The house is gorgeous and has many fine details, including exceptional woodwork. The living area and sun room are cozy spots to enjoy a glass of wine and conversation. The rooms (5 total) each include a private bathroom and an extremely comfortable bed. Breakfast in the morning was outstanding, as well. We had bacon, eggs, toast, and homefries. If you're going to the casino, as we were, it is only 2 miles down the road. Do yourself a favor and stay here if you're in the area. For me, I'll take a well-maintained, cozy 100-year-old home over a hotel room any day.

The lady who helped us was fantastic - she gave us a quick history about the area, directed us to a few points of interest that we could hit during the rest of the day and gave us some great insights on the Allegheny National Forest, where we planned to spend two days backpacking. She also gave us recommendations for lunch and dinner - both of which were SPOT ON - and told us about the free parking behind the. She loaded us up with maps, highlighted the best routes for us to take, and was just so energetic and pleasant that it made us that much more excited to start our exploration of Bradford, the Kinzua Bridge, and the Allegheny National Forest. We were back in the back part of the campground and the directions she did give us were to back into our site, which made it a little tricky, but my husband managed it. We were on site 62. The sites were heavily wooded in the back, which was nice because it provided a lot of shade and was mostly quiet. I will say that the Electric post are very low to the ground and ours was 30 amp, but it didn't come with a 110 V which was kind of frustrating and it seemed like the 110 V didn't work on our friend's site so we had to use another friend's site. We purchased our wood from them and it was super wet and it was difficult to burn so I would also recommend as another reviewer said to get your wood offsite until this is more seasoned. It appears as though they are putting a lot of work into this campground, and I imagine more improvements will come as they continue to work through everything.

The lights in the one bedroom just didn't work. It's humorous at this point.
