Having been referred, and Needing to drive halfway across county the following morning, I felt more comfortable after speaking to the young Russian gentleman with a bob and the business owner (both reassuring me it was a routine procedure), i consented. 90 minutes later I have a phone that stayed turned on overnight and doesnt burn my hand when touched. As for my data problem, the gentleman provided instructions for how to move the data without losing it. After speaking to an Apple tech, who advised I get a new phone because my version 11 phone has only half the capacity of the newer phones out there because "the upgrades require more just to run the phone" and since I can't afford one at the moment, this is the perfect opportunity to learn a new skill ! I walked in and was quoted a price of $90 for a new iPhone 6 screen cover. The gentleman also told me it would be ready in about 2 hours. About an hour later, after brunch, and walking back towards my apartment i stopped in to see if it was ready and it was! He asked me to check: my photos, camera (both regular and selfie views), told me to make a phone call, and send a message. After clearing all those checks i was good to go. This past Wednesday i did have a glitch and the entire screen did go back, but a simple manual restart fixed the problem. i don't blame PC Mobile for this i blame the fact that i dropped my phone... but hey they did the job and were really nice and accommodating. thanks again!

The battery health meter in Settings said the battery was degraded and only at 67% capacity. (New battery should be 100%) I took the phone back and the owner said it was an IOS problem, so I took the phone home again and updated the IOS. The battery worked slightly better but still wouldn't hold a charge. I went back again, and the owner only would give me back $30. Finally I bought a new battery for $10 on eBay and installed it myself. It showed 100% capacity. I looked at the manufactured date on the battery PC Mobile Solutions installed and it was three years old. I don't know whether he took it out of another phone or if it was just sitting around for 3 years.
