The lobby is a sunroom with cubbies, mats for rent and all the props you need to practice. The teacher, Diane, greeted me and showed me their quick check in process. We chatted and I immediately felt at home. Tonight's class was "Bliss Down", exactly what I needed after a week of dealing with life. The studio was a long back room with hardwood floors. The other students and I followed Diane's gentle, serene instructions. I love yoga studios that make you feel that it is your practice and it is not a competition. My body stretched and strengthened and sighed with pleasure. At the end, and I am always surprised when a good yoga session is over, while we were in sevasana, Diane treated us to a lavender temple message. When she pulled on my ears, I thought my spine was going to turn to jelly and sink through the floor, it was that relaxing! Then back to the real world - I will definitely visit again - $12 for that type of mind/body pampering is well worth it!
