Magda's Cakes in Stockton, CA…read more I have eaten a lot of their tres leches cakes and cookies over the years. A family member has brought these cakes to many family events over the years. Our extended family let es these cakes. Lactose intolerant me pops a pill and indulges. Albeit it's a small piece considering it's a tres leche (three milk). The cake is a sponge that has a milky sweet flavor, moist sponge but not soggy. They have different frosting flavors. I've tried the chocolate, vanilla, and a coffee tasting frosted tres leches cakes. Mmm. The cakes are a visual work of art. So darn pretty. The design varies. The cake decorating looks professional. They also sell cookies. Yum! Those little sweet apple filled empanadas are quite tasty as well. I've never stepped foot into their shop.
