Do not rent here. My AC went out three times three months in a row, in the hottest months. My AC went out for four days and they put in a portable unit during that time, but the apartment was still 80 degrees at night. There is so much trash everywhere and the pool is often unavailable. The break lease fee is $2,490 and they do not let you out of your lease even when the air conditioning keeps failing. The elevator breaks constantly. This apartment complex is horrible. They have a courtesy officer who is more concerned about his cars than he is about the community. They say it's luxury housing but it's more like the projects. Management changes every few months. I guess it's because they all sleep with each other. The last manager got fired for sleeping with the maintenance manager. It gets worse every year. Pros: I truly love the maintenance department. They are nice, helpful guys who always try their hardest and come in a timely manner after you put in your request. The actual appliances are crap and cheap, just like every apartment, but these guys do the best they can with what we have ya know. (PS they have personally told me themselves that Sync is cheap on things like doorknobs that are always falling off, garbage disposal, ice maker, heater, etc.,) Now on to the good stuff. If you love not having a place to park when you come home from a long day/night of work - this is the place for you! If you love being on your (tiny) patio and witnessing a break in car crime and men running right in front of you - this is the place for you! If you love ignorant, unhelpful, uncaring office staff "handling" any of the above said problems or your problems - this is the place for you! There has BEEN a parking problem at Sync since I've been here. Which is two years by the way, two years of paying rent on time every single month. That's 24 on time monthly payments (we don't want to talk about what that dollar amount comes to...send help) okay, but moving forward, I pay my rent on time every month, never received any complaints, Sync has never had any issues with me or my sister. We both work at the hospital and it's been a hard year(s) for all of us okay. When we get home from a night shift we just want a place to park so we can walk in safely to our apartment and go to sleep. Wake up, repeat. *** Did I mention that I pay rent AND that rent includes a parking spot, I'll go find my leasing agreement where it states that if you want me to*** We don't have specific assigned spots but there is resident parking and visitor parking. We are supposed to be guaranteed resident parking, everyone that pays rent/is on the leasing agreement can register their vehicle to park in a parking spot. Mind you - for two years now that I've been here people have had guests and visitors and whoever just parking wherever with no consequences. We have men over here with these extra little "fun time" motorcycles as an extra vehicle who take up entire parking spots. (no shame to motorcycle enthusiasts anywhere please, I just wish we could share that parking spot where your motorcycle has been sitting for three months collecting spider webs - like I'll even dust those spider webs off for you if you wanna share spots just saying, I got you). No, but seriously, people have extra vehicles, guests, etc., parked all in the resident parking with no consequences.*** Back to my story now, my last and final straw with Sync at Harmony was when I came home from a night shift with my sleeping daughter in the car (shout out to single mamas everywhere, Sync might not give a F about you but I see you mama and you're doing a great job) I circled this apartment complex 5 times y'all. 30 minutes. Bleary eyed, angry, tired, hopeful, sad, trying to stay positive like please Lord just let me find a parking spot! Nope, not a one! Not ONE single parking spot was available in this entire complex. After 37 minutes I was tired you guys, I saw the broken gates (that have never worked) and are locked up with a big chain, saw multiple other vehicles parked in front of it, so I parked in my ONLY available option. I'm sure you know how this story ends, I woke up to a beautiful 75 degree sunny day, was going to go get some iced tea and go for a little mental health walk before work tonight and Ms. Pearl was gone y'all. (Yes, I name my car). I panicked, called the front office, talked to Denaisha - who I'll give like a 7/10 for not being too ugly with me but she was absolutely no help. 0/10 for being helpful, 0/10 for being a caring decent human being. Like they REALLY do not care about their residents. I stayed calm, just explained everything that happened, asked what she would do in said situation, and she told me she would have never parked and kept driving around LOL okay miss ma'am some of us need sleep eventually...but people always like to say they would handle situations so gallantly and differently than what they would actually do. *Sigh* Can I tell you one of the worst parts? Our apartment complex is in Spring, TX. The tow truck company that Sync at Harmony uses is in MAGNOLIA. And they want $317.53 to get my car out, for the 10 hours they've had it. I'm already crying at this point and just paid rent 2 days ago, now I have to call an Uber to drive me FORTY FIVE MINUTES to Magnolia ($$$) and stop by the bank to cry as I take out three hundred and seventeen dollars and fifty-three cents. I have lived here for almost two years now and my experience has been mostly downhill since I moved into this apartment. For starters when I first moved in my apartment I stepped on at least 5 nails a day through exposed carpet drawings blood plenty of times which the office basically replied with an oh well its your problem even after the carpet was changes I still have issues today watching where I step in a place I live. The vents were caked with dust from the previous owners and the