Take your business elsewhere. T-Mobile might be a good company, but the employees at this particular store care way more about making sales then they care about good customer service. read more

Mauricio Vargas, Signature Mobile Expert at 700 N. Michigan Avenue gave me outstanding customer service in replacing my iphone and adding a second line. His service was especially challenging in working with my husband, who is not a technology person. Normally, when I bring my husband along for purchases it is a 50/50 chance the service is always more difficult because of his unwillingness to accept change. The fact that Mauricio was able to overcome this challenge while maintaining a positive attitude and even sometimes joking with us says a lot why things went so well. Great job T-Mobile in bringing in great people. Keep up the good work! read more

My husband had been having problems with his I Phone for months. On a whim, while shopping, we dropped into the State Street store today and had the best experience! The store was very busy. Dennis was the first to greet us as we walked in. After about a minute Dennis was available to take care of us. We told him our problem, which is too complicated to include in this review, He started to brainstorm ideas and solutions and spent the time to solve our dilemma. The thing about Dennis that is so great is that he more than solved our problem - he went above and beyond. His customer service is fantastic. My husband is not the most tech savvy person and what sets Dennis apart is his patience, generosity and sense of humor. He also gave us some great advice to prevent problems in the future. All in all he made our day! read more

I have had two experiences so far of rude behavior by the reps at this location. One of them, Dennis, sold me on the Samsung S7 Gear VR offer. When I ran into issues trying to redeem the offer, he took no responsibility and just pointed to Samsung as the responsible party. Irresponsible behavior. And he was rude in responding to my inquiry too. People here do not understand that being in the services industry requires at least two qualities: one, never be rude; two, take full responsibility. All they care about is closing the sale. I have been to better T-mobile locations. read more

Today, I visited this store to switch service from Verizon after having problem from another store on Monroe and Wacker. Staff that help me here was perfect. He knows what he have to do. Everything was done without questions. Thank you very much for helping me out. Sorry I forgot you name, so I could not mention your name here. He looks like Hispanic guy and tall. Thank you again for your assistance. read more

Terrible service and under trained staff, th8s store, its employees and management are an embarassment to the tmobile brand. Cant even process a cash payment on an account properly and leave guests standing in the doorway for over 15 mins with no acknowledgement! Never again... read more

Amazing service! Jorge and Noman were awesome! I asked a lot of questions and they responded with courtesy, transparency and, most of all, PASSION for the brand! I didn't tell the this, but I actually do customer experience training and consulting for major brands and these guys hit every mark. Kudos to the entire team here. They work so well together. From the moment I got checked in, I felt like I was one of the family. I'll be doing all of my phone business here. Thanks! read more

Great customer service!! I went in today because I own a T-Mobile iPhone which I accidentally dropped in water, stored in rice and now the charging cable no longer fit into the port. I tried to remove any dirt and/or rice with a paper clip but had no luck. I walked into the store and was immediately greeted by Francisco, a sales associate. I explained my sad story to him. Francisco grabbed a paper clip and in under 5 minutes removed the dirt and rice, tested the phone with the charging cable and sent me on my way. Fast, friendly and efficient service. read more

I had an issue with replacing my phone prior to upgrading it. The manager of the store assisted me with the issue, and while doing so I was able to observe the other staff in-house as well. Each employee was courteous, knowledgeable, and seemed to work as a team. The manager working, whose name unfortunately escapes me, set the example high. Great customer service. read more

This T-Mobile location has the best staff I highly recommend that others use this location for all your T-Mobile needs! They are very friendly and greet every customer as they enter which shows their attentiveness, they are all very knowledgeable, very patient with their customers, and most of all make sure they go above and beyond no matter if it's a big transaction or something simple like a tech question! They help you understand what it is your buying/signing up for and they make sure it's best for you and your needs regardless if the best option isn't the best for their commission! Again the team of sales reps at this location are an elite team who work together to make sure the customer is completely satisfied!!! read more

This location has the best staff I've ever seen anywhere. (I've been helped by Asia and Adrian directly and many others indirectly) They are knowledgeable and informative when you buy and courteous and caring when you come to problems. They set a great example of what real customer service should be! read more

I absolutely hate T-Mobile!!!!! I live in the northwest suburbs of Chicago and the service is atrocious...numerous "call failed" error messages! I swear I get at least 6 per day. One day I was right in the middle of a phone interview when the call dropped. I don't have a land line so I rely heavily on my mobile phone. Sometimes, I am unable to make urgent calls or call someone back immediately because of poor connection. I usually have to wait it out any where from 2 - 8 minutes when this occurs. Last night, I gave up and went to bed as I simply could not put my calls through! Unfortunately, I have a 2-year contract. I will likely cancel the service and I do not intend to pay the penalty for cancellation. Collection on credit? Who cares?? I hope I don't jump off the bridge first!!! I plan to go back to Boost, they have earned the right for poor service; the low monthly fees means you don't expect a lot! UScellular was more dependable, but one needs to call a chiropractor cos most of their sales reps need an attitude adjustment when it comes to problem solving... read more

