The very friendly tech arrived (early!) and quickly determined that Cox had disconnected the line to my house due to detected egress. He shook his head....couldn't explain why they simply disconnected me with no communication, climbed up and reconnected, cleaned up the connection at my house, and all is good. Thank you Cox "Communications". And seriously, thank you to the technician who just wanted to make things right. Every single time they've told me it's the equipment in my house - EVERY TIME - they end up fixing it remotely or they climb up to that utility pole in front of my house and fix something.
