My first conversation with them was impressive. Unfortunately Baker Law did not do what they said…read morethey would. There was continuous change in attorneys, I was charged for the review of my case each time. There was little to no communication. I never knew what was happening with my case.failure to assert proper claims and asserted incorrect claims, they did not protect my interest in the case. They continually invoiced me for who knows what.I have made several request for for Baker to communicate with the opposing side, they did not . My case probably would have been settled already. Now I need to get a new attorney so they can clean up this mess of a case.

That was a red flag for me but my husband thought we should consider them. Then my first phone call with Robert regarding some questions also ended with "give me a review on google". I thought to myself a competent lawyer doesn't desperately need reviews from brand new clients. Despite that huge red flags we moved forward and along the way they didnt return calls for days, it appeared as if they dont write notes or keep track of important data, we had to repeat ourselves countless times and be charged every time we have to repeat ourselves. Mediation was an absolute disaster so much the opposing counsel noted what an incompetent team we had. Robert was late, unprepared, didn't know the facts for our case although we manage to get plenty charges for them reviewing our case. It did not appear so! Mediation had to be rescheduled. WORST OF ALL.. THEY NEGLECT THEIR WORK! THEY CHARGE FOR WORK THEY DO NOT DO!! IF WE WOULD NOT HAVE HIRED BETTER ATTORNEYS WE WOULD NOT HAVE KNOWN ABOUT DOCUMENTS THEY FAILED TO REAPOND TOO AND MISSED DEADLINES!! BUT THEY WILL CHARGE YOU FOR IT!

The advice and insights that were offered to me were always delivered in a polite and respectful manner. I am appreciative of their services and would highly recommend Bridge to Justice to anyone. Their efforts to be able to help those with less means without compromising on the quality of the services they provide is exemplary and should be emulated by others.

They don't actually help, or do anything, even though there is often simple legal action they could take to help. "Representation" is not really what one gets. After going through a slow process to qualify, which may be too little too late, you may get to speak with an attorney. That doesn't equal representation. They pay "contract" attorneys to speak with clients. The contract attorney makes money and you don't really have help. Just because someone has a law degree, doesn't mean they know the type of law you need help with, or care. This is like a side job for bad attorneys and don't confuse non-profit with caring. It's so frustrating because they could help. Bridge to Nowhere gets money from the State and other grants, this is what they are supposed to do. This organization has always been kind of useless. They need to offer real representation. Mediate, write letters, file motions. People are overwhelmed when they need legal help and these people do nothing.
