I always give a convenience store a high mark when they have a large selection of energy drinks and waters that are hard to find (Perrier, Figi, Voss Springtime and Aqualibrium). These artesian mineral waters are better for us all than all these "purified" waters we find like Dasani and generic off-bands. Cigarettes were also under cost here at less than $4 a pack for both David and my different brands.

I had been on the road for a couple of hours on my way to a rental cabin at Lake Martin and popped in for some road snacks and a Coke Zero. What I found was a surprisingly great selection of beer and wine, snacks, and a very nice employee...and a helpfully talkative customer. I grabbed a couple of six packs, a couple of bottles of wine, some beef sticks and tater chips, then loaded up and hit the road.
