Asked him multiple times how much the credit we were getting He even called his manager, Bruce Cooper, on the phone. When I asked him to show me on the contract that's when it was only going to be a $3.33 credit a month. A lot lower than what he stated and he said his manager told him over the phone. After all the BS we told Rod to just give us the phone back and we'd leave. He already switched the # over to the new. And he wanted us to pay $38!!! I was like wtf.?! Braxton at this T-Mobile location is by far the best cellular phone technician I have ever encountered. I bought my mother an iphone 14 plus because the battery in her iphone 8+ was weak. She was on "Straight Talk." I transferred the data to the new phone but the phone line didn't transfer. We tried everything to get it to transfer. We thought it was a bad phone. We talked to many people. We spent many hours. The old iphone stopped working but the new line number never started on the new phone. Nobody could figure it out. Then we took the phone to Braxton and said, "we need our old number, can you make it work?" He spent hours and hours on hold with our previous carrier. They would not give him the transfer PIN. My mom got hungry and left. He kept working. My mom had a beading class. He kept working. Finally, after more than 4 hours of wrangling with unStraight Talk, he got the number transferred. He is a hero. Now my mom has a phone with a battery that will last for days instead of minutes! Braxton deserves a big pay increase and a seat on the board of directors for the effort he put in. I came to this location on Knox for a screen protector. The gentleman helping me was reading text messages off of his Apple Watch the whole time, laughing. I told him I wanted the same exact brand screen protector I had bought before. He came back with a different one and said it was easier to put on. I had to tell him 3 times to check my account because that's not the one I want on my phone. Since I was there I decided to ask about what I would need to do for trading in my phone. He looked at my account and said I wasn't eligible for a certain promotion, gave me misleading information and said he could sell me the phone but wouldn't be able to do a data transfer since it was AN HOUR before closing. I called customer service when I left and they assured me that information was not correct. I decided to call back the store just to inform them of the right information, the woman who answered basically said that wasn't true and gave me some story about them having a store policy??? Anyway, this whole store is 100% unprofessional and not willing to help you or make business. This place moves at a glacial pace. I came in and there was only two works, and 9 people waiting to be helped. One of the workers was pleasant and took my name and then went back to assisting the person that they were helping. I waited for about 10 minutes before realizing that the Apple Store might be of some help also, so I asked one of the guest how long they'd been waiting and he said "an hour" ridiculousness! So I go to the Apple Store across the street, crazy busy way more people waiting but was able to get help relatively quickly the accessed the issue I was having confirmed that I'd have to speak with T-Mobil. I returned ready to fall to the bottom of the list since I'd been gone for 15 minutes, I walked in to find that nothing had changed, both workers were still working with the same individuals.... She went above and beyond in replacing my screen protector for my phone and When I let her know the Otter Case I purchased was having issues with the clip, she not only gave me step-by-step instructions on how to file a claim, but also assistted me in finding my receipt from my previous purchase and helped me file it. After years of being under overpriced cell phone contracts, I made the switch to unlocked, no-contract service last year. I still don't understand why the US is the only country that has glamorized the concept of overpriced cell phone contracts in exchange for a subsidized phone up front. I tried the Android thing for the last 5 months and I was really missing my iPhone. I definitely didn't want to go back to a pricey contract provider so when I heard that you can get now get a no-contract SIM card for an unlocked iPhone with T-Mobile, I decided to give it a try. I was in and out in about 15-20 minutes which for a mobile provider, is unbelievably fast. They handed me my new SIM card and receipt and I was on my way home. I got a call from Abel about 30 minutes later to follow up on the transfer of my phone number. The store closed at 5 PM so I knew there'd likely be some down time why my number transferred. By 7 PM my number was transferred fully and my iPhone ready to go. Overall, T Mobile made my experience easy. They gave me concise instructions for the transfer process and made everything super easy. I'm just glad to keep on saving $55 a month over AT&T and I get to keep on using my iPhone. read more

This review is completely out of principle. Their "exceptional staff" and store manager are pretty much waiting by the door to run out the door and tell people they can't park in unmarked parking spots. No signs. Nothing. Just an empty parking spot in front of their store - you can't park there because they "will tow you" even though there is now sign because "somebody stole it". Anyway, the manager Jeffrey Wineberg was very reassuring in that they would definitely tow us and we could speak to their corporate office if we wanted to but that would get us nowhere. They would still tow us from their unmarked parking spot. This is a little alarming because that means anyone can just tow you from any parking spot, even if there is no sign so I asked the security guard and he said, "THEY LEGALLY CAN NOT TOW YOU IF THERE IS NO SIGN AND THEY WILL NOT TOW YOU." I just thought it was very unprofessional of the manager and his staff to 1. Run out of the store to tell you that you can't park there 2. Lie about your sign being stolen because the security guard confirmed that it was a lie 3. Tell us that we can call corporate but it won't get us anywhere. Not to mention, the store was completely empty - who are you saving parking spots for? read more

