Kota and his coworkers helped and walked through all the details and was a great help. The second visit made me decide to drop GC. One of the complaints concerned military discount. Heather not only got it fixed but did the same for our previous trip. I hadn't mentioned it as I didn't know there was one, so it was all her doing the right thing. The rest of the concerns I'll just address by making sure Kota is there before I make the drive. Customer service has eroded to a large degree in recent years. Heather and Kota made a huge difference. Some people are helpful and care about their jobs. I am new to some instruments and it helps to have insightful input from those who play. Without customer service, I could get just the products online. If I can do this without help, I'd save myself the drive. As of this weekend, I am trying to figure out how to fit lessons in my schedule. If you had a negative experience, try again. It may help to give a second chance sometimes, so you don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. ;-)

I spoke to their guitar attack, and this guy had not a single clue about what I was talking about intonation adjusting Bridges. These are the basic things that you need to know when you work at a guitar store, I was appalled by this. Very strange and unsettling and unprofessional behavior from the two ladies that work there (not…read morethe optometrist) one was asked a simple question and gave a very complicated and round about answer. Instead of simply saying "I won't be able to tell you the exact price of the contacts until after your exam" she spoke for 10 minutes without eye contact. Also used derogatory language very loosely to her coworker who was incredibly rude to me and another customer. Gave me a dirty look when I returned the tablet to the front like I was told to do and said "she'll call you up when she's ready" but with a nasty tone, so I backed up from the counter and she said "sit down" and so I sat down and then was immediately called to stand back up. Just seemed like someone who wants to bully people for no reason. Then when speaking to another elderly customer without making eye-contact, the elderly customer didn't hear her so she literally shouted the question again with a nasty tone. Just shouldn't work in a customer facing role at all. Very uncomfortable. Won't be back. But it got the job done and had very open availability so whatever.

I asked what do I need to do-be said call them. (In my mind they should have courtesy called but i def wasnt in the arguing mood). He stated even if i called it was something that would not be fixed today so they couldnt see me today. As i was leaving the building the lady in the front asked me what the issue was. I explained to her and she said "well they are good at checking insurance so I know it has to be your carrier. I left , i called my carrier, they called the Bossier location and spoke with the man and advised I was covered and all he had to do was call to verify. I tested my luck and went to the Shreveport store same day. As soon as i walked in i was greeted with a smile. I explained my situation. The lady looked up my information and it was in the system. All of a sudden. Needless to say My exam was done , glasses ordered. Customer service at Bossier 0/10. Care, courtesy, concern 0/10. I wouldnt recommend anyone to EVER go to the bossier location
