Went in here for a breast augmentation procedure and am still in shock at how easy and seamless the whole process was. I called and really wanted to schedule the surgery for president's day weekend so that I would have an extra day off of work to recover. When I called, they were incredibly informative and so so nice and scheduled me right then and there for the procedure on presidents day weekend (before even a consultation) which i thought was so great and sweet of them. Then I sent them pictures of the parts that my surgery was gonna be and they got back to me ASAP about how im perfect for a straight breast augmentation. Dr. Crawford was incredibly sweet and so supportive of the whole process. I am just so shocked at how easy it was, and how obsessed I am with my procedure. When you consider a major surgery, you want to feel like your team is in lockstep, communicating and making sure you are taken care of. That has been the opposite of my experience with Synergy and Dr. Mehta's staff, and it's been a really disappointing experience. Basically, since the moment I paid for surgery, it's been like pulling teeth to get folks to communicate with me- terrifying when you are supposedly two weeks from a big surgery and don't know what's going on. I first had a consult with Dr. Mehta many months ago and arranged surgery for mid-August. We discussed at the time a genetic condition I have that was going to require cardiac clearance. No problem. I saw my cardiologist a month in advance of surgery, got clearance, and sent it over the same day. I spoke with his patient coordinator, Amanda, that same day. We spoke about provisions of my clearance in detail. She assured me that she had spoken to Dr. Mehta and that we were all good to go. She reached out about a week before my pre-op appointment that they needed payment in full. I expressed concerns again- are we sure everything is good to go for surgery? Shouldn't I wait to pay at my pre-op appointment? Not a problem, we're all set, she assured me, so I paid up. Flash to my pre-op last week, and Dr. Mehta seemed a bit caught off guard when I mentioned my clearance and asked for reassurance that we were all good to move forward as planned. He reassured me we were, but then about 30 minutes after I left the office, a member of his staff called me to let me know they wouldn't be able to do the surgery as planned because they'd looked into my condition more and talked to the anesthesiologist (something that anyone could have done over the months I've been in this process). I asked to speak to Dr. Mehta, who was apologetic and reassured me that his team would look into other options and call me back ASAP, since we were less than three weeks out from surgery and he knew I had already rearranged my life. It's been radio silence since then. I've sent emails which have gone unanswered. I spoke to their head of coordinators yesterday after I called, who was supposed to call me back or give me an update yesterday, and didn't. I spent months planning for a surgery, arranging time off and child care, and now I've just been left in the lurch, with a bunch of wasted time, waiting on a refund and still waiting for folks to treat me like a human and actually communicate with me. If you want to be treated like just a number, maybe this place is for you. But if you are like me (first timer, nervous about major surgery, want to feel like people are taking great care of you), I would steer clear of Synergy. read more

From the moment I went to my consultation with Dr. Mehta I knew it was him who I wanted to do my tummy tuck and breast augmentation with. He explained everything so good and made me feel Really comfortable. The ladies there are so friendly and helpful. I am currently 1 week post op and couldn't be happier. I was expecting to be in so much pain and just miserable but it's been the complete opposite. I don't know where to start! Synergy has many locations along with this one. West lake is primary I go to and then had to go to Round rock for post op...these people are INCREDIBLE!! They are the sweetest staff I have ever met! Dr. Ross Blagg is who I used...he had me at the cowboy boots haha!! Horrible experience. Surgery was completely botched - I'm in pain with way too large implants that were placed too close to one another causing symmastia. I can't do any physical activity without horrible chest pain. The office refuses to pick up my phone, send medical records or discuss reimbursement. Dr Kerr should have his licensed revoked. I had a breast reduction/lift in December. Something I had been wanting for years. I was scared to death, not knowing how it would turn out, and if I made the right decision. I can definitely say I made the right decision. I am VERY pleased with the results. Dr. Kerr and his staff were very professional, and able to answer all of my questions and concerns to help put my mind at ease. The scarring is a lot less than I had anticipated, and they look beautiful! I definitely picked the right doctor for the job, and they are healing a lot faster than I expected. I had a breast reduction on 07/19/2012 and it was well worth it! I did months of research on different plastic surgeons in Austin and met with a few of them. But I knew almost instantly within meeting Dr. Kerr that he would be the one to do my surgery. He is very professional, genuine and extremely detailed! I was a F cup and was reduced to a C cup and it was the best decision I ever made! I didn't even have to take any pain meds since Dr. Kerr puts in a 5 day novacane drip into the breasts during surgery which really helps! He even called me that night after my surgery to see how I was doing. I highly recommend Dr. Kerr! He is so patient and always there to help with any questions you have.
