It had tiger stripes, orange peel, overspray, other issues I can't remember. It's been a few years. They actually had the audacity to tell me, you paid for a basic paint job not a superior paint job that's what you got. Interestingly enough I don't know a single body shop, mechanic shop or subway sandwich shop for that matter in the area that would say such a thing other than this place. I was given a discount for doing business with Marks sister Angela and having utilized her company for 10+ years but he most certainly took that away once I complained about the sub par workmanship at his shop. They repaired the things that were needing repair after a customer complained but I've would never return to this clown show facility again.

I was able to get in right away with no wait and rear brakes were replaced within an hr and half. In addition, I was previously dealing with issues with my engine as I purchased my car "as is" so when my check engine light came on DW Auto Services was the first place I called. I was told to bring it in and they were able to fix the issue immediately as it was a misfire and was back on the road the same day! With that being said knowing all the trouble I had been having with my car prior to coming to DW Auto Services, Dakota was kind enough to spend over five hours on the phone with my warranty people and was able to get a replacement engine!!!! Overall, this process took no more than a week! From contacting my warranty company to ordering an engine to replacing the engine! I was even offered a loaner vehicle in the meantime while the engine was being replaced which was a huge benefit as if I had to pay for a rental it would have put me in the whole financially . I was able to pick my car up after only three days and If it wasn't for the service of their loaner vehicle I would have been left with no transportation. I highly recommend this business! They care, and recognize everyday hard working people! I value their professionalism, communication and continuous effort to make their customers feel understood and cared for. Out of all the places I have been too in Eau Claire for the past 20 years this business by far is the best!

His honest, integrity, and broad depth of mechanical knowledge, makes doing business with him easy and frictionless. They are fair on prices and a good value. Additionally, when I researched local prices for routine maintenance like oil changes & tire rotations, Adams was always the best value. (Even over my dealership). So: When you make your routine oil-change appt, ask whether they're offering a free tire rotation--I never needed to ask bc they offered the sale info, but hat might be helpful. It's never a long wait. With our record-low temps & record-high snowfall this winter (2019), I've needed to call for a tow & two jump starts. Adams' service was simple, very timely & efficient--even during our nastiest winter weather. So far, I've had my car in for two routine oil changes/tire rotations/routine maintenance appts & one battery replacement, as well as a couple of jump starts. When I researched local prices, (even with the offers from my dealership) Adams always had far better pricing than other local shops, so I brought my car there when I realized that I needed a new battery. I've spent a fair amount of time in their waiting area during this fall & winter; it's always been a pleasant-enough experience. Although they don't have warm cookies, coffee or cocoa, nor do they offer vending-machine vouchers for such, none of that especially concerns me. I'm there for vehicle maintenance, not a snack. Other good stuff: My car dealership never alerted me to the fact that my car needed a fresh air filter--then, Adams staff took the time to show me my old (gunky & awful) filter vs a new one. They talked WITH me about how that affects gas mileage, etc, and asked whether I wanted them to install a new air filter. Of course I did, but they never once pushed me toward a purchase I didn't want/need based on visual evidence & solid explanations about how each part affects another, etc. The price difference was only ~$20 & my conversation with the service person helped me to learn more about my car's routine maintenance & future care for maximum longevity & performance. After some -50 degree temps this winter, and considering the three short years I've owned my car, the fact that I needed a new battery this winter wasn't really a surprise. They took the he time to explain how long car batteries typically last, etc. Long story-short--know this: I've never felt short-changed or over-charged for anything I've ever needed from any auto shop so far. If you're wondering about where to go for great service & the stuff you might need for your car, definitely bring it to Adams. I'm so thrilled that I've found this place! I mean, some people wouldn't get excited about finding "their favorite auto shop," but I guess I am pretty lucky to have found Adams...Although I wish I could do my own car maintenance, I don't have the space; I'm happy that Adams is so awesome. They've never tried to sell me anything that I didn't need--that's fantastic. That was not the problem. They were starting to feel desperate. They made it to a Holiday Gas station (where they felt comfortable with all involved) They spent the night in Eau Claire. In the morning, the car was towed to Interstate Automotive. The owner is Moose. He and his crew Mike, Nick and Dan were Fantastic, friendly, helpful and oh so quick to repair my parents alternator. My parents do not use Yelp, but wanted to make sure that anyone that travels through the area, or lives near will be in Great hands! 5 stars, and many compliments to all involved! Without a doubt the single worst customer experience I have ever encountered. I called to have it…read morebrought in Wednesday, they tell me bring it in. I get there no one is even in the building. I holler trying to find someone for 10 solid minutes. Finally someone shows up. They make no apologies or give any explanation as to why no one was there. They have me fill out my own appointment for them because they NEVER got my information when I first called them and didn't even ask what was going on with my car. Despite all that I leave my car with them (poor decision by me). They tell me a day and they'll call me. Thursday goes by without a peep from them. I call them Friday around 1pm I'm immediately met with hostility told I should just be patient give them until the end of the day. I call again at 4 and it's evident they haven't so much as moved my car into the shop to look at it. I'm told they'll get to work on it right away give them 20 minutes and they'll call me back. After an hour I called them back. Once again they are rude and short tempered and give me NO information on what's happening with my car but say they'll know something soon. I specifically ask, will you know something by 6 come close because I need to know something or take it elsewhere. They tell me by 6 guaranteed. Of course that was a lie. 6 rolls around they don't call me. I call them, no answer and their voicemail is full so I can't even leave a message (very professional). I proceed to call several more times to no avail. I drive over there, shops closed doors are locked no one is there. I bang on the door and their neighbors come over and tell me to try the other door because he sees their cars and thinks they are there. I bang on the next door nothing. I see my car on the lot untouched just as I left it THREE DAYS AGO. I grab my spare key and take the car back because one more second of it in the hands of a group so incompetent was a scary thought for me. Only after I pick up my car do they call me back. I'm busy at the time and don't see the call. They don't leave a voicemail because of course not these people don't talk to you. I call them back they finally pick up. I tell them I'm done with them I don't trust them. They patronize me and sarcastically try explaining why they have done nothing with my car. Politely I tell them to save their breath our business is concluded. The guy goes and I quote : "Fine no sweat off my balls." And hangs up on me. They were rude, unprofessional, they lied to me, ignored my phone calls, copped an attitude anytime I called them trying to get an update on my car and generally stonewalled me. I suspect the delay had to due with the fact they charge 35 dollars a day to let it sit there. NEVER EVER EVER would I recommend this place to anyone. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. These people are toxic, incompetent, LIARS.
