I've always seemed to prefer Szechuan as Dragon King I feel overly fries everything, but to each their own. I love Szechuan Panda's General Tso's Chicken which is my favorite go to Chinese dish, but their egg foo young, garlic shrimp, ginger chicken, lo mein, all of it has always been really good. If you don't like the overly fried, oil heavy food at Dragon King, I recommend giving Szechuan Panda a try. read more

We ordered delivery from here a few days ago and everything came hot and fresh. It was packaged neatly and carefully. They gave us every sauce we might need including duck sauce! The food was so good too. My husband ordered the broccoli beef which had carrot and water chestnuts in it as well (I was excited cause I love water chestnuts!) it was really saucy too and a large portion. I got the Tai Chien chicken which I thought would be fried and it wasn't but still very delicious! Also very saucy lots of veggies too! We got cream cheese wontons too they were deliciously crunchy but didn't have enough filling in my opinion still bomb though! Can't wait to try more! My daughter and husband went to dine in at Szechuan a couple days ago and had nothing but great things to say originally. I wasn't a fan of the take home food they brang home but they liked it The service they said was great except the random man that works there watching them the entire time they ate. Well today we woke up to a finalized charge from them and they'd helped themselves to an extra 5 dollars after offering my husband a military discount. It's just 5 dollars.. but it's the sneaky principle of it all.. not only is it ILLEGAL but it's shady as all outside. Why offer a military discount .. then up the price after the transaction was completed. We've eaten here a few times and the food is decent. Pretty typical Chinese food and average service. Our biggest complaint is that the first time we got takeout, there was a staple, with sharp points, sitting right on top of my wife's food. We picked the staple off and then ate cautiously thereafter. I figured chicken wings and some mango stick rice would be easy. Wings were fine, fried, and fresh. I wish they had called and said there's no such thing as a ripe mango in February. Instead, I got a funny lump of rice, kinda brown, not like the pics on doordash, and instead of a touch of salt and coconut cream, I don't think it had a flavor, and it was a bit hard. It came with something sweet I thought was maple or brown sugar syrup, but I wasn't sure. The mango was humorously rubbery from being frozen. It was impossible to chew. I loved this palace about 5 months ago. I'm sure Covid has changed a lot of businesses and I am all for supporting local. Unfortunately if the food takes such a drastic turn I don't know if I can support them. The quality of food the last 2 times we ate from here was extremely different. The fried rice had nothing except soy sauce. No egg or if there was, I couldn't find it and also no veggies. The lemon chicken was good. The sauce comes on the side and is really watery. The flavor was good so I wasn't too disappointed. Their cream cheese rangoons have sadly also suffered in quality. Lunch price is good. The food is average at best. My no msg shrimp lo mein was good, but the egg roll and wonton weren't so great. Hubby was not impressed with his kung pao. Thursday night.. busy day at work, needed to feed family fast! Came home and ordered at 6:30pm. I did order online cause it's convenient. Got an email stating delivery for 7:30.. still hoping it would be sooner than that given it's not the weekend and we live 3 miles away. It wasn't until 8:18pm that our delivery finally arrived! When I called at 7:45, asking about it. He said it would be 15 more min due to my ordering online and not calling. I'm very irritated because I don't think online vs phone.. it shouldn't matter where I ordered and it shouldn't take almost 2 hours. This place needs to be better about online orders obviously. Order take out last night. Ordering was very convenient to do online and really enjoyed the convenience, although I wished there were more descriptions for the items. We order beef lo mein, pork fried rice, chicken satay and wontons. We enjoyed everything but the fried rice. Our order didn't have much egg and the pork was questionable. Everything else was very tasty though. The bill wasn't extremely expensive and delivery time was under an hour. Which are both pluses for take out Chinese. DON'T GO HERE. Find any other Szechuan restaurant in the area. I've been going here for about three years, ordered the same dishes every time. Two days ago I went and when I got home and tried the Beef Chow Fun, the meat was so disgusting my boyfriend and I immediately spit out our first