This review I guess is more about T-Mobile than this particular outlet but I also have had good experiences here. After 20+ years with T-Mobile, AT&T caught me at a weak moment and I switched over. AT&T was an absolute abortion from day 1. My 4 lines were pre qualified for 4 full trade ins. That turned into only 2 being approved and attempts to solve with customer service were ignored. We lost over $1000 to AT&T. When I switched back over to T-Mobile, I expected similar shenanigans. Instead, I received every penny they promised. TBH, it wasn't seamless. I had to contact T-Mobile twice, costing me at least 3 hours of time, but we eventually got everything they promised. Given the shitshow that is cellular service these days, I'll take it as a win. read more

Absolutely unacceptable experience. I came in before closing for a basic screen protector replacement, something I pay for monthly through T-Mobile insurance. Abigail refused service and offered zero effort to help or problem solve. I even offered to apply the screen protector myself to save with time and was still denied. If T-Mobile is comfortable charging customers every month for protection plans, then stores need to be prepared to actually provide the service during posted business hours. This location clearly does not value paying customers. I will be changing my services after this experience. read more

First time coming to this location, was having problems with my phone and it wasn't getting any calls. So I had to make a stop while I was in the area. As soon as I walked into the store I was greeted by an sales person, they had us take a sit and wait until someone was free to help me. The sales person who took care of me was Taisha, she took the time explaining everything and helping me get my phone in back to working order. She didn't think any questions I had were stupid and she helped me a bew screen protector for my phone. This will be my new place to stop if I need work done on my phone for sure. read more

I got to N Decatur T mobile location, bunch of people waiting. 2-3 people working. 1 employee was just putting new customers on the schedule. I was told 30 minutes wait time, but obviously took longer. When the T Mobile lady came to me, I told her my concern in regards to phone issues I'm having, but she didn't even waited for me to finish talking. She took her charger in a rush and plugged my phone after taking my phone cover off, my phone was charging, so she said it's nothing she can do and that it's my charger not the phone, and she suggested to take it to Apple. T mobile employee dismissed me and my concerns and could care less I waited there for about 1 hour. I barely leave comments , good or bad, but... Alarming incompetence with the exception of Reese, who likely saved me another 24 hours without a phone. Went to the store yesterday because my camera wasn't working, lady who helped me sent my phone into an unresponsive state. Then told me I could only get it fixed at Best Buy Best Buy sent me to apple, who sent me to T mobile, who sent me back to apple, who sent me back to t mobile. After getting services turned back on, phone wouldn't download app. Another lady suggested master resetting my brand new phone REESE, stepped in and realized my phones VPN was on. We switched to T-Mobile from AT&T recently. Not only did we save a ton of money, we have much better coverage. We even have cell service out at Red Rock where non of my friends have coverage. Their customer service has been over the top helpful and polite. They even call it "customer love!" We liked it so much we added wireless internet and dropped Cox, saving another nice chunk of change. Last night I went to pick up my wife at the airport and while I was gone our puppy managed to get through the crate and destroy the power cable for our internet portal. I called T-Mobile and it took less than five minutes and a new power cord is on the way, no charge. Highly recommend. read more

I had to wait 30min to trade in my phone and by trade in i mean i literally just had to hand the worker the phone. I had already done the transfer and phone clear. The only good thing that came out of my experience was getting a new phone. I was told a different price for my monthly payments in store than what my actual payment was. I was also told what my due date would be in store but that was also wrong. I've had to call 611 customer service 3 times to figure out these issues and the first time I called I was told that I didn't have a balance due. The next day I called again and was told I have a balance that is past due. Setting up my online access to my account still will not work after numerous attempts on the phone with customer service and on my own. Very disappointed. read more

It would help if your staff explained details of a trade in, my paperwork reflected a 5.00 credit , when we called to ask about the error, the rep could not tell us how to navigate the app to find the remaining credit. It was not explained that the trade in would reflect as a monthly credit on our bill. Do you think your customers should know this!! You don't get the trade in value up front. Walked in to the store this evening and was not greeted as I stood there for 3 minutes, no problem I understand being busy...when I was finally greater by who I found out was the manger she never said hello she just made sure to tell me that the store was about to close about 4 times before even inquiring what I wanted of saying hello! All I wanted to do was purchase a phone cash no payments no data transfer just a cash transaction. I already called and confirmed the phone was in stock and only needed to purchase for add to an already set up line on a business account. After she finished her rambling she then allowed me to speak and honestly I was so annoyed. At that point I just told her it was ok, because they're about to close! I wasn't even bothered that they would be closing soon if they wouldn't have been able to assist me it was the lack of customer service that she displayed! Instead of just greeting me and asking how she could help she was so rude! Greeted instantly & although all the employees were currently assisting people -- Efran (spelling could be wrong) excused himself from his current customer to personally greet us as well as check us in. Luckily he was also the one to fully assist me and my brother. The wait was a little lengthy but nothing to crazy & Efran was so sweet & consistently kept us updated on any wait time. He was funny & although they were close to closing, I didn't feel like I was being rushed at all. I was there to get a new phone and I already knew how to transfer everything from my old phone by myself but he still offered to transfer everything even with only 10-15 minutes until they closed. He was great. Mauricio was also very nice & very knowledgeable. There was also a girl with black hair and I believe red lipstick who didn't assist us but I could overhear her engagement with another client and she seems phenomenal as well. I knew exactly what I wanted & how the terms of my contract where going to work (do your research, folks), so I can imagine this made the process smoother. Anyhow, I was met by Alexis, who's customer service really drove me to leave this review. I would like to note that first off, she appeared well put together & ready to work. Like I'm sorry folks, if you look like a slob kabob at work, I assume you dgaffff about this job? ‍ (this might just be my opinion tho ) She was welcoming & personable, even with something so simple. I really enjoyed her vibe the entire time. I felt comfortable, fluid, & genuine; where as, it could have been cold, uncomfortable, & stale. Gosh where do I even begin. I'd give this place 0 stars if I could ! I was directed by corporate to go Into this store to see a manager because a year and a half ago when I got my phone here they gave us $800 trade in credit towards my new phone and we paid the remaining balance. Well the other day I went to get the new IPhone at a different location and was told I wasn't allowed to because this Decatur location put my phone under a promotion of 24 months meaning I have to have this phone for 24 months and am not able to get a new one and I'm guessing the girl that helped me here did that because she had to meet her Quota for the promotion. The manager Hoss didn't even want to be bothered with helping and when he came over I told him at Verizon I usually would just pay the difference and the phone was paid off and he literally called me a "Liar" ... I am still in shock this guy is still a manager here after all the bad reviews. He was seriously so disrespectful and refused to help me with this issue and said "since this was over a year ago it doesn't matter anymore" yeah maybe it doesn't matter to you because it doesn't affect you in anyway but it's wrong. I told him I felt they had been very sneaky with me and I told him corporate told me if they gave me any problems in store to call and speak to them and he called and waited on the phone for cooperate I kid you not , not even 2 minutes and hung up and told me "they aren't gonna answer and I'm not waiving the $300 fee for you sorry" what kind of customer service is this ?!! Corporate literally had me drive 30 minutes to this store (as we no longer live in this area) to get this situation figured out and he is going against corporate and not helping me.
