I spent several unhappy years in retail dealing with people like that.

I'm new to the Snellville area and it's just past 6:00PM on a Friday; my computer is locked up so I had to turn to my Yelp App on the I-Phone to find the closest computer repair places near me that are open longer than 5:00PM. Next Level Computers was it (they're open till 7:00PM) and after talking with Dave, I unplugged my NEW tower and rushed to get to their door (walked in just past 6:30PM). Dave met me immediately and proceeded to plug my tower in to see what he could see. Of course the thing wouldn't let him do anything as well, so he proceeded to give me instructions on their procedures to hopefully fix the thing. Dave thoroughly explained the levels and costs involved to repair and backup my computer, and after more discussion, I left my new computer in their hands with a promise to have it ready the next day (barring that they would find any equipment or deep down program damage). Lucky for me there was no hardware damage and the virus infection we thought was the problem turned out to be malicious software intrusion; this saved me $30.00 over the initial estimate to fix and backup my computer for which Dave explained and discounted prior to my showing up the next day to get my computer. Overall, I am happy with Next Level Computers work and am very happy that they could fix my computer at a lowered estimated cost. They did what they said they would, contacted me for pick-up, and had it ready the next day! Great service and so far no issues with my computer!

I recently did business with Compusave and I had both positive and negative experiences. I think my…read moreexperience was mostly positive but I will first list my "grievances." 1. The business hours are never stable. The owner might or might not be there and you have to constantly call to make sure he will be there when you are. 2. When I first dropped of my laptop for servicing, it presented a "blue screen" which still allowed you *some* operation. When I got it back, I did not even have a blue screen. It was all black and nothing shows up anymore. 3. When I was able to pick up my computer, my file sheet stated that I had refused further repair to my laptop. This was surprising since the owner himself told me there was nothing more he could do (it will take a clean room with engineers to fix my harddrive), so I don't know what "further repair" he was talking about. 4. At first it sounded as if only my harddrive had a problem. When I picked up my computer, it turned out that there was an issue with my laptop's motherboard. This was never told to me in our many phone conversations prior to me picking up my laptop. Also, the owner changed his mind a couple of times whether my files could be saved or not. It was a confusing process. 5. Twice during phone conversations the owner mixed up my laptop's problems/ information, which I fear might have affected his attempts at repair. 6. During the process, the owner asked me if I had needed a password to access my laptop's desktop interface (you know, the password you have to type in when your computer starts). He told me that since I had had this password, the process of saving files from my harddrive would be more complicated. I consulted with other computer technicians who told me this was not the case. Password or no password, if the harddrive was working I should normally be able to access the files. 7. Finally, and I understand this is really a subjective matter, the owner was standoffish at times. Otherwise, he was a perfectly nice guy. Pros 1. Good price 2. He's obviously been doing this for a long time. 3. He really did try to fix my harddrive. 4. Always picked up the phone, very easy to reach. 5. He was extremely patient with me not being able to pick up my stuff from his shop for some weeks. Lesson: I would probably use his services again but next time I will make sure to create and maintain clearer communication.

Final note, as a new homeowner for the first time I was nervous about possible damage to the dry wall, plumbing and electricity.