cabinets were lined with mild black mold to the point that I cant use them without it spreading to my clean dishes(the problem never got fixed even though they came and checked it out) also my vents were lined with black mold and when I asked them to be cleaned they didn't put the screws back and I have a hanging vent in my apartment. This is not a luxurious apartment because everything is made so cheap and can hear residents all day coming in and out their apartments, talking loud, or even knocking on their door I think people are at my door. Iv watched people put trackers on cars from my balcony and break i to peoples cars late at night because its 50/50 if the gate is closed or open all the time with no security to see whats going on because the complex doesn't wanna be held responsible. Another major issue is parking and your lucky to find a spot inside the complex past 8pm and the garages are nothing but plywood insides and painted outside to make it look nice which isn't worth the extra 100 they want you to pay for one. I've been towed by this complex twice behind parking issues and I LIVE HERE and shifted blame to me because they said they do patrols at night( which is a lie) and there were enough spots which also I have plenty videos over several months of no parking spots in the entire complex. They shift blame to the resident a lot for the problems of the complex. They are very bad with responding to resident needs and emergencies. My fridge stopped working completely maintenance came and it didn't help the issue now I'm almost a month later and finally got a new fridge but all my groceries that I bought went bad. The office said they cant do anything for me regarding the issue! Elevator's are also 50/50 either is is useful or broken and smells like dog pee for a week. I live in front of the dog park and regularly try to avoid poop as I walk and the smell alone hits you everytime as your walking back and forward to your apartment. I have a chandler in my one bed apartments that was broken when I first moved in and just looks tacky because it has no use asked them to paint my balcony railing and they only painted the sides I can see from inside my apartment but it looks rusty and tacky on the other side ill will provide pictures for everything below! I also had a huge ant problem when I first moved in and had to do something myself because the office wouldn't help and roaches all over the stairs and hallways. Overall this isn't worth the 1400-3000 your gonna pay for apartment here and recommend looking elsewhere before choosing this location yeah it's surrounded by convince but that is a small positive to the big negatives about this complex! read more

There are huge cockroaches in the apartments nonstop, the plumbing is about to give up anytime, the air conditioner is breaking on monthly bases, mold in the vents and windows. After moving here coming upon 3 years, I have to change my rating for this place to 1 star and it doesn't even deserve that. Disruptive pets and neighbors, car burglaries at night, and most recently, this property decided to "Go green" and replace my shower and kitchen sink with a head that produces very little water, and a bathroom faucet that produces more splatter than water. I had to go out and buy my own shower head for NO reason just to be able to shower AND figure out how to install it on my own. It's astonishing how they could inconvenience so many people like this unprovoked. I've literally had to call multiple due to disruptive pets and neighbors being an inconvenience to me not being able to work from home or sleep at night and it took management months to do anything about it until others started complaining. Then recently had the NERVE to charge a $50 trash violation fee after never enforcing any trash hours (I don't get any emails or phone calls) and after receiving no warning. I do no recommend this apt complex, as management/leadership gets worse and worse, and has since I moved in here. For this area, I would recommend going elsewhere where they can provide a better experience. For anybody reading this, don't do it. RUN. They are BIG on INCONVENIENCING THEIR TENANTS. 3 stars for the appartment itself I really dont mind the appartment, the layout is great, and the pool and grill areas are usually pretty nice. Definatly the worlds thinnest walls and ceilings though. You could here someone cough in the appartment next to you. And the noise from upper appartments is quite loud. Anytime a door closes or a dryer turns on in the units next to you the room shakes. 1 star for customer service The staff here is pretty awful. This isnt a personal attack on them but theyre terribly unorganized, and always lose things. The accounting for this place is a nightmare. Theyve lost money several times, double charged once and always act so surprised when they cant keep track of anything. Anything you email them the seem to just trash or ignore. There is absolutely no communication from one employee to the next. They are all kept in the dark so you have to re-explain your problems every time. If you decide to move in here make sure to keep copies of EVERYTHING. They will lose your receipts, money, fees, and documents. Track everythin yourself. I cannot wait until our lease is up so we can move out. 2 stars for cleanliness They pick up trash around the complex but the hallways are disgusting. March 2023 move out: Due to zip code this property is very overpriced. Expect a typical apartment community, with the following being in abundance: 1. Loud noises and trash left in the breezeways. 2. Dog feces everywhere. The only real enforcement is taking timestamped pictures of your neighbors not picking up after dogs. This creates hostility within the residents of community. 