Great Overall. The Service is great, the selection is great, the price is great. T-Mobile has everything I need in a wireless carrier.

Here's the Scoop: Today I had to get my new phone setup so I went to TMobile. My husband and I had the sales representative Melvin help us. He was very efficient and patient. He was able to transfer my husbands data in no time. However because of the amount of information on my phone it took over an hour and a half. He was very patient and at times was servicing two customers at once. My husband and I wanted to buy him lunch after all he had done to get our new phones started. I couldn't believe how much information I had on my phone. I even had to delete some apps so my setup would go through. . We came into the store around 1:00 and left after 3. T-Mobile. Needs to give him an award for his courteous, efficient , patient and determined work efforts. He kept saying we're going to get this done. I've been coming to this location for years and other than the excellent service we received from Maraya who sold us the phones Melvin was excellent in the setup and persistent in finding a way to transfer my info. From this point on I will definitely ask or look for him if and when I need to return to T-Mobile for service. He's on his "A" game! read more

One star is still way too generous for this place. Worst customer service experience with Tmobile I've ever had. Walked in there yesterday to buy two SIM cards. I was nicely greeted by a gentleman on the left register who politely told me he would be with me in just a "moment". This made me smile and instantly remember one of the reasons why I love T-Mobile's customer service. After all, my over the phone experiences have always been nothing less than excellent. Store was not full so I patiently waited for 5mins. Then someone approaches me and hands me a clip board to put my name on, I wrote my name. Then an additional 15mins pass by and I'm wondering why I haven't been called. I approach another gentleman and informed him I was waiting and needed to know when I was next, then he tells me "we're going as fast as we can" but doesn't even ask me what it is I needed. All I wanted was two SIM cards! It's ridiculous that someone has to wait the same amount of time as new account openers, if they want a simple device case they picked out or buy two nano SIM cards. Poor management and careless employees, no one cared about how unhappy I was even after me telling them. I just left and went to the Hauppaugue store which actually cared, only waited 5mins..the way it should be. I'll never go to this store again. And unless you have endless amounts of free time, you shouldn't either. read more

This store is not worth one star, after today's visit i will never go back again. I came in because i needed troubleshooting on one of my lines. When we walked in we were greeted which was nice, waited less than a min before a gentlemen helped us, we went to sit and i explained my issue and he couldnt figure it out. He changed the sim card on the phone and still couldnt figure it out. At the end he said its the phone issue and we left the same as we came in without any resolved issues. While i was in the car i tried to figure out myself what else can i do? Then i thought of going to another Tmobile store. Traveled about another 20 min and i explained my issue, the lady took my phone, went into the settings and the guy from Central Islip Tmobile had put the wrong APN settings on the phone. She fixed it and less than 5 min we were out the store. This is my last visit to the Central Islip store, he was very helpless and had no idea what he was doing! read more
