I was extremely impressed with my first-time experience with System Pavers. My wife and I wanted to redo our driveway as well as the walkways that connected the front door, side gate & path that connected to our new driveway. Throughout the entire process, he found the employees of System Pavers to be honest, knowledgeable, hard-working, accessible and professional. Our initial meeting with our design consultant Mike Shanas went very well. Mike had very creative ideas which helped make our renovation even better than we imagined. In tearing down our existing walkways, there was a large section of existing pavers that were installed by a non-professional. Instead of hauling away the pavers, Mike suggested repurposing them by building a path between our raised drip planters in the enclosed garden in our back yard. While I shopped for other bids, I did find companies that would complete my project for less, but Mike pointed out that SP had a 25 year warranty on labor & installation, while other bids only covered 2 years. More importantly, Mike mentioned that the competing bid incluuded cutting the slab of our garage without checking to see if it was part of a "post wire tension system". Cutting into a garage slab that is part of that type of foundation setup could have compromised the entire foundation of our house! Once we signed with System Pavers, the actual construction was turned over to our Project Manager, Cesar Alvarado and his Construction Forman Paulino. I found to Cesar to be extremely knowledgable throughout the entire process and unlike construction crews I have worked with in the past, he was always immediately available and responsive to any question or concern I may have. Paulino and his crew were diligent workers and paid meticulous attention to every detail and their results were nothing short of amazing! We contacted System Pavers due to our front planter being built too close to a transformer box by the previous owners. The required space from our planter to the box was a minimum of 36 inches (this part is important) The salesman John was absolutely confident it could be done. Re-do the planters? YES! No problem. Keep intact the existing irrigation system? YES! No problem. Initial quote was higher than we would have liked, but the design was amazing and the products looked awesome. Estimated time to complete..... one week, starting 7/3/24. Everything looked great. We decided on a few extra cinder blocks, and some lighting ..... again, more expensive than we thought, but it sounded like it would be stunning. Time to wrap up the project , about 10 days later, so we decided to measure just to make sure we were in compliance with Edison..... and the wall is 34 inches from the transformer box. AND, sprinkler lines that "we promise are working " were actually cut lines stuck back in the ground (like we would not notice?) So, we get the crew out to move the wall, which was not a design change but a complete measurement error. They obviously sent out the B team.... The wall is now crooked, with mismatched blocks. Ok, let's do this again....... We are now one month into the project from hell, and are out a ton of money for new irrigation. Third times the charm! All done, looks great. Asked for a breakdown of ALL costs, because something is not adding up..... they are charging US for the moving of the wall that THEY MISCALCULATED! So disappointed in this whole process, feel duped, and the whole thing now feels remarkably like buying a used car! Promised the world, asking repeatedly for "great reviews" and it was a mess. Avoid this company! Too many headaches and cost overruns! read more

We hired System Pavers because we thought they were a reputable company. Our house was cited by SC Edison because the previous owner built a wall too close to the electrical box. Jon Arnett was the salesman, he came out to our house, he was very helpful, we explained what we needed them to do and he came up with a beautiful design. We explained to him that we had existing irrigation we wanted to keep and the whole project needed to be built around the wall that needed to be moved 3 feet back, and 3 feet to the right away for the Edison box. During the end of the project we added lighting to the planters, and an extra cinder block (about 30 feet approximately, I measured). They had us sign for the additional charges. Then when the project was complete we measured the distance to the wall from the box. The wall was built too close to the box- 34 inches. We talked to the project manager, and the wall needed to be moved. They moved the wall. During the project we noticed that existing plumbing we had for irrigation to the planters had been cut off and replaced back in the ground like they were working (we hired a landscaping company to correct that problem). Here is my issue with the reputable company- System Pavers, they charged us for the mistake their crew made with the wall when they had to move it, and tried to explain it away as being part of the change order. I would not recommend doing business with this company. They can make your new project look beautiful, but beware, don't do any additional work, and check the project everyday. I would suggest taking the time off work so you can supervise every step of the work. read more

