Had my wheels refurbished three weeks ago they looked great at first but then I noticed I have two wheels chipped on the front both chips in roughly the same place. I went to the garage about this because this shouldn't of happened so soon the response I got was that it is my fault. And on closer inspection the passenger side has little bumps under the paint but am sure they will say that's my fault aswell. I went to a few other garages to get the take on it and all of them roughly said the same cheap paint or poor preparation work or both which to me sounds about right. This place is cheap for a reason I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. And for this to be my fault,what is it your not aloud to drive your car after this type of work has been done because that's the only thing I've done. They were the cheapest I found locally for part worn tyres and I thought I'd got a bargain. I had three tyres fitted there myself and a family member had another one. However one of the wheels had to go back once, and another had to go back twice because either the tyre hadn't been fitted to the rim properly, or the valve hadn't been fitted properly. One car had wheel wobble after it's front tyres were changed there. The wheels were eventually rebalanced by my usual garage who said they were both out. I also saw members of staff smoking whilst working under cars in the workshop. I've rated two stars because the staff were friendly and the prices were reasonable, however I can't recommend them given the number of problems I've had. read more

What a breath of fresh air to find someone who genuinely doesn't want to rip you off. Visited TES yesterday for the first time. Service was excellent, fast, friendly and first class. Had 4 pretty much as new Michelin tyres, tracking , leaking alloy problem, exhaust rattle. . All done for just over £100. Absolute bargain and feels like I'm driving a new car again. The lady was very polite and informative and on arrival I was welcomed by 3 smiling polite charming gentlemen who got on with the work immediately and had 2 tyres fitted in under 30 minutes at a fantastic price !! Tried this company as got told of a friend they were well priced and have 100s of part worn tyres on the shelf and hand to be honest I've taking better tyres off my car they were as bald as my head and there were a women who works there at entrance door smoking away like they were going out of fashion the place were like a smoke machine thought I was at a disco so decided to go to Martin rd tyres had to pick 1 star but to be honest I wouldn't give them any read more

Travelled to Stockton to collect new car on which the selling garage had not bothered to replace a tyre as agreed. They sent me to TES where the day got more interesting as the keys got locked inside the car. Lee had it sorted in no time and took me to local main dealer for replacement key. Called in for a new tyre fitting to my car, Im not usually keen on going into garages because as a woman Im usually treated as if Im a wee bit slow, but here, no problems. The guys were helpful, friendly and knew what they were doing. The tyre was fitted in no time and I was more than happy with the price I paid. I would definitely recommend this place. Excellent service. Have been twice with tyres that deflated, they were checked but found no puncture and i wasnt charged anything. Had a back box replaced today, i was in and out in 15-20mins, friendly staff that got on with the job. Found them on internet. Phoned them at 2.51 pm. Got a really good price. Drove straight there 3.5 miles, had 3 tyres fitted and the tracking done, paid the bill at 3.30 pm and was home by 3.45 pm. How unusual is that these days? On top of that, I was treated in a friendly, polite manner. Will definitely be returning in the future. read more

The staff's assessment of my tyres was very good, the experience and ability to communicate and use it was impressive. It took very little time to change or repair my 3 tyres, facilities were ok, with a nice car tyre clock and sweets for charity; I'de certainly go back and intend to do so. read more
