Upon discharge from a skilled nursing facility, my father was ordered some Durable Medical Equipment (DME). Wheelchair, bedside commode, walker. All the tools he needs to be safe at home. These orders have to go through the doctor and insurance for approval. It's ludicrous to send patients home without these DMEs though. I started working with Alex and Rizza. He was very helpful. We had many calls with them and the doctor's office to try to get paperwork corrected. Alex and Rizza were very patient and reminded that doctor's office many times exactly which page needed to be corrected. Both Alex and Rizza kept me updated, worked with me after day and calling the doctors office. At the end, we finally got what we needed. A huge thanks to Alex and Rizza for keeping the patients in the forefront and pushing through the bureaucracy.

Monday came and I was not 100%. Xray time! I am so not fine but nothing broken and no need for surgery. Urgent care suggested a visit here for supplies. There was drama in the tunnel! Drama! I made it to the island with 6 minutes to spare. However, parking karma was barely with me. I phoned from around the corner. The lovely gentlemen said they'd stay open for me and that I could use their sole parking space! Once inside they didn't rush me through selection and purchase. They measured equipment and everything. Very caring individuals. The place was neat and spacious. Very chill experience.

If you suffer from real or disabling foot pain, Pacific Medical Prosthetics is the place that I really MUST recommend to you. The orthotics that they made for me maybe six or seven years ago were perfect!! I really had never felt such a relief from my crippling foot pain before!! I sometimes would go somewhere and just couldn't make it back to the car because I was so disabled from the sharp pains in my toe joints. After having a very long career as a registered nurse and being on my feet all the time there is a lot of damage to my feet. The staff at Pacific Medical Prosthetic were so professional and knowledgeable that they properly measured my gait and impressions for my feet and made an amazing shoe insert specifically for ME! I could finally WALK AGAIN!!!!! I have been successfully wearing these orthotics for years. I just went to my regular doctor to get a pair of orthotics, covered by my insurance which they were, but they're so painful to wear and I don't know why. So, I am back to Pacific Medical Orthotics to get them to CREATE a new pair for me. It's really a craft for them and they do an amazing job. Since I'm about to leave for vacation at the very same ocean, i went to 7 medical supply places looking for a waterproof boot cover. I wouldn't have had to go to some of these places if anyone actually answered their phone. Soooo, nobody carries boot covers, in spite of the fact that our city is surrounded by water on 3 sides, and Amazon has plenty to choose from. The lady at the desk, despite being on the phone, immediately acknowledged my existence & asked me to wait a minute. I looked around and they seemed pretty well stocked with a lot of items I didn't see in the other stores. Weeks later I called them and they said they had no record of the order, but then the billing clerk backtracked and said she remembered the order, but they were out of supplies and not accepting new patients (because "we would not have enough supplies for our current patients"). Next she informed me they don't deliver in my area anyway (14 miles away from their location). Very unfortunate it took several weeks to get this information. I will let Medicare know they are not accepting new patients, since my insurance company is still referring to them. Very bad customer service. Clear they don't care about their customers at all.

In that time we got a rental at the Six Flags itself which btw was cheaper by about $30+. What would you do if you were waiting on a delivery for over 30 min with no response? Chalked it up to being a scam and got another. Now they want to blame me for changing the delivery time, blame the prior customer as well, even though they were the ones that agreed upon the time. Clearly understaffed, unprofessional, and horrible customer service. Idk on what world they live in that someone should pay for goods not delivered or services not rendered. Never again. Avoid at all costs. Update: +1 star. They have agreed to a refund (& future discount--though doubtful I'll use it after said experience) through their escalation team. It's unfortunate I had to write reviews about the experience to get one. Hopefully they will re-evaluate how they do business or adjust their cancellation policy, especially on the basis of their own delivery driver being late & unresponsive.
