This is a good O2 store in Warrington's Golden Square Shopping Centre, after buying some…read moreaccessories online at O2's online store, which I find is the best place to shop for accessories as they always have some good promotional offers on, even genuine Apple merchandise, including the new cases and USB-C adapters, I needed to come into the store for help fitting the screen protector. The staff seemed friendly and were happy to fit the protector in no time, they didn't even ask for a receipt or proof of purchase or even mention the fact my network provider was EE (While I prefer EE as a network, the one thing O2 has over EE is accessories and they do have a good network of stores which this is an example of) The store is a little small but has everything you need, a few tables to talk about contracts and a small but nice selection of accessories here too. The store was pretty modern and followed the traditional O2 layout. 4* - Pretty good store, hopefully, we will start seeing 5G being promoted here soon as the map slowly grows. (Currently, only 3 and Vodafone offer 5G in Warrington)

GAME made headings in June regarding the fact as a company they are struggling with a potential…read morebuyout by Mike Ashley and Sports Direct - take a look at this branch in Warrington's Golden Square and it is pretty easy to tell why. As well as the issue with mobile phones - which I've explained in detail in the review for the Brighton store, this store as a HUGE selection of pre-owned goods to the point it becomes more like an exchange store, similar to CeX so the selection of new products seemed to be quite rare in the store - the products that were "new" were really expensive too - much more expensive than giants Amazon and other retailers - now considering Game is the major player in their industry with no other store which is similar surviving, you'd expect there to be some decent deals other than on the pre-owned games - are they seriously trying to go down the CeX model? The staff also seemed disinterested - there were two staff members working which was good however they might as well have not been there at all with staff just sat there on their phones and ignoring customers who come into the store. Dreadful selection and pricing of "new" games compared to any other high street or online retailers and staff who don't care - this store sadly sums up the decline of GAME throughout the years - and by the sound of things, they better get their act together quick. 1*

In the past I have taken defective software back and what a reception I got, totally unhelpful, no consideration for the customer they even went further, made snide comments and the manager even licked his tie and rubbed a game disc presumably to check if I had brought him back a pirated disc, and he could get the ink to run, he did this in my presence. Shocking service from totally unprofessional staff. The store seems ok until you have a problem with your purchase. There are plenty of good computer stores in Warrington, use them!

I visited this store today to set up my new i phone from my existing i phone as i had upgraded it…read more The first member of staff was clearly not interested in doing this for me and told me that I could do this at home. I know this ! I told him I was not confident enough to do this. He then found a security setting which he said he could not turn off and that he could not get past it. I clicked the off button so that he could go ahead. I then had to go away for an hour and return while it allowed him to access it. I did this. I then left it with them - I asked if they needed anything else from me they said they did not. I returned two hours later only to be told that they could not set it up as the hour they had to do had passed and they could not gain access to the phone. They had clearly chucked it in the back room while they got on with other things then realised that they had messed up. I wasted a whole afternoon on this - as a self employed person this is not good. I took it home and did it myself it took 45 minutes. The staff lie to you and do not have the skills needed to support you. Do not waste your time with this place.

The store does…read morestand out in the shopping center, in a good way because it is quite large, bright and the sign looks pretty cool, and of course makes the EE logo stand out. In a mall, where all your competitors are, In EE's case this is Vodafone, O2 and 3, you do need to stand out and EE have done this from the start. The store its-self seemed like your average decor, however they were no charging facilities inside, like at the Manchester Arndale branch, The staff members here seemed quite rude and ignorant, and just had me standing at the desk for a few minutes, he seemed to be with another customer, he was rushing back and forth the small space, but still he didn't say "I'm going to be a while yet. Can I help?" or even say "Hello. I'll be with you in a minute", I thought this to be quite rude to the point I even considered walking out after 2-4 minutes until a lady approached me. She didn't seem too knowledgeable when I tried to talk to her about the Power bar offer, and couldn't put a date on when it would be back, I have asked in multple stores for months, since it was recalled and been given a similar response which shows a lack of knowledge or training of staff on this issue, or they don't want to reveal anything yet due to the nature on why they were recalled in the first place. This store is quite nice and stands out in Warrington, but really it is just your average EE store, and although it isn't terrible, I still sadly can't warrant anything over 2 stars, with the main reason for the low rankings being the staff. Normally when I walk into a phone shop, I am greeted straight away, regardless of whether people are with a customer or not, and I didn't even get a Hello here!
