I came here 6 months ago because my phone was ran over by a bus, and was looking to upgrade. One of the employees (Kelvin?) had recommended me to use my insurance for them to send a new phone, that way when I upgrade in the future, I would be able to trade-in this "new" one and get the trade-in value. Props to this guy!! Today I finally went to upgrade my phone and every employee was incredibly welcoming to their customers. Tommy helped me, but I had issues with my old phone and wasn't able to upgrade at that time. But he was patient and kind while waiting for the issues to subside. Learnt that he was promoted to the 18ave T-Mobile store, which is well deserved for him! I came back two hours later when I fixed the issue, and another employee, Julio, helped me. He was great at explaining the price breakdown for me and extremely understanding about the upgrade and transfer process that took over an hour to finish. The store manager (Marlon?) was awesome at making sure the customers were able to find help immediately and with an employee who spoke their language. read more

Went to have Old pictures transferred to my new phone, one of the Employee named Anthony, took the time to help me with the phone, (an Hour) Kept trying, and got my pictures on the new phone! Thank you Anthony, Great job! Did a better job than the 18th Ave store. read more

I noticed some 2016 negative reviews and I would like those customers to give it a 2nd try. Here's why: This is my 3rd trip to this T-Mobile store. 2 years ago, I changed my carrier from AT&T (10+ years w them and they were terrible... I was too lazy to switch until they decided to charge me $300 for a mistake they made. I left on the spot) to T-Mobile. 2015, it was kind of a mess, customers floating everywhere and no one knew "which" T-Mobile rep had the sign-in sheet. It was confusing, annoying and lots extra wasted time. 2016, bought accessories & changed my sim - it was quick, someone was readily available - perhaps because I didn't have to deal with an actual rep? 2017, went in last weekend to add an additional line to the family plan. A few people were waiting and already queued up. *heavy sigh* BUT wait - someone came and asked us for our 1) name 2) what we need help with and 3) if we need specific language help? - OK - organization is good. We've upgraded from clip board to tablet tracking. Our quoted time about 10 mins. Well 10 mins was it - we got the next rep, who helped us add the extra line and finished in less than 20 mins! Awesome & painless. Turns out, they now have a 1) general "queue" for any customer questions and a 2) dedicated queue for specific needs (also depends if you need specific language support that may add extra waiting time). Overall, a good experience - if T-Mobile wants to make this a 5 stars experience, add stools for your employees & customers at the workstations. I think it makes it a more engaging experience! read more

This is the worst T-Mobile store in the world.   The left hand does not know what the right hand is doing.  Yesterday I purchased a Samsung Galaxy S21 with a trade in phone.  The phone I want to trade in was not eligible.   Still I reluctantly made the purchase anyway. That evening I read the Trade In promotions again.  In it T-Mobile was accept a Samsung Galaxy S7 for $200.00 trade in value.  I called T-Mobile customer service number and explained the situation.   They instructed me to go back to the store.  They could void my original purchase and re-purchase the phone with the $200.00 trade in. Today I go back to the store, now I am told there is a $75.00 re-stocking fee to void my original purchase but they were going to give me the same phone back.  According the Assistant Manager that was company policy.  There was no was of avoid the re-stocking fee. Called customer service again I explained the situation.  They said the Assistant Manager was wrong.  To avoid another issue they would send me a UPS shipping label.   They would get the $200.00 credit to my account. The Assistant Manager did not care about customer services.  He was just too lazy to resolve the problem. read more

I have been here multiple times in the past and always left annoyed and frustrated, due to the employees lack of attentiveness and trying to sell me products and services I didn't need, this changed today while dealing with Annie she went above and beyond to help me get into a new phone at a great deal I didn't feel taken advantage of as I have in the past. My situation was very frustrating and time consuming due to my screen not functioning, Annie took her time was cordial, plesant and attempted many different fixes, when I thought all hope of recovering my data was lost she was able to seamlessly transfer all my important info. This is the first time I have been exceedingly happy when leaving this store. Annie for employee of the month. read more

After my terrible experience with Tmobile at 1908 on 86st, i decided to pop into this one to upgrade to a new Samsung Galaxy 6. Had an appointment with Arson, but the wait was extremely long. Still each employee came to us, assuring us we will be seen. Instead of Arson, this lovely lady, Gigi, helped us out. She was so sweet and answered all my questions about the S6 and also about the different ways to fiance the phone. Going to corporate stores may always to lead to problem, but if you do go to this store, see Gigi! read more

