These are quite honestly the most dishonest people I've ever done business with. I had been with Verizon for almost 25 years before coming here for a less expensive phone plan. I tried to get the process started myself by ordering a SIM card from the T-Mobile website. I received the card in the mail about five days later. After watching an online tutorial, I realized I wasn't comfortable switching the SIM cards out on my own, so I waited several weeks until I had time in my schedule to walk over to the T-Mobile store to ask for help. I went to the store on November 16th. A gentlemen replaced my Verizon SIM card with the T-Mobile one I received in the mail and activated my $55/month T-Mobile cell service plan. Sadly T-Mobile's service turned out to be extremely poor, and I was unable to make calls or send text messages from my apartment. I deactivated the service on December 7th. To date T-Mobile has charged me $118.60 for the 21 days I was connected to their $55/month service. I went back to the store to inquire about all the charges to my checking account. The woman told me the start date for my phone plan was the day I ordered the SIM card from T-Mobile's website even though I didn't start using the SIM card or T-Mobile's cell service until weeks later. She confirmed the activation date of November 16th was in her system, however when I requested that I be refunded for all charges other than the 21 days of actual service, she said no, then kept raising her voice at me and rudely repeating "ORDERING A SIM CARD EQUALS HAVING PHONE SERVICE!" anytime I tried to say anything. So then I tried to ask her a few times how T-Mobile could condone charging someone for phone service while the SIM card is in the mail for several days, but she just kept loudly repeating "SIM CARD EQUALS PHONE SERVICE!" without answering the question. Absolutely no listening skills or real thought going on here, just her overpowering the conversation by raising her voice and continually cutting me off, while simultaneously treating me like I came into the store to try and pull some scam. My request for a refund was escalated to management. I was supposed to receive a call within 24 hours, but there's been no follow through. My only recourse at this point is to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
Btw, you can get a similar plan for $20/month for two years through Visible (by Verizon). It's working out wonderfully for me, and they will even let you try out the service for 15 days at no cost before switching. read more
