We went it to get new iphone verified the 830 per phone. 2 days after we have to turn our phones in the receipt states we would only get 630 its a printer mistake they said when it should be 830. It'll adjust on your first bill. Called customer service told them what happened and nothing could arise from a fix. We are stuck with the bill unless we go in and hopefully they still have our phones to do a return. Which they can lie and say it's gone regardless. Very predatory practices. Whatever they comment under my review understand i already talked to customer service instead of going to the store and the store has bad communication and horrid leadership to allow this to happen while in earshot of the whole conversation. read more

I waited 20 minutes, as did at least two other customers who were present during my time in the store, because the store did not hire enough people to keep up with demand, and did not implement a practical triage plan to divide customers with simple questions vs. complex problems. About 15 minutes into that 20-minute wait, an employee finally began taking a sign-in list, to record who was waiting (but still not asking what we were there for). For some reason, she insisted on ignoring me, going directly from the woman who had arrived before me to the woman who arrived after me. It took three tries by me, and two tries by the woman who came after me, to persuade this employee to list me as second in line - which should have been obvious anyway, by the fact that we were standing in line. After the 20-minute wait, I asked a simple question about UltraMobile. I was under the impression that I could get an UltraMobile SIM card at T-Mobile. This impression was mistaken. I was not an expert in the relationships among companies using the T-Mobile network. It took maybe 30 seconds to answer this question. So the visit to the store was a waste of time. I recommend that the manager of this store smell the coffee and pay some attention to what customers in the store are actually experiencing. It seems like a nice place. Aside from that one employee's bizarre determination to ignore me, both of the employees seemed like generally decent, well-behaved individuals. But T-Mobile is not going to catch up with the virtual carriers in customer satisfaction if it can't fix its website and do a better job at customer service. read more

Whitney provided AWESOME service tonight! Great time to go to the store: 7:15 pm on a Monday night - no wait at all! Planned to buy a new phone on my visit - voicemail wasn't working at all and my service was spotty. HOWEVER, my new best friend Whitney told me that as an original Sprint customer, my access to the diminishing Sprint network might be the problem! Yay! So lickety split, Whitney my old Sprint SIM card out of the phone and the new Tmobile card was in and updating. Very simple, quick process! Whitney discussed new phone options just because I asked even though I clearly wasn't buying one tonight. He wasn't pushing anything at all. Super knowledgeable and friendly. When the time comes for me to replace my phone, I'll definitely be back to work with Whitney! read more

I came to this T-Mobile to return my old phone, after receiving my new phone in the mail. When I walked in, I thought the store was very neat , organized and clean. There were a few people in front of me, but I was put on a waiting list. So if you go in, and it's packed, they will put you on a waiting list, to keep the customers in order of their arrival. However, I only waited for about two minutes, before they called my name. I was assisted by Alejandro. I thought he was extremely helpful and courteous. He also had an upbeat vibe, like he enjoyed his job, which I appreciated. The team at this T-Mobile are really knowledgeable about the phones and other equipment. If you're concerned about whether they have a certain product, you can always call ahead to see if it's in stock to save on time and gas. Overall, I found my visit here to be very efficient. Switching to T-Mobile from AT&T has turned out to be the worst decision I've made recently. I was told by this location that my AT&T early termination fee would be paid if I switched over. Turns out they made a mistake in the store that shows I accepted some sort of other promotional offer therefore making me disqualified for the reimbursement. I went back into the store on 2 different occasions where I was assured the issue had been resolved, instructed to go back online and try to submit the final AT&T bill (where it would not work), and then to call customer service who would see the note on the account of the store's error and complete my submission for reimbursement. When I followed this instruction, and called in to customer service, the "note" simply said that I came into the store inquiring about the reimbursement. No note as to the store's error. Unbelievable! Every time I went into this location I was given a different answer. It seems they need some better training or more knowledgeable staff about their promotions and the proper process for following through on these promises. Now customer service has me submitting the reimbursement from scratch all over again on a paper form, which could take up to 2 more months to resolve. When I asked for a transfer to a manager or complaint resolution department I was told there isn't one, then transferred back to the main menu!! Then, as if it isn't already bad enough. A few weeks ago I get a letter in the mail from Experian Credit Agency indicating that T-Mobile mishandled my personal information while using it to validate me for an account with them, and they are now investigating them to identify what occurred and giving me free credit protection for 2 years because of the issue. Bottom line, stay away from this store and from this company! This store's staff was not knowledgeable on their own promotion and the process to follow through on it, the customer service people seem to be in the same boat and will just dump you off without solving the problem, and frankly the network/signal sucks most places I go outside of a major city. The little bit of money saved after switching from AT&T was not even close to worth the headache it caused. I will be switching back to AT&T as soon as financially possible. I'd rather pay double for their service than put up with this. read more

I can second Jon M's review. Changing from Verizon to TMobile was a terrible decision. I have a plan with 2 phones. Both phones drop calls all the time or get no signal. If I can keep a connection for longer than a minute, the caller on the other line cuts in and out rapidly and they sound like a robot. But that is T-Mobile, not the store. They promoted a deal where if I switched they would cover any fees I would incur on the phone lines up to a limit. The caveat was you needed to turn in the phone from your existing carrier. I switched, a painful 3 hour ordeal in the store where Darryl bumbled around and had to redo the order about 5 times. Once I knew the service would not work for me, I informed the store and asked about my old equipment. I was told it was no problem, there was 14 days buyer's remorse. About 4 days later when I can get the energy to go back in to the store, I find out that Darryl has shipped my old phones away and I can not get them back. Even worse, if I cancel and switch back, they will not cover any of the fees that I incurred for leaving Verizon. So my 14 day buyer's remorse turned into a $1000+ trial. Darryl had no answer. His manager came up with ways that I could spend even more money which made zero sense. I called customer service and they said it is out of their hands and it is a store issue. They got me in touch with Patrick at the store who told me to go buy a prepaid phone and use that for awhile then hung up on me. What a terrible decision to walk into the store. If you want to try your luck with T-mobile service I highly recommend using their website or calling them as the people in the store are a joke. read more

Shockingly unprofessional customer service !!! Rude liars !!! I came into this Blanco Rd. & 1604 store a week ago for a second time to request a $15 refund for a SIMM chip that I was told I needed for a mobile device. It was not available at that time. When the product arrived it came with its own SIMM chip. I had been sold a item that I did not need. The sales staff should have known what I needed and did not need to purchase. I visited this T-Mobile store to return the unneeded chip and was informed that they could not accept and refund the $15 I played for the chip. My second and last visit to this store was a disaster. The greeter at the store asked how I could be assisted. I informed him that this was my 2nd visit to return the SIMM card and get my refund. He informed me that it was not possible to get a refund. By this time I figured out that I would never get a square deal and get my refund. I asked for my refund and he refused to acknowledge my legitimate complaint. I repeatedly asked for my refund and he continued to refuse to comply. He then told me that he would call the police if I did not leave. Maybe T-Mobile should have not hired such inferior quality employees who know nothing about customer service? I called corporate T-Mobile on the phone and they knew how to resolve a refund and render top quality customer service! If you have a need to buy or seek service or product don't make the mistake of thinking you will get professional customer service from this Blanco/1604 store. Avoid this nest of unprofessionals!!! There was no wait when I went in which was awesome as I was in a rush. Jamie was great, very efficient but also friendly. It's $17.00 to change a phone number and the switch is effective almost immediately. This is a small location but one I recommend as there doesn't seem to be much traffic through here. With a Starbucks next door, even a little wait might be alright ;) read more
