However, there are a couple of factors to take into consideration. While it's true that you can find cheaper clothing elsewhere, how good is the material? How much time passes before it breaks, tears, becomes threadbare, or color drained? You can feel the quality of the clothes here, you can see it in the stitching. The patterns, and designs are distinctly unique, also; They have a sales rack in the back :-) That's where I headed and found the most gorgeous pair of pants. My friend also happened to find a gorgeous coat, and since the item was 75% off, I probably got my item cheaper than what it would have cost at a regular store. Service was exceptional. While we had the items we wanted to try on in our arms, an assistant quickly came over and got rooms ready for us. We didn't feel rushed or hurried. I waited for a few minutes while someone tried on the dress and then gave up and went outside. Shortly after, Alison came out and called me back in. The lady didn't like it so she held it for me to try on. Long story short, I loved it and bought it. Alison might've been one of the nicest employees of any boutique I've been in.

I have been vacationing in Saratoga for over 25 years and it is hands down one of my favorite upstate NY towns. I truly enjoy shopping on Broadway and usually meet friendly and engaging staff/owners. Sadly, this store is an outlier. Try as I might to give them a chance, they just keep on disappointing. On this occasion, a decidedly unfriendly middle aged sales woman went out of her way to be unwelcoming and literally made an effort to avoid me. Since I can get Anthropologie brands at an actual Anthropologie and I prefer shopping where I feel welcomed, I left.

Some designers they feature are: Alice + Olivia DVF Vince Citizens of Humanity Rachel Zoe Gold Hawk William Rast Elizabeth & James Michael Lauren Gentlefawn Art of Henri Alkemie MiH Left on Houston What I love: Local designer goods--unique, one of a kind, made from the heart. I also love the hats. The hats for racing season are outrageous and so fun to look at and try on! What I like: the quality of the clothing here is pretty good. They also have bathroom they allow patrons to use, thank god! The bathroom is standard and clean. Service: I only met two women who work here. One is the owner, she is very helpful, knowledgable, and efficient.... although she is not the warmest of people. The other woman is very sweet. Prices: prices are reasonable for the brands they are carrying. Overall would I come back? Perhaps, if the atmosphere would be a little more warm and welcoming.
