I came in looking for Converse sneakers because they're my go-to shoe, & I got 2 pairs here because prices were alright - one pair of high tops for $55, one pair of low tops for $50 - but received no interaction from any associates there until I went to cash out. Meanwhile where I tried on shoes, the middle clump of benches dead center in the store, was littered with other shoe boxes that hadn't been put back. One associate seemed to be trying to put some of them away, but still no acknowledgment from her either. If you know what you want, sure come stop here. This is the face of the mall situation in America, many store closures and vacant space. Only a couple anchor departement stores remain (Target, Sears, JC Penney, Dicks) and a movie theater. The Bon Ton has now closed as well. There are a few other businesses that can be interesting such as Bath and Body Works, Victoria's Secret and Planet Fitness gym however there isn't really much to spend money on. The mall is spread out and quite spacious however as you walk through the empty areas it just has a depressing vibe and doesn't entice you to stay inside. Unfortunately, because there aren't enough good stores to generate foot traffic, I suspect the smaller businesses will just keep on shutting down. There is only 1 restaurant and 1 fast food option a the tiny food court, so definitely don't plan to spend an afternoon here. I walked through the whole thing and was in and out in about half an hour. We later went across the street to Walmart and had a better time there. Aviation Mall is within proximity of a major tourist spot, it is unfortunate that it cannot be sustained.

The majority of the items come in a quilted pattern which isn't totally my jam, but I'm happy to see they are introducing more understated nylon bags in solid colors. The outlet always has some kind of sale going on. If you are looking for the best bargains, head to the clearance section in the back of the store, that's usually around 70% off and TONS of good deals on a variety of discontinued items. My husband, dogs and I are a huge fan of their blankets. They come in a variety of fun patterns, they usually run $15-22 depending on the deal at the time. I'm always putting them in the washing machine and they have held up well. We have also picked up some duffel bags at Vera and they are great since they can easily be washed. The store is on the smaller side, which can be awkward in pandemic times.
