The team was already very familiar with Ubiquiti systems and was incredibly patient working with me despite my fairly basic understanding. They walked me through the tradeoffs and ultimately recommended stepping up from mid-range equipment to more professional-grade options. The reasoning was clear, the cost/benefit made sense, and at no point did I feel pressured--just well-advised. The actual Ethernet installation work was top-notch--smurf tubing, recessed (not sticking out!) enclosures, and everything. The level of craftsmanship and attention to detail is honestly beyond what I would normally expect (or even feel comfortable demanding from contractors). They went above and beyond without being asked, and the cable organization is immaculate. Absolutely fantastic experience…read more To start, the quote was well considered and thoughtful, and they took the time to really understand exactly how they would accomplish our goals, which gave me huge confidence in their work. The work was fantastic and equally as thoughtful, even often going above and beyond what we originally discussed if something could be easily fixed around where they were working. For example, I recently had an AT&T Fiber install, and they noticed the line installed by the AT&T technician was just flapping in the wind against my house. While they were routing other lines, they took the time to secure that fiber line and clean it up, in addition to sealing the holes left by AT&T. The installations themselves were perfect, using laser measurers to ensure perfect alignment, bubble wrapping ladders to ensure no potential damage on drywall, running wires in such a way to hide them, running wires secured, etc. Just about as perfect as you could imagine an installation to be. Without a shred of doubt, the next time we have any additional low voltage/networking work needed, they are an easy automatic call for me. Strongly recommended!

Gabe answered all of my questions, big and small, throughout the whole process, and communicated clearly and thoroughly (I consider myself to have a basic/intermediate level of understanding technology, but am no expert). What I really appreciated was the transparency given with price quotes, and found that their prices are very reasonable for the service. Since I don't live nearby their shop, I took advantage of the free Uber service they provide to have your device picked up from and delivered back to you. I was incredibly hesitant to give my device, with all of my data on it, to an Uber driver, but Gabe assured me it wouldn't be a problem and that he had means to handle if anything went awry with the delivery. Thankfully this wasn't an issue. I don't know of any other company who offers this service, let alone at no charge. I am delighted and relieved to say that Total Computer Solutions was successful at being able to retrieve almost 100% of my data - the few irretrievable files ended up being not very important to me anyway. They also hold onto your data for 3 weeks post-service as a precautionary measure.