Came here to pick up a new phone since my iPhone died on me. I decided to switch over to the Samsung Galaxy S4. I called in advance to make sure they had the phone in stock and to let them know I'm on my way there. The guy that helped me ( sorry, I forgot your name) was super nice and very helpful! He offered me few options, but he didn't offer me the one I was expecting to hear ( and I knew about from the advertisement). Found out via text that 2 cellphones were purchased w/o my knowledge! It was on my t-mobile account! Yesterday I called & was informed it would be a 7 day investigation & removed from my account! However, they don't offer assistance & told use 2do a police report! They showed us film w/ a masked man purchasing the phones! ! Feel like we're good customers & the mgr, we waited over 2 hours 2 talk with!! Furthermore, t-mobile should take responsibility & we're over 65 & would like compensation 4 all this footwork & anxiety! Looks like its fraud, or an inside job 2 me! Came in to purchase a prepaid plan which is a quick in-and-out process. No way to miss this store, it's pulsing a purple light from the interior. The layout is a center island of joined kiosks and representatives surrounded by merchandise. By the time I approached the counter, a representative named Bonnie amicably approached and assisted me on my purchase. Basic questions such as 'what type of plan is desired?', 'how about data?', 'is a family plan better for you?' were all addressed. Ultimately stuck to and purchased a prepaid plan. Bonnie smiled and continued from there to complete the purchase with explanations on how T-Mobile goes about prepaid plans and their fees - no rudely pushing any family plans or more expensive options on me, a big plus. In the end, Bonnie made sure we got the SIM with the dried phone number written down by Sharpie. Phenomenally smooth experience as it was the quick in-and-out with some smiles all around. Looking forward to getting another SIM soon and hope it's with Bonnie at this location. read more

The guy with glasses and dark hair is hard working but the rest are lazy as hell. Chit chatting to friends who visit the store and co-workers are more important then tending to paying customers. I was looking to upgrade my phone to the latest phone and waited 15 minutes for a sales person. 2 sales person saw that I was waiting but decided to continue chatting and do nothing so I decided to not waste my money here either. This place messed up my girlfriend real good. Guy named Jose transfered a number from another carrier into an existing line , which inevitably cancelled that existing line that we had NO intention to cancel . The intention was to transfer a number from another carrier over to t mobile . My gf had to go through a run around and a huge ordeal to get this whole pile of mess fixed BY HERSELF. Stay away . They don't know what they're clicking and the next thing you know you're stuck with a bunch of horse poop for you to fix yourself. Also a lot of the representatives love to just chit chat among each other , giving customers the impression that they're invisible . read more

I was at this store and totally disappointed with their service. There a lady called BONN. I am tired of explain the whole story. But what I want to say is at her position. The most important thing is not your skill or knowledge. It is A GOOD AND ACCEPTABLE SERVICE. The reason I transferred from AT&T is looking for good service. But her service totally disappointed me. This is third time I visited this store. The staff helped me before are very nice. I really hope T-Mobile should watch the lever of your employee and make sure they are at same level. Some one should close this place I could you 0 star to this place.Worst experience ever had. I am using T-Mobile from last 3 years never had such a bad experience like today do. The sales man ashley (don't reminder right name) he need to learn little bit about customer service also his manager some lady apart from there everyone was look helpful. Basically I paying 147$ for 2 line just for sim and Internet. So I order new SIM card But by mistake they on old address that's ok it's understandable. For that reason one of T-Mobile representative told me to visit one of T-Mobile shop they will give you free of cost. When I go there he treat me like he is doing fever on me. And he said no I can't do it even he didn't pull up my account and see any note three. In very very bad manner he said no free SIM card !!! We don't do it !!! Again I call T-Mobile customer service but he don't want to talk to them... Bad place n Shitty customer service never will be back again. Switching to AT&T is better option . read more

The store keeps getting busier and busier because they're so good! It's worth the wait to go to this store. The store is spacious! It is very accommodating to disabled people! In particular I want to thank Bonnie, who has gone out of her way to accommodate me! Even though you bought your phone already you could still go back to the store for help or even just call them!
