The staff is friendly, courteous and most of all, my dog always has a great time with the other canines who are boarded there as well. I love that they have an outdoor fenced in play area where the pups have room to roam and are tired out by the end of the day. They offer overnight pet boarding as well as get doggy day care. . I'verded my dog at other places in the past where they're just kept in a cage all day except for a few short walks on a leash. So if you can't take your pooch on vacation with you, a highly suggest giving these folks a try. There prices are on par with everyone else but I think you get a little more for your money.......and best of all.....your best friend will thank you for it.

Art of k9 I can not…read moresay enough good things about Angelo and Art of K9. When we found him we were in a desperate situation. Our dog was totally out of control and having recently but our baby, we didn't know what to do. Angelo took our dog within a week and a half of contacting him and helped guide us along the way until we were able to drop him off. We committed our dog to the 8 week program, unsure of what to expect but hoping for the best. We knew this was a last resort. It's now been about 6 months since we have picked our dog up from the program and I can confidently say that it was the best decision we could have made for our family. Not only is he more controlled, he is actually a joy to be around and have around our child. He listens to commands and we find ourselves very rarely needing to correct bad behavior as it doesn't really happen. We went from having a dog who would never come when called, bark uncontrollably, destroy toys and furniture, to a dog who immediately goes to place on a cot when someone knocks on the door (without being prompted) and lets out a few alert barks and stops once i say enough. We no longer have to worry about aggression with our child. He is great about listening when we get him away from her and often will walk away from her on his own when before he would growl. Additionally Angelo has checked in to see how our dog is doing, if any issues have come up, and whenever he needs a training refresh we have been able to bring him back. The end of January my husbands mother passed away and we had to go to Boston for about 10 days. We boarded Sully with Dawg House and opted for their open boarding and he had a good time with the other dogs that were boarding there when he was there. Jess and Stan and their staff are great with the dogs. We are so glad we found Dawg House when we moved to this area and Sully is very happy about it too.

Since then, I refused to trust anyone local and spent years driving my dogs all the way into NYC just to get them groomed. While our city groomer was great, making that trip from Danbury was exhausting and expensive. ​I was nervous to switch, but I decided to give Corey & Grace at Wags Doggie Daycamp a try, and they completely exceeded my expectations. They were exceptionally gentle with my newest rescue, who has serious PTSD, and took extra care with my special needs pup by using a supportive harness so she didn't have to strain or stand on her hind legs unsupported. ​Seeing how patient, safe, and stress-free all three of my girls were was such a relief. While we appreciate that they took him to the vet, this incident has left us with concerns about the level of supervision and safety protocols in place. I encourage anyone considering boarding here to ask detailed questions about how dogs are monitored and how they prevent altercations. I hope the facility takes steps to prevent another family from going through this horrible experience. Our dog is now medicated to allow his ear which has a chunk missing!! to heel and must be monitored 24/7 as the ear bleeds at any movement.
