I walked in, said I wanted to just browse, and was immediately given a 20 minute tour of their huge warehouse space. What you see out front is just the front door. I spent quite a while looking thru everything and then bought the slabs in my picture. All 2+ feet high and 2+ inches thick. All of that for $220 with their weekend sale. I really like that everything they sell is truly reclaimed wood, mostly from fallen trees or areas where trees are being removed and would then be otherwise thrown out or burned. My haul from left to right: - Black Walnut - Ash - 2 White Oak from the same cut so I can somehow book match them - Sycamore (need to read more about this) - And a Red Oak cutoff they threw in for free. This is from the Monocacy Civil War Battlefield. Some trees were being cleared and were ready to be thrown away!!! Really unique. Will definitely be returning!!!

We do a lot of gardening, and while I expected them to be able to calculate the amount of soil we needed based on the measurements of the space we wanted to fill, I did not expect them to ask what we intended to grow so they could bring a blend of soil blended just for that. The deliveries have always been very smooth, and they have made sure to place it exactly where we wanted every time, and the drivers even hang out to consult on other projects when we have questions. And the guy working there (Rob? haha not sure!) was incredibly friendly and by far the most helpful person in my long and ridiculous quest (which would have otherwise been a wild goose chase!) for a single bolt! We also recently discovered Second Chance, which we thought was awesome. So, we were excited when we found out about this place. The amount of wood that they had was amazing! It was a fantastic assortment of different quality kinds of wood, at very reasonable prices! They have a great selection of items that you might need for your home, whether you are remodeling, or just looking to add a few new pieces to your decor. I did not realize until I looked at their website that they have a $10 per year membership fee. However, for the quality of items you get at such amazing prices, it's definitely worth it to support a great non-profit.
