We purchased an Onyx Studio 8 from a different store but I didn't like that I had to keep it plugged in. We tried returning the speaker at this store and they said they can't do returns since it wasn't their store that sold the accessory. T-Mobile policy allows you to return accessories or devices at any authorized location within the 14 day grace period. We asked to talk to the store manager and the Mobile Expert told us that he won't come out because of just a return. It's not that the store couldn't do returns, it's because they are lazy and incompetent. The only time do their jobs unless someone is purchasing or switching over. It takes five minutes to do a return. These guys should be working as a store clerk or someone that sits behind a register scanning grocery items. AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COST. Go to a corporate location such as the one in the mall. By reading all the reviews, they don't even allow you to pick the plan you want. They only want to sell you the most expensive plan since it pays them the most in commission. read more

I thought that it was important for me to share my experience that I had this afternoon while eating lunch. I am not a customer of 2B Wireless or T-Mobile, I was a customer eating lunch at the Pita Jungle next to the T-Mobile store on Mill Avenue in Tempe. I was sitting on the patio of Pita Jungle and a disabled gentleman in a wheelchair was attempting to enter the T-Mobile store on Mill and he was greeted by an employee of the T-Mobile store. The employee was a white young man with a hipster haircut. He caught the gentleman before he could enter the store and spoke to the gentleman with his head hanging out of the doors. He told the gentleman that he could not come in the store because he was no longer welcome in his store. The employee told the gentleman that the last time that he visited the store "he had bled all over the store." I could not believe what I was hearing, the gentleman was elderly, in a wheelchair and it seemed as though his left arm was paralyzed in some fashion. I could imagine how this elderly man might be on some type of blood thinner that could cause an episode of bleeding all over the place but why would a human being do so with any kind of malice or indifference if they were aware of the fact that they were bleeding? The employee went further to say that the customer did not attempt to clean up his blood....the elderly gentleman is in a wheelchair and does not have use of his left arm so I could see how he could have some trouble holding a paper towel to a wound let alone bend over and clean anything off of the floor. I found the whole scene disturbing and disheartening. If you saw a human being bleeding somewhere whether you were an employee or not wouldn't you offer some type of assistance whether it be a paper towel to hold against the bleed or a bandage? I'm just writing this because I feel as though someone in upper management should be made aware of the behavior of the man who works at this T-Mobile store. As I don't feel as though he behaved in such a way that is hospitable to any human being or in a manner that showed any common sense of how to behave when a human being is bleeding. The disabled gentleman in the wheelchair might not have a lot of T-Mobile stores that he can actually go to since he may be restricted to a small community he actually has access to. If I were the elderly gentleman I would take my business elsewhere. read more

I had an issue with my phone not charging and I was pressed for time as well so I had to rush in. I was helped pretty much immediately after explaining my issue and handing over my phone they got to work and fixed in a very short time. The guy working was very nice and explained what I should expect if the part dies and is in need of a replacement so I'm aware for the future. Absolutely terrible customer service, as well as technical support. I came to this store in hopes that they could help me with some technical difficulties I was experiencing with my phone. The man at the counter looked as though he would rather be listening to the experimental screeches of Yoko Ono on repeat for days than to be standing behind that desk. Not to mention, he repeatedly kept checking his phone throughout our conversation, as if he were Detective Fox Mulder discovering that time had stopped, proving to Scully once and for all that aliens do, in fact, exist. Anyway, he tells me that the issue is the sim card, and that he will just replace it to fix all of the problems I have encountered. While replacing the sim card, Mr. Man-at-Tmobile began his attempt at removing the card with the grace of a newborn paraplegic. He couldn't quite grasp the sim card, plucking at the device like he were attempting to pick a penny up from a smooth surface just after biting all his nails down to nothing from, what I can only assume, his life-long fear of the aliens finally coming to take him away. After completing the arduous task at hand, he hands the phone back to me and just stares me down. Now either he has fallen madly in love with me through our short conversation, or he is attempting to communicate with me through the ESP he knows he has after is last encounter with the celestial beings. Assuming it's the latter, I ask if everything is good now. He replies with a "yep" and proceeds to walk to the other side of the counter. What a grasp of the English language, and now I wish the reasoning for the stare down was the former. I then go home believing that all my troubles were fine to find, lo and behold, the man had damaged my 32gb SD card that was in my phone. I'm going to go out on a limb and say it was destroyed whilst Graceful Fingers himself incorporated a pen into the extraction attempt. I called the store back to see if there is anything that could be done and, you're never going to believe this, they said no. To top it off, after I explained what happened to the man over the phone, he replied with "I find that odd...". Oh, you do? Oh sweet, thank you. I'm glad we are on the same page of what is and is not oddity. Needless to say, my trips to Mill Ave. will only consist of scouring the streets in hopelessness, trying to recall all of the moments, once stored on my SD card, now lost to the carelessness of Freddy Fast Fingers at the T-Mobile store. read more

I was very hesitant to visit this store do to the bad review. I am so thankful I did. I must say that the staff this morning was amazing. I had 4 people assisting me to find the best product for my needs. They were efficient, knowledgeable, very helpful and went above and beyond to make sure I was a satisfied customer. I decided that I wanted one of the new phones that T-mobile was advertising. I happened to be in Tempe at an event and by searching on Google I found this location to be the closet. I went into the store and I was greeted immediately with a friendly member of the store's team. I told him what I wanted and he took the time to explain to me the different features of the two models of the phone that I was interested in. One of the models was about 100 dollars more than the standard one, but he did not try to pressure me into buying the more expensive one. That alone was very impressive. The store's Manager, Austin, then walked over to make sure that we were getting taken care of properly. I had many questions for him before making such a large purchase to which he answered them all happily.. I have had to return to the store a couple of times since, by no fault of anyone at the store. Austin's level of customer service is amazing. He was attentive to my needs, extremely courteous, and provided great customer service. I live no where near this T-mobile location. The service was so above par that I chose to drive all the way there for my issues to be resolved. read more
