Had the worst customer service experience at the Monck's Corner T Mobile. Walked in to switch my plan from Verizon to T Mobile, have been eyeing a cheaper plan with the same quality of cell service. When I walked in to the store, all three of the associates were social media surfing on their phones, they did not bother to look up to see let alone greet a customer. The young girl who was burdened by assisting me, Trinity, could not nor did not understand when I said I wanted to compare plans and hardware side by side. I said I wanted a bottom line side by side comparison. She had no clue as to what I was asking of her. She tried to do a side by side back up of my contacts and pictures but failed miserably at the task. She couldn't even factory reset the phone when I agreed we'll just start from scratch with the new phone. I asked if she could call tech support to assist, she refused. I had to accomplish the factory reset on my own, which is not difficult but as a sales person you would think she would know how to do it. When I asked to see the manager, trinity told me that I would have to wait 30 minutes because her manager was eating her lunch in the back room. I called the 1 800 customer service number for T Mobile. I was told by customer service that I need the name of the sales associate, the name of the manager on duty, and the address of the store. When I called the store to ask for the name of the manager on duty, she (being the manager on duty) refused to give me her name and hung up on me. I waited a few minutes, called back but they employs refused to answer the phone. So I filed a complaint with the information that I had. The customer service rep from the 1 800 number said that she would follow up on this complaint. I'll give the customer service/ customer retention folks a chance before completely condemning T Mobile. And I will give the real store manager an opportunity to explain to me the actions of her people when I return the phone I was to use as a trade in for my new iPhone. But as it stands, If you want good customer service at a T Mobile location, avoid the evening shift at the Monck's Corner location. "Thank you for allowing me to assist you today! Terrible very slow. New guy didn't know what he was doing. Took over an hour and a half to switch from Verizon to T Mobile. One lady had her child running around the store. Back and forth through the door. The other lady walked off to help someone else in the middle of helping me. Didn't even get an "excuse me I will be back" and just left my phone with only 20% charge after I told her the charge was low. Didn't even bother to put it on the charger that I had plugged in after she walked away from me. I asked her to put it on diagnostics and she acted like she didn't even want to do that. Won't go to this location anymore. I'll drive 25 miles to the one in North Charleston next time :-/ read more

New store manager is amazing! Very knowledgeable and polite! Will definitely continue to bring my business to him.

First off, I would not recommend going with T-Mobile in the first place. Their service is horrible and their customer service is even worse, but if you must I would very strongly encourage not going to this store. The employees are so incompetent. They promised us two different promotions when they could only give us one. Then didn't tell us the full details of the promotion and now we are only getting half the line payoff we were initially promised. On top of that they are also not doing their buy one iPhone get one free deal either. The employees are so badly trained I have two different departments telling me opposite things. Buyer beware doesn't even come close to this store. Stay far away. read more
