I've always found them to be the cheapest in the area and they carrry a huge stock of parts and if they haven't got it they can generally get it the next day. They also keep a good stock of all those annoying clips, washers, o rings etc that always stop you from finishing the job. They also make up brake pipes while you wait. And that's the best thing I can find to say about this shop! OK, for those who care, they do sell lots of useful things for fixing or cleaning your car. They sell bikes and satnavs and other bits and bobs, too. However,the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. A couple of years ago I bought a satnav as a Christmas present and made a point of asking if it would be ok to return it if I had bought the wrong one (as it was to be a surprise and I didn't want to spoil the surprise by asking which model my husband actually wanted). Anyway, I was assured there would be no problem with returning it. And yet, when I did try to return it, the manager refused point blank to allow me to return it. It was a nightmare and we ended up having to involve head office (who were more understanding). However,the damage was done and I have never shopped in Halfords since.

They always give you an honest quote and i've always found it very reasonable. The guys in the garage are friendly and being a lady they dont talk down to me or treat me like i'm stupid as most garages would.
