During my vehicle purchase, the sales representative, Nelson Pineda Rodriguez, in direct collusion with a third-party entity called Legend Services, ran an insurance scam under my name. ​I was illegally charged an unauthorized fee of $350.00 USD under the false pretense of a "down payment" for an auto insurance quote. Here are the facts: ​Document Forgery: They generated an insurance quote and stamped a signature in my name without my authorization, knowledge, or legal consent. This is blatant identity theft and forgery. ​Stolen Funds: My actual auto insurance provider later confirmed that they never received a single penny of this $350.00 payment. The money collected at Toyota of North Miami was completely pocketed and unaccounted for, forcing me to pay my full premium separately to my real insurer. ​Unlicensed Activity: To make matters worse, I discovered that the individual operating on behalf of Legend Services at the dealership does not even hold a valid, active insurance agent license in the State of Florida. ​Operating an insurance brokerage without a license, forging customer signatures, and taking money under false pretenses are serious criminal offenses. A formal Demand Letter has already been sent to management, and complaints are being filed directly with the Florida Department of Financial Services (DFS), the Office of the Florida Attorney General, and local law enforcement. ​Do not trust this dealership.
