We knew all the tricks, but nothing worked worked! However, within 2 hrs of Mike coming to our house we saw an IMMEDIATE change. While he's talking to you, he sees how the dogs are and knows how to help! He gives you A LOT of info, but gives you the resources you need to succeed. It's only been a few days, but already there has been a HUGE change with my dogs. He absolutely loves going, he comes home exhausted every time. One thing that is especially important to me is that he never comes back home sick, which gives me peace of mind sending him. That has happened with other daycares we've tried, and I've heard stories from other people that are terrifying, but nothing to worry about with DGS! We've even moved about 30 minutes away and we still will bring him there for boarding/daycare/grooming. Overall, this place is the best combination of fun, safety, and genuine care. I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else. A special shout out to Felicia, who goes above and beyond every single time. She trims his nails better than anyone else and is always so genuinely happy to see him. The feeling is definitely mutual! You can tell she truly cares about the dogs. I tell our trainers Katie and Nicole all of the time that they are life savers. We brought our puppy here at 1 years old - a small wild, energetic Jack Russell who knew every time I was on a video meeting to bark his head off and embarrass me EVERY TIME! Walks were out of the question since he would pull on the leash to the point he would choke himself... sitting on the deck was a nightmare in our own backyard because he would bark at the wind (yes, the wind), the leaves moving, the birds and obviously the neighbors. Does this sound familiar? I questioned my decision of getting a puppy and then I found Max K9. We did a 3 week Board & Train where I was super hesitant of dropping him off (because no one wants to leave their baby anywhere), but they were so good with sending video progress and pictures and including my husband and I in the process. I joke with everyone that I think they implanted a program into his brain! Lol! The transformation was unreal. We were instantly able to communicate with him and actually go on a walk.. outside in the real world. What a breath of fresh air, literally! Max K9 has given us the ability to live an active lifestyle and have our pup enjoy it with us. We were set up with our trainer, Jim, he educated us on how to handle Keiko properly (from basic obedience to different enrichment), build a better bridge of communication and help with his confidence. Our last session Keiko even decided he was going to try one of the obstacles from maximum K9's agility course (no prompting from us) shocking both me and my fiancé. Safe to say Keiko loves Maximum K9 as much as we do . Since our training we have been able to do so much more and get Keiko better involved in our activities (which we know he loves).