bite. It was a taste that's hard to describe but you know what it is if you've had bad meat before. They had closed a few minutes after I left the restaurant, so I couldn't call them. I was at work all day the day after and also couldn't call them. I finally called them today and they were super rude on the phone and immature. I heard the employees joking in the background on the phone, then they told me they won't do anything for me because I didn't return it that day?!?! We ordered 3 dishes plus egg rolls and fried cheese wonton for delivery yesterday evening. Delivery was prompt and we received everything we ordered. Unfortunately though, the delivery was the best component of the process. One of the dishes - sweet and sour pork - had the pork and onions, but no pineapple nor peppers. The flavor was pretty much the sweet-and-sour sauce and fried pork chunks. Another dish - cashews with shrimp - tasted only like the same dark sauce as was used in the kung pao chicken dish. The cashews and shrimp dish had no real taste to them. The pork in the sweet and sour pork dish, egg rolls and wonton were all fried in old oil - old enough to leave an aftertaste in our mouths. The fried rice was also very plain with little taste to it, as other reviewers have experienced. For the 3 main dishes, and two orders of egg rolls (cheese wontons were included free), we paid $52 plus tip. So they weren't all that cheap, especially considering the quality of the food. With so many options for Chinese food, we will probably not order from Szechuan Panda in the future. read more

We ordered general Taos chicken which was very chewy, mu shu chicken which want too bad but was given tortillas with mold on the edges clearly visible and they still have them to us, the steamed rice was way over done and had absolutely no flavor at all. The only good thing in the order we're the egg rolls. We usually order from easy dragon in security blvd because there food is the best ever, but they were far too busy and we were Hungary. Okay, so it definitely isn't the best Asian restaurant ever... but there are only a couple near by and we enjoy their food. We especially love their combination dinner that comes with an egg roll, wonton, chicken wing, and soup. For $14 we get enough food for leftovers the next day. I love their Tofu with vegetables, it's full of flavor and the tofu has great texture. However, their general tso's was pretty awful last time. They were so tough, dry and overcooked. I ordered $40 in carry out food for me and my family of 4 and found a small, black, curly hair in our sweet and sour pork. None of us ate any of the food. I called them, told them that I would bring ALL of the food back and that I wanted a refund for everything BUT the sprite I bought because I didn't trust the REST of the food. The man I spoke to told me that he would not refund me my money and basically told me that I was lying because nobody else had ever said that about their restaurant. I LOVE Szechuan Panda!!! I have been getting Amazing Vietnamese and Chinese Food here for 18+ Years!!! I had really only had many Vietnamese dishes when I first went, "back in the day," so, I hadn't tried many of their Chinese dishes...well, they still have some Vietnamese dishes, but not the one I was addicted to, so, I have begun trying more of their Chinese dishes, recently. I have to say, that I was very worried about the quality of their main entrées, so, when I called a few evenings ago, not sure of all of dishes we wanted, I had a lot...A LOT of questions, and ALMOST everyone would be impatient or frustrated, but, I spoke with Sam, and he was WONDERFUL!!! He gave me several recommendations, was honest answering my questions, and he made me SO much more comfortable with both of those topics. And, I have to say, he knows his, "stuff," because every single appetizer, soup, and even the entrées (because, I have found that many Chinese restaurants can do well, even great with appetizers and soup, but, be terrible with the entrées) were EXCELLENT!!! I simply cannot say enough great things about Szechuan Panda, their Staff, service, and their food are terrific! The fiance' and I pick this place because the Dragon King was close for New Year's. There were a handful of people waiting for their take-out and a couple of people in the restaurant. We guessed it was a family-run restaurant since there was a little girl helping in the front with take-out deliveries and a little boy run in and out of the kitchen. We met the waitress three- times ( I'm guessing the mother). She also did not give us the correct dish. We waited for about 25 minutes and didn't feel like waiting anymore so we kept the dishes that she gave us. I order the dinner Lo Mein with brown rice.