Amazing location, best service I have ever received in a long while I came here with my family and we all got new phones. My parents don't know much about phones and asked literally a billion questions. They answered every single one of them. My Mom even trolled them. After fully explaining each phone and their personal recommendations, my Mom finally chose. Then 10 mins alter, changed her mind. Repeat 3 more times. When we finally were on the way to check out, after all the paperwork and discussion and pulling phones out, my Mom changes her mind once again. Tmobile happily and patiently made the changes to the phone. In the end we all got new phones, and got upgraded data plans based on their new "Value Plan" and our bill came out cheaper than what we were paying already with Tmobile. Also, since I wanted the extremely limited LG Nexus 4 phone, I got a personal phone call from the Store Manager, Soung, telling me the phone has arrived. Grade A service people. THIS T-Mobile location is horrible. Honestly, I've purchased from T-Mobile, and I'm their biggest fan when it comes to the customer service and phone selection... usually. The issue I've got here is that the store referred me to the customer service number, which referred me back to the store. And no one could solve the problem. Relatively simple to me. The visual voice mail wasn't working properly. SO, went into the store. They're usually helpful, and I just had two people look at me and tell me they didn't know. I tried giving them as much information as possible, and they both said, "I don't know. Maybe try to go to another T-Mobile location." Obviously just some under-trained employees at this location who refuse to even try and help. They wouldn't even take my phone behind the counter to look at it. Absolutely worst experience I have ever had with a company. They draw you in with the phone deals for 2 years and the bill fluctuates monthly, the reps are poorly educated and the company accepts no responsibility for their mistakes.They provide temporary solutions but nothing long term. Recently I called Tmobile and was informed my phone had a known defect and they would replace it. They refused to replace the defected phone due to a small crack by the camera. So instead of replacing the defective phone they want me to file a claim which means I will have to pay a deductible. Why would the condition matter when there is a known defect. This company does anything not to accept responsibility. I would not recommend TMobile to a dog if they were giving free dog biscuits because there is a scam!!!!! read more

I have serveral different phones with Sim cards from each company and both either have Zero Bars or at best 2. Serveral times lately I cannot get a call out. I'm switching! This is ridiculous. All customer service in and out of a store, including the one in this review is either "We're sorry" or "There is nothing we can do." ???? Really? Well I can take my $ to another carrier. Don't waste your $ on T-Mobile or Simple Mobile. They may be a few dollars cheaper, but you do get what you pay for! I stopped in here Thursday evening around 6:30 p.m. I had to wait about fifteen minutes, but it was well worth the wait (just browsed their phone selection while I waited). The store Assistant Manager, "Andru," came over to assist me. I explained to him that earlier I had called T Mobile to drop off my parents line and was looking to leave the dark ages and upgrade from my current brick to an Android. He explained some of new/cool/fun applications of some of their new phones and showed me a demo. I decided on the Samsung Exhibit II 4G, which the store had just gotten in the day before. Currently they are $79.99 with a $50 mail in rebate. The total with a one time upgrade fee of $18 plus tax was $106 out the door, but really only about $50. Andru put together the rebate form packet and included an extra copy of the receipt (so I don't have to make a copy myself). All I have to do is fill out my personal information and copy a serial number and stick it in the mail. How easy!? He also help set my phone up so I was ready to go once I left the store. He helped me create a Google account and waited patiently as I tried to think of a user name that wasn't taken and slowly try to type it out. This is the first phone I've ever had with a touch screen. He also hooked my phone up to a machine that copied the numbers saved on my old phone to my new one. By this point it was after 7:00 p.m., the time the store closes. He was really patient and definitely could have just sent me out the door with my new phone to figure it out for myself. One star is too good for this establishment. Never ever would I ever recommend someone waste their very precious time on the people that work there. What's worse is that the manager is also part of the problem. My husband went to simply upgrade his phone and was encouraged to pic a ton of accessories (some were already put on like a new screen and protector) only to find out that none were covered with his upgrade. He was assured that he would only have to pay taxes. There was no attempt to even try and work a deal on glass protector that was already put on. Okay fine. It's understandable that there is a learning curve and a mistake was made. THEN he was charged twice. We're talking about 300 bucks! This was a mistake that he has to go BACK to the store to reconcile. Again no apologies but was told that the money would be returned within 2 to 3 days. After 4 days it was apparent that this was not the case. He contacted the manager, Lauren, and she indicated that he would have to bring in a bank statement showing the double charges and it should be refunded within 7 to 10 days. When he asked why the previous associate told him 2 to 3 days he was told that "to be fair, they only just found out there was a problem that day." To be fair?!?!? There is nothing fair about this situation. No attempt to correct it by the manager or the wet eared associated. This has been a waste of my husbands time who already has to work 14 hour days and has had to spend to much time to just get his hardworking self a simple upgrade. Please just go to another t-mobile. It is obvious to me that Lauren and her staff could care less about your time and the fact that you are a paying customer. read more

Moving to T-Mobile has been a complete disaster. We were told we had 4G service in our area which turns out to be completely false. We have tried from day 1 to work with them to find different approaches to receiving better reception and each attempt has failed. My husband has actually lost contracts because clients could not reach him due to our lack of service with T-Mobile. Also, when he is on job-sites, he usually has to ask to use his clients phones because he does not have enough service to make or receive calls. (very embarrassing) Once we realized the extent of our service issues, we were told we had gone past our 2 week window of opportunity to cancel service. While we were trying to work through this, we were repeatedly told by their customer service that there is zero to little high speed service in our area... Where were these honest statements as we were moving 4 lines to their company? We have asked them to unlock our phones so that we could hook them up to a carrier that could provide service and they refuse to do it even though we would continue to pay our lease on the phones to T-Mobile. We were honestly deceived by this company, do not let this happen to you. It has been a horrible experience. read more

I was a loyal customer for over 10 years, and actively ranted & raved about how fantastic they were in comparison to other providers. Here I am now, paying over $300 to JUST GET RID OF THEM! I had two lines on my family plan. I have paid all my fees & cancellation costs to my line, but I have been in a never ending battle with them in regards to severing our ties completely. I have submitted a death certificate of the person who used the line first, & they declined it. Ironically, the other user is also dead, so now T-Mobile has requested TWO death certificates from me. Awesome, T-Mobile, it was a pleasure doing business with you. I will never promote this company for as long as I live, and any chance I am given I will tell my story.
