This has been my go-to clothing store for many, many years. I can almost always find what I'm looking for, whether it's work clothes, a dressy date outfit or fun, casual beachwear. When I worked in an office, I'd say my wardrobe was probably 95% LOFT. The quality of the clothes is good and stands the test of time. I've got dresses and slacks from here that I've had for at least 10 years. Their casual wear can be a little on the flimsy side and don't last as long, but the nicer dressy clothes have held up beautifully. The staff are all usually pretty nice, but they seem to have a high turnover. It can be tough to find a parking spot on the weekends.

While Tillys isn't strictly a skater shop, if you're into clothing, hats, watches, sunglasses, shoes, light gear, or even a retro skateboard, it's definitely worth a visit. Although I didn't purchase anything today, I noticed Tillys had a lot of good sales going on. One of the sales was on tee shirts, two shirts for $35, not bad. Parking is awesome at this place as I'm rarely 1-2 spots beyond the first one, and it's usually to leave a gap between my car and the other car that's there. They even have a cool overhang on the East side of the store so if it's raining, you can drop people off or pick them up. Once inside, the store is yours! The merchandise is kind of spread out like they don't have enough to fill the store properly, but I kind of like it in comparison of having clothes jammed into tight spots. There's rarely a line to check out and you can usually order something if they don't have your size (which is a big possibility). I usually end up here in the afternoon as I would probably be murdered here if I came at night. But in the daytime, I feel comfortable here.

Well guess what? I found the blue dress and it only cost me $35. It was originally $119. It was perfect for the blue and white themed December to Remember event we had at the office. I got a lot of compliments on the dress which I paired with a faux fur white coat (also a budget purchase) and some chucks. I can't wear heels all day... don't judge me. Tommy Bahama has all sorts of patterns and fabrics for their shirts. Some are appealing and some are down right ugly, and people can't come to a logical conclusion as to which is which. They have lots of stuff I'd want to wear (even a college collection too) including shirts and shorts and other stuff. While they have great products that are pretty durable, the prices here make purchasing a difficult decision. I have to really love love love love love a piece to buy it, and when I can find a shirt that sells for just under $200 at this store at TJ Max for under $50, or even on sale at Nordstrom Rack, Macy's or Dillard's for under $100, I have never made a purchase here. I browse, look for sales (which are rare), say hi to the friendly staff, then usually end up leaving within 5 minutes. It's good for what it is, and maybe someday I'll buy something at this store. I'll still buy their stuff at other stores.
