Paid for my service for the month at 30 Mbs. Went to pick up my modem (which should have been ready). The lady at the store said that I could not pick it up that someone would have to come out and install the service. Ummm okay. So I wait for three days for someone to show up. When they finally did show Internet was hooked up. Speed test do e and it showed 30.25mbs A week later it was running slow so I used another speed test and was only getting 15mbs. Checked the mail and received a bill from Time Warner for $230. They charged me for the month ( which was already paid for) and a $55 few for hook up. So I called. They were apologetic and fixed the bill and the speed. Two weeks later I receive a notice that they were going to shut off my service. So I called. It seems that another party had Time Warner here before and left a bill unpaid. They told me that the Bill had to be paid or else they were going to shut off my service. Yes you read that correctly. They are shutting off MY service if I don't pay someone else's bill. They said I had to prove that I didn't get the benefit of service from the old bill. Ok. I was in Iraq so I asked if my passport stamp out of the country would work. Time warner said no. I explained that it shows when I departed and when I came back in the country so obviously I was not here. Still not good enough. The only choice offered was for me to PAY SOMEONE ELSE'S BILL. So I told them to come get their modem and shove it up their ass. Supposedly I will be getting a refund that is yet to occur. So be warned. They will take your money and when you are not looking slow your service down. They will try and bill you for other peoples debt and will also try and slip in other charges. Pay attention to your bills!!

This turned out not to be the case and I contacted the owner Nate Hinze who said that Direct TV did not lock in price for over 12 months...Riffe also told myself and my wife we would receive 2 $100 visa gift cards within 2 weeks of installation. This turned out also to be untrue. I never heard any more back from Riffe or Hinze. This is not a reputable company to deal with!

If I could give a negative Star review I most certainly would. This is by far the worst service…read moreprovider you could possibly find. You pay for "high speed" internet and can only get 10mb service, that's hardly high speed. Not to mention it disconnects every 20 minutes or so, but when you call support they tell you everything is good on their end. Clearly it is not, considering this happens to every device in the house when it happens. Unfortunately it is the only provider in our area. If you have other options in yours you should go with options other than this. 100% complete garbage. You would think they would care about a customer that has been with them for 20+ years.
