We cancelled our service Sept 27, 2025 after being a Verizon customer for over 20 years. However,…read morewe continued to get bills. We called MULTIPLE times and spoke to foreigners working from home we could barely understand, and told them that we cancelled our account on Sept 27, 2025 and we wanted confirmation that our account was closed. And also to reverse the new charges on our account. They assured us the account was cancelled and they would be reversing any charges. We asked for email confirmation, and they said they would send it. We never get an email. A month goes by and we get ANOTHER bill, we repeat the process of calling and waiting a long time on the phone, tell them to send us a copy via email that everything is cancelled and we have a zero balance, "Yes, absolutely we will" nothing ever comes. We go another month, now the bill is up to $350+ I call back again and beg them to please get this fixed. By this point, they can't even find our phone number in their system. I'm beyond upset and frustrated at this point. Another month goes by and now we're in collections for nearly $500.00. I am going to the Midland TX store today and will be resolving this issue once and for all. I've never had worse outsourced customer service in my life. If I cannot get this resolved today, I'll be going on all social medias and repeating this same information about the absolute horrific service, along with inquiring about litigation with a local attorney. Edit: also for the past 30 minutes, I've been trying to call the local number 432.520.3535 and I cannot get anyone in that office to pick up. I get transferred to Atlanta eventually. Absolutely terrible service.

Was told we had to pay it off ourselves. Then switch to Verizon then we would be reimbursed in the same amount back to us after a few months with a gift card. Only to find out I was misinformed & that now we are out the $400 as not only was I given the wrong information but also my inquiry was never logged into their system when I called, like they are supposed to do. Not only am I a loyal customer of 12 years but I brought them another customer. I asked if anything could be added as a discount in the amount but was given the run around by customer service again! Extremely frustrating & disappointment with Verizon. Thinking I need to cancel all 3 lines & take my business elsewhere!  I shouldn't  be misled & not given a solution while I'm out that much money. Misinforming customers & not fixing the problem is the best way to upset a loyal customer & lose them while they ensure to let people know how badly they conduct business. I will be letting everyone know online & as well as every person & family member I know.

04/18/21 3:00pm…read more I went to the Verizon Store off of 42nd Street to buy 2 new phones (one for myself/one for the wife) & had a very unpleasant experience. Fist off I want to I reiterate that I DO understand the "no mask" mandate Texas governor passed, doesn't necessarily apply, if the a business itself still wants to enforce you to wear masks. I get it. My family and I have been really good about wearing our masks for over a year and have had no issues with any business(s) whatsoever. Today although, I had forgot to bring my mask with me & my wife had hers in her purse. She wore hers, I didn't have one. That's you is how it started. We had already been to several stores for the day, getting supplies for DIY's projects & had ZERO issues with any of the stores that were visited. I ended up dropping & breaking my phone at Home Depot & decided to just buy a new one instead of replacing the screen. My wife's phone was also up for an upgrade so it was more convenient to upgrade both at once. We arrived at the Verizon store and greeted by a woman at the door. She proceeded to ask for my name, telephone number & the purpose of our visit. All information was given and an employee then opened the door behind her to let her know he could help us in that exact moment. She said "ok good". As soon as she turned around and we were about to walk in she stops us and said "you need a mask to go in". I get it. It might be their policy but the way she said it and in the manner was so unacceptable. If this is their "policy" she should of let me know that I wasn't allowed to enter their business without a mask as soon as she saw me walk up to the door and before she asked me all her questions. This wasn't the case. She greeted us, asked for all my information, question the reason of our visit, spoke to me for a minute, asked for another employee if he was ready to help us & then turns around and says I can't go in without a mask. I mentioned to her I didn't have one & she just gave me a deer in the headlights look in complete silence. She didn't even bother to explain if it was policy or not. It was a very awkward and disturbing silence. If she really wanted to help/ease the situation she would of given an explanation or even apologized for the inconvenience. Neither was done. She gave me a look in complete silence, as if she was saying I was SOL. Very disrespectful & unprofessional in my opinion. Her judgment was extremely poor in handling this situation and in that I begin to wonder if Verizon even trains their employees in costumer service? My overall experience with this this Verizon Store in the past 20 years has always been above and beyond great, except for today. I was greatly disappointed with the woman at the door. I believe the woman was a manager (which would make this worse if she is) and if so, she should have better judgment and training when it comes to dealing with situations that arise. Because if this I will most likely NEVER step foot in that store again and would rather travel the 20 min it takes to visit the Midland location. Customer service is a staple to any business & should be a priority to new & repeated costumers. Based on the reviews (1 star) of this particular location it is very clear that costumer service, or lack there of, is almost nonexistent. This is such a disappointing way to lose costumers.

The store manager helped me both Saturday and spent hours trying to activate my warranty phone and then process my upgrade. I was eventually told there was an outage and to return the next day. I later discovered my warranty phone was still receiving calls and texts because it had never been properly deactivated. On Sunday, Jayda helped me and had everything activated in about 5 minutes. I also left my warranty phone at the store because it was supposed to be my trade-in. Unfortunately, I later discovered the trade-in was never entered into the system, and I wasn't even given a receipt. On Monday, my husband needed his warranty phone activated and again spent 2 1/2 hours with the store manager. Eventually, Jayda and Emily stepped in, and Emily had it working within minutes. Emily also helped my husband with an iPad purchase and had him out quickly. The biggest issue was being given conflicting information about the taxes I supposedly owed, including being told my phone could potentially be considered lost or stolen. Verizon Customer Service later confirmed they could not find the amount the store manager claimed I owed and confirmed the phone was not considered lost or stolen. I was also promised a call from management that never came. I understand outages happen, but hours of wasted time, an unprocessed trade-in, no receipt, conflicting charges, and having other employees repeatedly fix issues should not happen. That said, Jayda and Emily were amazing--kind, knowledgeable, efficient, and professional. They resolved in minutes what had taken hours. They deserve recognition for their excellent customer service. Unfortunately, because of everything that happened, I would not recommend dealing with this store manager. If I ever have to return, I will specifically ask for Jayda or Emily.

When she did get it setup and I went to pay she said that will be 373 dollars. I immediately told her no she had said 171 the staff argued with me until one slipped and said we said 171 dollars. They still gave me a hard time when I asked the to give my phone back and turn it back on. The initially said they couldn't and then after some discussion which was not nice they turned it back on.
