Our family had the good fortune to find Caring Hearts about 3 years ago and I am so grateful. Mom…read morehad been living in a senior community with assisted care, but a fractured foot caused her to "fall between the cracks" in the continuum of care. Post foot fracture, she was wheelchair-bound--so couldn't reside in her 2nd floor apartment in case of fire--but she was otherwise healthy, so not appropriate for skilled nursing or the dementia unit. Off to investigate other options I went. When I found Caring Hearts and met Olivia and her staff, I knew it was all going to be OK - for Mom, and for our family. There are places that take care of your loved ones' physical needs, and Caring Hearts does a great job at that, but I wanted something more for Mom. I wanted a place where they would care for Mom's spirit as well as her body and a team that would work with me to ensure the highest possible quality of life for Mom for the remainder of her life. I got all that and more at Caring Hearts. Unless your loved one needs a very fancy place to live, I would unreservedly recommend Caring Hearts. The people are great, the food is good, they allow you to do "special" things like bring in favorite foods and flowers, and whenever there are medical issues, they are on top of it. (Olivia--not the geriatric physician--was the one who figure out that my Mom was suffering from UTIs. What a world of difference that made to Mom and all of us.) And, as Mom approached end of life, Caring Hearts got us set up with a terrific hospice called Optimal Care. Olivia started in this business because of her grandmother. Her grandmother would be very proud indeed.

Michelle makes it a practice to reach out to families with "Good news" and pictures that show everyday successes and small joys. Prior to going to live at Caring Hearts our mom lived at a much larger (And frankly much more expensive) care home. However the level of personal care and attention that she now receives has resulted in a substantially higher quality of life for her.

With the care at this Belmont Village, my mom came back to life. She went from zombie-like to energetic and talkative. She loves the caregivers, and it feels like they love her too. Do not hesitate to bring a loved one here for A+ care and safety. The rooms are really big, and there are beautiful areas to sit and get some sun and fresh air. The activity leaders are so kind and really try to keep the residents busy with chair yoga, music, karaoke, word games, BINGO... The staff is phenomenal, and there are folks like Walter, Juan, Wilma, Christine, and more that give joy and care to each resident. I love that they assign PALs (care givers) to groups of residents, and most will pitch in and help whether or not they are assigned to a particular resident. Poojan (MC Director) and Radhika (Sr. ED) can often be found with residents. You can feel so much love here. Don't think twice about checking this facility out for your aging relatives. You will fall in love and get your own peace of mind, knowing they are safe, loved, and engaged. Just look at how they brought my mom back to life!

The continuous unannounced walk in all hours of the night and day in my Apt. was an invasion of my privacy. Brought to the attention of Mgmt, I was informed it was in my contract. Due to the lack of respect and dignity , I was eager to depart. The only positive , that I can provide the food was desirable.

My…read moremother was there for almost 6 years in Memory Care and my father had his own room near the Memory Care section for almost 3 years. My mother had gone on hospice at least 3 times while there, and each time the Memory Care and staff were so communicative and responsive so that my brothers and I could always know how she was doing. There were many times where Campbell Village helped us to get our mom and dad to the hospital for urgent situations, helping us to coordinate our dad's dialysis appointments, and also helping us to reserve the special dining room for our birthday dinners, special lunches, and holiday dinners. Campbell Village staff and the Memory Care staff significantly helped improve the quality of life for both my parents and my adult siblings so that we were sure our parents were safe and taken care of for their needs. And when the inevitable day arrived for my dad in 2024 and then 1 year later for my mom in 2025, Campbell Village called us immediately so that we can be there in those last moments. I will always be so grateful for their care, attentiveness, support, and empathy for both my mom and dad. The staff here really do care and I really felt that. Thank you Campbell Village for showing kindness to my mother and father in their last years.

The staff and owner were genuinely caring and active in healing this area and preventing more wounds. A very clean and welcoming home as well. Small touches make the best impression, and this patient , although advanced in dementia and perhaps not aware, was pampered a lot. She loved Purple when she was well, and the ladies there had all kinds of purple items (blankets, pillows, etc) always neat and clean, and placed lovingly. All of the staff are extremely…read morenice, comforting, and are confident in what they do, caring for patients with varying levels of needs. Among the biggest perks is they cook food in the kitchen. My grandma's appetite mainly revolved around homemade soups, eggs and oatmeal, smoothies, watermelon, and vegetables with meat (which had to be blended up because she refused to eat otherwise). They encourage patients to get some outside time in the backyard or a short walk in the neighborhood, but also had patience and understanding when it took about a week before my grandmother ventured outside. Accommodations and personal preferences are taken into account. For example, the 3 weeks my grandma was there she almost constantly alternated between being too hot and too cold. So the fan was adjusted accordingly, throughout the day. Bedside manner is above and beyond. Rose and her daughter Christina were the two main caretakers for my grandma whenever we visited. Their cheerfulness and general positivity is just the type of energy a person would want when not feeling their best. Even in the middle of the night when my grandmother would often wake up several times a night, Rose would get up to comfort her by sitting next to her bed for periods of time and saying calming words to her. My grandmother was a bit of a high-maintenance patient, but that didn't deter any of the staff's efforts to make her time there as comfortable as possible. Cleanliness is excellent as well, with diaper changes and showers being a top priority. The staff understands the effects of medications well, and talked it out with us a few times regarding which route or routes we wanted to take. My grandmother's room was soothing and homey with a good exposure of sunlight (and blinds) and had a nice TV. Sometimes we watched baseball with her or nature shows. Their communication with us was clear, and we always felt rest assured that the most was done for all patients there.