Umm, do I have to give a star? Let me tell you why. I came in this store to switch from prior provider to T-mobile. I was greeted by a representative that told my 9 people are ahead of me in line to be helped. Wow. Didn't realize t-mobile is in such high demand. Finally was able to talk with Bianca Z. If she greets you either walk out of the store or risk getting exactly what you are not looking for in your visit. I simply wanted to switch to t-mobile and switch over my phone and my wife's phone. I also wanted the basic 1 gig data package and No Jump. What ended up happening: I was told the 1 gig package is not an option even though its advertised everywhere online and in their brochures in their store. She insisted that I must do a minimum 3 gig data package. I fought her on this but eventually gave in knowing I then needed to plead with the 800 number customer service line. She offered to give a lousy $20 bill credit that the manager wrote a sentence on MY bill stating this credit but not on the store copy. This is the difference between 1 and 3 gig upgrades for two phones. Shady. Clearly the store and employees get bonuses for avoiding 1 gig packages. AVOID. Number 2: As i left the store I noticed JUMP on my bill but she never pitched this to me. Yet another $10/mo. I don't need to spend. Number 3: 20 minutes later I receive a text from t-mobile stating my wife's number ported to MY phone. How can you screw this up! I'm only working with two phones and you clearly either was out to screw me or your completely incompetent. To fix this, I walked to the next nearest t-mobile store and had this cleared up along with voicing all my issues as they re-affirmed shady practices at that store. All problems to use when calling t-mobile as I got everything corrected and a big apology from t-mobile as they said they would report the store. Clearly buyer beware for this particular store. If you need to stop in a t-mobile do not go into this store and support these employees. Go to another nearby surrounding store or risk getting an incorrectly ported phone with more gigs than you need and JUMP add-on's! They all clearly risking there jobs if this continues if not already fired from this. This happened recently so I can only speak for the immediate practices and near future practices of this store. Either way, BEWARE! read more

After an uneventful morning, Christina was able to resolve my issue that 227 West Monroe and 9 South LaSalle wasn't able to do their lack of customer service skills and attacking like little BITCHES! I would of gave 5-stars...but an accessory I wanted was out of stock :( Needless to say, this will be the location I go to when I need an issue resolved! read more

They do not keep track of who gets there first. They also assist people who they want first. Christina is the worst person do not go to her. She doesn't know anything and I feel sorry for this T- mobile if she is the manager. read more

I'm surprised that I haven't reviwed them seeing how so much of my time and energy is spent either at this location or calling 611. I really really really really really hate T-Mobile!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't care how friendly your representatives are and how many JD Power awards the company has won!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so not impressed! Anyway, this location, the most convenient for me, is always crowded and there is always a considerable wait. The bright spots are Javier and Terrell. They are consistently polite, knowledgeable, patient, and more helpful than they have to be. I always get an acceptable resolution when they service me. I don't mind waiting until they are available because I have not had good experiences with some the other regular workers there. How is it that you tell me one thing and it's always incorrect and when I call you on it it's like I get the Kanye shrug? What's that about?! I really try to be a fair and decent person but my T-Mobile experiences make me feel like I was a real A@#hole in a former life!!!!!!!!!!-They are just that bad. So clearly the stars are just for those two individuals. read more

Marissa was awesome. She was very helpful and I initially didn't take a liking to her but after spending an hour with her she was so helpful. I went from a very old sprint phone that didn't have any internet service or apps to an android sidekick which I love. Overall the customer service is amazing! I am so glad I made the switch. I was hestitant since I don't like change but I am so happy that I did ! Thanks Marissa. You are awesome read more

I recently purchased a Blackberry curve at this location. Although the sales person was very friendly, my account is screwed now. I paid for the phone with a package to support my phone, internet, text messages etc. And they did not plug any of this in. It's the 15th and now when I call customer care, they have no record of the changes that these dumb asses were supposed to take care of when I was in the store last month. I call the store, and I get some rude biotch that says I have to come into the store so that they can verify my account, are you serious???? My service was mishandled which is an inconvenience and now to make matters worse you need me to go out of my way to come back to this store because you guys made a mistake...even though it's close. I am never going back, save yourself the aggravation and the time and go to the store on LaSalle as these people are incompetent. read more

This store has great service. I ended up here yesterday at 15 till close with serious phone problems. The associate (I believe his name was Anthony?) was very patient and through and made sure I left with a functioning phone. Hopefully I won't have any more issues but if I do this is my T-mobile store of choice. read more

WORST SERVICE OF MY LIFE. Not only did I wait for 1.5 hours. But they misled me on the phone. They said they had a phone that I was looking for and then said that they did NOT. Wast of time. SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME AND GO TO ANY OTHER STORE read more

Huge kudos to Bianca! I ordered my new phone online, and brought it to this location for help setting it up and to get it activated. Bianca was professional, efficient and very patient as she did the set-up, put my new case on, and imported the data from my old phone. She took the time to give me a 'tour' of my new phone, with several tips that made it easy for me to use my phone immediately... even though my old phone was a flip phone from 2008. Don't judge me: Bianca didn't, ;-) And she is another reason why I will remain a loyal T-Mobile customer. read more

The representatives have a pleasant demeanor but are shockingly and fairly consistently incompetent. They also have a tendency toward making very specific lies to achieve their desired results (of customers either switching plans or finishing with a customer service issue of the moment). I strongly recommend avoiding this store if possible; however, if you do decide to go, make sure that you receive any plan change or promise IN WRITING before you leave! read more