We started our journey with System Pavers 1 year ago, and we couldn't be happier. Brandon was assigned to our case and he is extremely patient and knowledgeable about the work that is about to be performed. Do to personal circumstances beyond on our control, we had to push our project out 1 year. When we reached out to Brandon to pick up where we left off, he reach outed to his manager to not only get the pricing back that we originally got, but also to include the money we put towards the project and provide additional savings. Once we confirmed the project we met with our project manager Cesar who explained in detail what the crew was going to be doing for our project. He also went into detail about deliveries, expected date of completion, and any work they may not cover such as additional vendors we may need to reach out to cover the warranties on our home. Cesar has been very transparent and patient. He also reached out to his contractors on off hours to confirm that all plans would proceed as scheduled. We are so happy that we found System Pavers. I am confident that our initial interaction with System Pavers will surpass our expectation once the work is completed. We are very excited to move forward with them. read more

I bought a home where the backyard flooded in heavy rain, had an unsightly greenish concrete slab and broken old pavers. I called it the deadzone. I wanted a highly reputable company to fix this once and for all (next 25 yrs) . Brandon came out to do the design consult and I gave him my requirements ( which included being able to work with my gardening plans) and with his expert guidance we selected the right paving solution and drainage that would fix flooding, provide a safe and aesthetically beautiful entertainment area and safer path in and out of the property. Brandon also attended my community HOA meeting with me at my request and walked them through the process. They approved it immediately. Jose Gonzales, the Project Manager and Rivera completed the work in under a week. They were very responsive to my needs and made adjustments easily. As a person who works from home, there was minimal to no interruption. I am astonished and proud at the transformation created by the System Pavers and believe this is one of the best investments I've made here. System Pavers did a great job from start to finish. Alex Saenz, our design consultant was very knowledgeable and worked with us on our ideas for the job. Cesar, the project forman, was always in touch on what would happen next and was checking on progress constantly. Can't say enough about the workers who were always on time, and even early, and did a great job. They took great pride in their work and it showed with the results of our patio and wall. It took 5 days to complete the job, even when they had to deal with a little unexpected rain. Cleanup was done everyday and very thoroughly. We are more than pleased how the whole process went along. Kim, our project manager, was very helpful and when we needed changes or add-ons to the project it was done in a timely manner. The portal they use for information and payments was easy to follow and very helpful. It was a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for, and I am more than pleased with the whole project. I had the "independent contractor" experience on a few projects but was sick of the communication inconsistency and unwillingness to back the work. I wanted a professional experience and a service guarantee. I contacted System Pavers and Jon came out and spent extensive time with us. He helped design my backyard with some basic ideas I had, and spent the next week or so refining it. Once we got down to business, project manager Wade Capps helped to make sure all of the trades knew exactly what we wanted. We had to make some adjustments. It was not a problem, they worked with us. I recently had pavers and a backyard patio done. System pavers has the best team come out to us and help us with our project. Everything is done professionally and perfectly. They are realllllly fast and efficient. They helped me with all the paperwork involved with the city and HOA. For the quality of work, we felt like the pavers were the same as the ones we see at the parks like Disneyland. We are extremely happy for their work and how they took care of everything. I was at work when the project continued and I did not have to worry at all. The team including Mike, Cesar, John, Sonny made sure to keep open lines of communication with us all the time. They got their contractor's license in 1992 and to me that was a testament to their quality and customer service motto. After contacting them I met Mike Shanas who came out on time and prepared to show me his products and how they would fit into my design vision. Their price was fair but their warranty went above and beyond the competition. This company has a team that supports you through the project. The next person I met was Cesar Alvarado who is my Project Manager and in charge of assuring that all of my ideas turn into reality. He provided excellent guidance and communication both during the visit and in follow ups. System Pavers replaced our 100 year old CONCRETE, CURVED walkway nearly twenty years ago. After last years's rains a section of the walkway near one of our huge cypress trees began to lift. Because of our positive experience with the initial finished product, we were in agreement that we would only use System Pavers for the repair. Cesar Alvarado was our lead; he promptly gave us a fair bid and helped us navigate the new (compared to 20 years ago!) technology used to manage our contract safely and efficiently. Paulino and his crew were expert from the start. Carefully removing the pavers, they cut out multiple small roots and one as large as ten inches in diameter and the width of the walkway.
