This time around my experience was way better than last time. They had so many sandals my size which made it hard to choose. So many shorts and clothing. And really cute Mother's Day selections, which made me feel relieved because I won't be rushing around next Month to find Mother's Day gifts because I got them in advance. I always thought that TJ Maxx was a womens' clothing shop. Having frequented a few of them in the Palm Beach area, that opinion soon dissolved. For some reason the store reminds me of Marshall's, I'll have to check on that. True, there are a lot of items for ladies but there are sections for kids and men. There seems to be a lot of discounts available because every rack appears to have "sale" items. Amidst all this one can see brand names. The physical layout of the store seemed somewhat shoddy. This is probably due to management not not caring enough. The staff appeared zombie-like. Maybe that was too harsh but they certainly were not smiling. They're probably very much underpaid. The clothes racks were in disarray. I did spend a half hour there and could not find what I wanted at TJ Maxx. Hopefully I will return with more of a positive tune. read more

hello Shoppers before I start my rant I just want to make it clear that I love TJ Maxx I shop here all the time especially because I am a huge perfume collector so I go to T.J. Maxx to find the best discounts for perfumes on the market November 8, 2019 was no different ... I go straight to the perfumes and I find angel muse 3.4 fluid ounces for only $50 !!! So I bought it and I was so excited.. I started opening the box while in the parking lot on my way to the car to my surprise I find a bar of soap inside of the perfume box!! So obviously I turned around I go back into the store and I go to the cashier the front desk and I asked them like what am I supposed to do about this and I was very calm and very polite and I was willing to get store credit I was willing to get my money returned or even an exchange for another perfume I wasn't arguing at all But I just paid $50 for a box of soap so I was pretty sure that they were going to just give me a solution right? Wrong! they proceeded to accuse me of stealing! To my surprise they were extremely rude and accused me of stealing ...the managers told me that they would not give me my money back and that I needed to leave the store and I had to write my name and my phone number ..so they can do an investigation and everything on me !!! I was at the store for over 30+ minutes going back-and-forth with the managers and the workers because I'll be damned if I left that store without my money !!! I proceeded to threaten to call the police so that the police can do their own investigation and get to the bottom of this!! it was at that moment when they told me that they would give me my money back but I had to immediately leave their store I did that ...but when I did i immediately called corporate and the district manager so that they could do their own investigation on the store but lesson learned of course my perfume was in a lockbox so I was not able to open and check while shopping but now I will always open and check at the register before paying the store my hard earned money let this be a lesson learned ...use my example ..always check your things before sliding that card in the machine because they really tried to steal my money and call me a thief!!!!!!! read more

I have never written a review of TJ Maxx have been shopping in stores in all locations for years. This store has absolutely no customer service. The manager is rude and the cashier was even more rude than the manager. I had an item to return with no receipt and no tags It was lunch bag so who keeps a receipt for a lunch bag?? The handle separated they didn't care at all. Exceptions can be made even if they said heres a ten dollar store credit. The rude cashier called the rude manager and they said something about me on the phone. Then I tried to tell them this policy was ridiculous. If she had one bit of customer service I was buying a suitcase take 10% off the suitcase that would have been a nice gesture!! The cashier rings up the suitcase and doesn't even say thank you. RUDE RUDE RUDE I will never go to this TJ Maxx again. read more

This store is a mess. I've never had problem with this store before, until a couple hours ago. I got an item in that store which had the tags switched, I notice it when I came home, went back to the store to try to return and they said I didn't buy the item there. They don't know what they have or what they don't have yet want to the customer pay for that. Not sure if I'm buying with them again which is a shame, because I used to love this store, but with this kind of treatment I don't know if it worth going back. The store manager Julie D (learn from the staff) is so indecent. She doesn't deserve to be a store manager. We don't understand why she is still a store manager after all these bad comments last year? If we had checked those comments before, we would have not visit this store. We had a very bad experience with the store manager Julie D (in case there is a new one now). We need to return an order which is missing parts. While the staff was processing the return, she instructed the staff not to process it and said the store only accepts returns of clothes! We replied that we didn't see it's mentioned in the policy and asked her how we can return but she just walked away as a way of looking down us, without explanation or saying anything. We waited for 5 minutes but she didn't come back so we asked the staff what was going on which the staff couldn't answer but kept saying sorry. We can believe this manager Julie D is that cruel and dishonest. If this manager has a human dignity, she should treat people in a human manner but I doubt it. I am thinking about filing a complaint but not sure if I should waste my time for a trash like her. Stay away from this store. If you must shop at a TJMaxx stores, there are many ones with better customer service I believe. read more
