This one is a nice go-to and we were impressed with our first experience. It has a modern, up-to-date feel and a lot of space between tables. Our waitress was attentive, though couldn't personally recommend a cocktail because they can't drink there(?) I think it's good to have the wait staff sample the drinks and entrees. That way they can describe a flavor or recommend something based on the someone's individual tastes. The food was great. I got the fish and chips and my girlfriend got a burger. The fish filet was large and fried really well. The drinks were good, especially the margarita. We'll go back in the future.

The hotel restaurant at the Radisson in Wayne, Indiana was surprisingly satisfying. Visiting for a…read morefriend's wedding, our group made several stops to the bar between ceremony, reception, and the next day's catered brunch. Our bartender was great, able to handle large groups and incredibly patient for the long hours he seemingly worked. [He served us during intermittent visits between three in the afternoon and three in the morning. Hope he gets some overtime]. I first ordered a Negroni, which the bartender mixed with Aperol. This sin probably lies on me, as I did not notice the bar did not carry Campari. I quickly switched to a gin martini which helped me overcome the error in judgment. As a group, we didn't order much in terms of food, but the sweet potato fries were a highlight item. The bartender brought us extra sauces for dipping alongside the 'brown sugar aioli'--not an 'aioli' but delicious trumps nomenclature, I suppose. Our excitement for the late night return was curbed by the kitchen's closure. The bar did a great job keeping the party lubricated with alcohol and handled an influx of guests when a second wedding party sharing the hotel arrived for a whiskey-fueled raucous. The next morning's service--first we experienced with a new staff--was disheveled (not unlike our group) and the bar was unprepared to mix hangover-staying Bloody Marys. The bar does not open at the same time as brunch begins, so we were seated at a table while we waited for the beverages. The drinks were almost certainly made with a pre-packaged Bloody mix and somehow took nearly twenty minutes to prepare. The breakfast cocktail, the staple of a hotel restaurant's bar fare, was a big disappointment. Expectations at a hotel restaurant and bar should always be middling, and our experience at RBG fell within our expectations.

After which she started a tab, as usual. The owner/bartender then after running around doing other things came behind the bar. Very rudely I could hear him asking the waitress who I was and if I was O.K. She said yes and after sitting awhile waiting to order another drink, he finally gave me one. He then said my pizza was done and closed my tab out. Two beers and a large pizza. Since I was talking to other patrons, I ordered another beer and paid cash for it. He took the $2.75 for the beer but never gave it to me. I finished the beer I had and then asked for the one I paid for. He said he already gave it to me and the thru a baby tantrum and banged his hand off the counter yelling explicit words and names toward me. He then went to the Kitchen and grabbed my pizza throwing it at me still calling me the explicit names. I told him to check his cameras and he would see his mistake. Instead, he still kept calling me names as I left. I returned home to kids wanting some pizza only to find the pizza inedible due to what appeared to be several wads of spit on my pizza. Needless to say, I had to throw the pizza away and order another one from a different pizza shop. So, my adventure to try the new owners out, not only cost me getting ripped off the price of the beer and being called explicit names, I then had the cash loss off the spit pizza and had to waist time and gas to get another one from elsewhere.

Middle of nowhere goodness…read more Yeah, I think that sums it up. Just kidding, I must review this gem of a place. When you hear of a place in Moss Creek (pronounced mosscrick to the locals), your hopes don't usually go all that high. That was me when mentioned I would be dining here for the evening. Man, was I wrong about this place. The atmosphere inside is great. The room feels big and it is bright on the inside. No dark and dreary here. Wood gives it the feel that you are in a sportsman lodge. Seating is either at the bar or pick a table around the area, just not the pool tables. I opted for the bacon cheeseburger and loaded fries. When I was informed by members of my party that you won't be able to finish them, I doubted what they were saying. When my food arrived, I could see why they said that. The loaded fries are a plate to itself, and piled high with toppings. Cheese, sour cream, green onions, green peppers, bacon, and I'm sure I'm missing some toppings here as they were loaded. The burger was quite possibly one of the best burgers I have ever tasted, and I'm not just saying that. Cook perfectly to my liking, the bacon was crispy, toppings fresh and no need to add anything to it. As far as the bar aspect, they know what they are doing here, that being said, you are not going to find all the fancy beers you would at a bar situated in a more populated area. So stick to the basics here. They also have the capability to make plenty of mixed drinks. Make sure to use your GPS to get here, but believe me, it's worth it.

Fist, let me say, I apologize. I take no comfort in writing bad reviews…read more I drive 40 minutes to Luigi's Restaurante about 2 times a year. I like the place. We got the 2 for 1 spaghetti special--spaghetti, meatball, salad, nice bread for $15. It was o.k. Everything was good but the spaghetti and sauce was mediocre. I shrug--2 for $15 what do you expect? Five dollar tip for an even $20--I'd call that waitress night. I'm guessing most people leave that. We parked besides Luigi's Pizza, and their placard said 1/2 price night--XL pizza--$7. After dinner I had to order a pie. I'm perhaps a sucker for 1/2 price dinners. They give you a choice of deep dish or thin, and I ordered a plain thin. How else to judge a pizza place? I've always believed pizza was like sex, even bad pizza is pretty good. Having had many pizzas' over 60 plus years--supermarket frozen, locals, high end, carnival pizzas--this was the worse. Sort of thin crust. Also, thin sauce and cheese. No taste. Just a pizza in the most minimal way. There were people coming in and out continuously picking up pies. Maybe for little kids who shout "Oh boy, pizza! Maybe I didn't know a secret word that would have transformed everything. I could forgive it for being a bad night for a restaurant, but it was a pizza place and I'm guessing the high school kids just follow the recipe directions. The people were very helpful, thus the one star. Instead of coming back in 6 months, it will probably be 9 months. Maybe things will change. I'm rooting for you, Luigi's.
