This shop is still my absolute favorite. If I want a knockout dress or outfit, I go here. I've bought so many outfits and dresses from here and they're still in my wardrobe, not one piece has worn out! And Laura, the shop owner, is so so helpful. She even sends me a message whenever she sees something I'll like. Also, she now sells Pinupgirlclothing.com dresses which is amazing! She'll even order the dress you want in your size if she doesn't have it in store. Her customer service is above and beyond. There are two dressing rooms to make sure you love the items you're buying, as well. I highly recommend her shop. Top notch! read more

We stopped in this wonderful shop while attending the Adirondack Film Festival- and I'm so glad we did! The layout is perfection, Laura was so kind and welcoming. We discussed briefly my aunt's plans to have a shop just like this, and that right now she is battling cancer. I found Laura to be so compassionate towards my aunt's story, and she offered to lend her expertise to my aunt. The pieces she chose to have in her store were chosen with purpose, you could just tell. We purchased a beautiful vintage locket for my aunt, and we can't wait to return and find some other treasures. read more

So most recently my wife and I were up in Glens Falls for the 3rd annual Adirondack Film Festival, and while in between films, we had some time to venture around the town for a bit and see what local shops were in town and such; mostly because we have never been before! As we're strolling down the road, we come across this quaint little shop and we figure, why not stop in? Mainly because my wife's aunt has a goal to open a small little shop of her own. As we walk in, its literally the embodiment of not only clothing, but concept to what we've been talking about! Old standard posters (we're talking Fred and Ginger for those who know who they are) lining the walls, classic standards music gently playing over the speakers, really making it a relaxing atmosphere. While in the shop we browsed over the wide selection of classic garments (blazers, dresses, etc.) and the wide array of hats sitting up along the shelves by the top of the wall, and the corresponding hat boxes that sit carefully tucked away below. The owner Laura, was extremely friendly and welcoming, my wife and her had struck up a conversation about her aunts dream is to open a shop with the same decor and style! (Great way to start networking too, I might add ) I highly recommend stopping in and checking out the amazing selections! Will certainly be coming back again to see what's new! read more

This is a positively lovely vintage clothing and accessories store and the owner, Laura, is passionate and knowledgeable about her merchandise. I had been following the shop of Instagram for months and made a point of visiting Laura on a recent trip to upstate New York. The store is beautifully arranged and the condition of the clothing and accessories is pristine. Laura lovingly cares for everything she sells and she is an expert at matching garments to your size. I left with three truly show-stopper pieces and one jazzy belt, all of which I cannot wait to wear. From now on, no trip to Glens Falls will be complete without a visit to this shop. What a pleasant experience walking into Laura's Vintage. I have gone past the Shop in my car many times but I had decided today I was going to stop in and I am so glad I did. Walking into Laura's Shop is like going back in time looking and touching the clothes and recognizing their uniqueness. There was not one thing I touched that did not flood my mind with great memories of times shared with friends, Parents and Grandparents. This store is like a lovely museum of vintage postcards, trinkets, hats, clothing, accessories and so much more. Laura has a good eye and great taste in what she buys and displays -and the prices are very reasonable for her one of a kind pieces. I just bought a home there and am excited to have this sweet and special place so close to me. read more

Laura operates a beautiful, unique shop. She's sweet, helpful and completely knowledgeable re: her inventory. I bought a dress. Kind of pricey, especially because it's clearly a summer sundress and I purchased it at the end of Sept. ( not on sale ). Quality fabric and I love the dress but after I got it home I decided I liked it alot more on the hanger than on me. Attempted to return it the very next day, tags in tact, receipt in hand and Laura informed me that all sales are final. It does not state such on my receipt but she showed me a sign in the store which does. I've never heard of a retail store with this policy but........... buyer beware. I'm very disappointed but if that's her policy, so be it. read more
