I made it very clear to the clerk that I lived in Albany, wanted the phone fixed that evening, or I would have to go somewhere else. He charged me in advance, took all my personal information to gain access to my phone, told me to come back in an hour and a half, and when I did, told me he did not have the part, couldn't fix it, but had an awesome deal involving swapping my phone for a replacement that he assured me was much better. I refused, he pushed and said I was missing out on an awesome deal, refunded the money on my credit card, and I left. The next day I discovered that he had not even refunded the money correctly and had to make a 20 minute call to the credit card company to get compensated for the cost of tax that he had apparently planned to keep. BAH! Terrible experience. Next day I went to the i fixit in Colonie Center. No payment in advance, professional service, checked to make sure he had parts in advance, charged about 50$ less than the guy in Oneida had charged, and fixed it smoothly and quickly. So, I went to this store because AT&T had done troubleshooting over the phone for me, connected to…read moremy phone and told me I needed a new SIM card. Easy, right? I walked in and the girl behind the counter told me my SIM seemed fine. I told her, yes AT&T told me it was fine for some numbers, but the numbers I could not reach, which were my family, meant I needed a new SIM. She said OK, needed my ID and the last 4 of my SS#. No problem, gave her all that. But this is when the manager (allegedly) sauntered over and said 'Wait, is he out of contract?, wwhich Iwas. I had just paid off my phone, it's 2 years old. Works great, just having problems with some out of state numbers - myself father is sick and dying in the hospital 9 states away. I explained this to him. He took my phone from the salsperson, who had been very nice, and had her look to see if my contract was up. Then he proceeds to go through my apps, my pictures (which are private - wife, kids, private functions, clients) and starts deleting things. He tells me that half of my apps are spyware and that my developer mode shouldn't be on. Well, I am an app developer. The apps he tells me are bad are completely legit, I pay for subscriptions to them and they are recommended by the phone manufactuter. One of them is AccuWeather, one is MyRadar. One of them is my own app. He deletes Hulu because he claims that is spyware. Disney says no to this, lol. So after this nonsense he tells me I need a new phone; remember, he just found a out I have paid my contract. I tell him that I just need a new SIM, which AT&T sent me for. But guess what, the store is always empty and I think this guy needs a sale. So he says my phone is bad. I have 3 of these phones and they are all fine, except for some calls that won't complete for me. I tell him, please just the SIM AT&T sent me for. He tells me that I am being aggressive and he is the specialist and I don't know what I am talking about. I calmly tell him that I don't understand what he wants, but I just need a SIM. He says I am rude and I am on camera. WTF? Fine, I just need my SIM please. I have not been angry with anyone, but I need to fix this and get on a plane to go see my father. I ask to talk to someone else, maybe a manager. He tells me he owns the store and is the manager. This, I find out, is not true. Owner, please look at your cams and check this out. Your employee told me that to go to Verizon if I wasn't happy. Which I am now in the process of doing. Regardless, after a half an hour of his nonsense, he finally allows the young lady salesperson, who was very nice, to replace my SIM. This fixed my issue and let me get on the plane to go see my dying father. I ended up having to take a later flight because of him. Angry people like this should be kept in the back and not allowed to interact with customers. AT&T is going to lose a family of customers they have had for 24 years. If he was in my employ, I would have let him go long ago. There are plenty of nice people with good customer service skills looking for work. Why would you want your store to be empty because of an angry manager when you could keep it full if you had decent people working there? In my opinion, get rid of the nasty slackers and promote the good ones.

TWICE because their first screen they put it was an LCD and was…read morenot the right colors and refresh rate, atleast it came with a warrenty, but after replacing the old lcd with a "apple original screen" it CAME with burn in after i left the shop, i didnt mind it at first, but then after 5 months, it started to glitch out randomly, on the side flashing white, and than now i cannot even type on the screen, the colors are too bright and my screen is flashing. 329 dollars for some bs that i have to replace for the 3rd time. thanks.
