Key cutting is good, but what about handbags..? Not one bit…read more Handbag repair was NOT satisfactory. Why they have "Bag Repair" advertised is beyond me... 1) Inner lining was stitched to the outside (when it was specifically stated it wouldn't happen) 2) Stitching was VERY poorly done and is falling apart after just one hour of use! The stitching was even unfinished on one handle. 3) Stitching was done in white thread and not the same colour as the other thread (the white thread is visible where the poor, loose stitching was done) 4) The customer service was not good. He (man wearing glasses) looked unhappy to deal with us as customers. We honestly felt unwelcome even being in the store. He even had another (less stressed out) man working there who seemed to be apologising for his (glasses man) behaviour. This does not constitute a professional environment in my opinion. 5) It was not made clear by him (glasses man) when the bag would be ready, as he didn't specify on paper or take our phone number to contact us, and we ended up having to return more than a few times to check when the bag would be finished. He said "I thought I said Saturday?" when, in fact, he made Thursday the pick-up day, in an attempt to make an excuse. My wife and I feel upset, not entirely because the bag was poorly done, but because the entire experience left us feeling "uncomfortable" for even being customers. Overall, not a professional atmosphere, and we would not recommend this store for any type of bag repair (especially if it is delicate in its construction) I could have bought a sewing kit and done a better job myself.

I wanted to be a coconut seller in the Caribbean but alas. 6:30am - "Time to get the party prep ready. Uh oh spagehetti-o my car is clamped." 6:35am - Get taxi to storage place. 7:30am - After I paid €80 I got a delightful text message from Dublin County council. "Your vehicle has been declamped. Please drive safely." Ugh. 8:30am - Walk to declamped car. "Where the hell are my keys?" Get taxi back to storage unit, not there. Call receipt of first taxi. Bogus taxi driver. Call gardaí... "Hmm this is fishy there are several people registered under this taxi license and no contact info." 9:30am: Taxi man from heaven, Willie Price, calls locksmith Ken. "Ken all the wine for my event tonight is in that car. I also need that car to transport everything." 11:00am "Annie this car is breaking my heart I am going to have to shut the whole computer down." "It has a computer?" "Eh yeah..." "Just do it Ken I need the car!" "It will cost more." "Do it!" 11:45am: €230 poorer but with 2 sets of keys, one set which my boss takes and decides where to put it in my house as I'm too scatter brained. Ken saved the day. Without Ken I would have ran far away from the Science Gallery and got a new identity. Thank you Ken.

This is super handy shop. You may get a lot of things done in here. Need insoles? Got it. Need keys…read morecut? Done. Need something engraved? Just say the phrase. Need to repair you watch? Cheapest shop you can find in city centre. I was looking for 377 watch battery, which costs €1 on eBay. All other shops were asking €10 for a tiny 377 type of battery for my old simple watch that 15 years ago cost me €22. This is insane! Anyway, went through several shops in city centre until I found this helpful simple shop. They sold me battery for €5 without bargaining. I'd say could paid maybe €3-4, but that's fine. They have to to living as well, don't they? As I said, pop in there, if you need anything small done. They do more stuff that I written.

They even sell an assortment of random items like zippo lighters. I'm giving them 4 stars for the great job they did engraving my knives. For about 5 euro each, I had 1/2 dozen knives perfectly engraved in a nice scripture (you can pick from a large assortment of fonts). Major points for doing the engraving while I waited (took less than 20 minutes). I researched a few jewelers and they all wanted 1 to 2 days to do the same type engraving.