3. Zero parking for guests and residents. You must buy a garage (I negotiated to $100 a month in August, 2022). The parking stickers are one per lease holder, and $150 to replace. It makes no difference though because there is never parking available close to breezeways. 4. Crime is on the rise. Multiple thefts and confrontations occurred due to the caliber of residents moving into the community. 5. Management is inexperienced and does not walk the property. They claim to walk each day but never at evening or night, and never on the weekends. 6. Office hours are a lie. They are closed Sundays. 7. Inefficient appliances result in $150+ energy bills for less than 1250 sq feet, in December! 8. Local construction rents garages in the back and stores hazardous chemicals. They access these chemicals multiple times a day, and the chemical smell is very strong. 9. Large groups of men regularly bbq in front of their garages, having parties, and blocking access to other residents. These groups are related to the workers at the community, so complaints do not get addressed. 10. Gym equip always broken, a/c in gym is broken, fans are disgusting and caked with dust. Although I moved out last year, with inflation on the rise I feel like I have to say this. If you're barely making rent now and thing you deserve an upgrade, DONT MOVE HERE. When my family moved in at the beginning of 2021 we were paying 1400 for the 2 bedroom/ 2 bath apartment. By the time I needed to move they're we asking for 1700! The building is pretty on the outside and although these are "luxury" apartments, once the price went past 1500 it wasn't worth it. Within my first few months of being there my car was broken into, there are no cameras are security so even though the women I spoke with at the front desk was nice there was literally nothing she could do for me. I worked in downtown Houston so I was almost guaranteed no parking, especially if the sun had already gone down. The actual unit itself was falling apart. Anytime we'd cook on the stove it would smoke up like crazy, no matter how often we'd scrub the stove to get whatever off of it. Our AC cut off a few times and all the doors would get stuck randomly but the doorknobs where loose. And we had nails sticking up from the carpet that we couldn't see so that was fun for my toddler learning to walk. The pool was also randomly closed a lot. I've never been towed but the one time I had a guest over they got towed. We're not as close as we were. The people who work here are really nice and maintenance have fixed all they could I guess when we asked. Not a TERRIBLE place to live but again if you can barely afford rent now and actually want value for the thousands of dollars you spend, look somewhere else because Sync will raise the rent EVERY SINGLE CHANCE THEY GET, and nothing about the place gets better read more

I have lived here going on 6 years and I have loved it. It's been safe, friendly, and the Mainteance staff they have now is the BEST! Not to mention the manager Danasha is the sweetest. There is nothing "luxurious" about this apartment complex. I have had a bad ant problem twice and when I called into the office they had no sense of urgency to fix the problem and made me wait a week both times to get my apartment sprayed. I reported a leak under my kitchen sink that had soaked the cabinets and floor and again no sense of urgency, they basically said they would get to it when they have time. This is a email that was just sent out from management. Talking about burglaries to cars and now to apartments!! What's the solution? Oh yeah we need to watch out for ourselves. We need to make sure we watch our cars throughout the whole nigh because if someone breaks into them they're just our responsibility same goes for our apartment. I called today and told the girl at the office that at trash pick up last night, nasty trash fluid leaked into to alligator 2 feet by 2 feet. Since Sync took over, there has been nothing but problems. Bad elements moving in, trash on the grounds, in the elevators, in the stairwells. It's supposed to be a non smoking community, but you still smell cigarettes and weed. There is cigarette butts everywhere. Dogs pee in the elevators, leaving it for a week before being cleaned. Not only is it gross but unsanitary. The ac unit in my place went out 2 weeks ago and again yesterday. And guess what? Today also. The women in the office seem very disinterested. We lived here from September 2018 - January 2019 while our house was being built. It wasn't awesome. The things that made me really want to get out were: 1) the pests- we had literally thousands of fire ants in the apartment, which bit us constantly. Thousands is not an exaggeration. At times we would only see a couple dozen a day. At other times we would leave for a few hours and come back to a complete infestation. We also had mice. We had 3 or 4 in the 4 months we lived there. The apartment complex did respond to our requests to exterminate (although sometimes not for several days, so we'd end up dealing with it ourselves), but they were not actually successful in any of their attempts. 2) the dogs- let me start by saying that we chose this complex because they allowed dogs, and we lived there with our very friendly golden retriever. However, many of the dogs that also lived there were not friendly. We stopped going to the dog park because my dog was attacked several times. I would look out the peep hole any time I left the apartment to be sure a dog wasn't coming because there were so many aggressive dogs there. People would let their aggressive dogs out off the leash, and I was charged more than once by a dog who was either out by itself or had a very elderly owner who clearly could not control it. They really need to have some sort of approval process for the dogs they allow to live there. 3) the dog park- the dog park is not maintained and has no enforced rules. See above re: my dog being attacked there. In addition, it was too muddy to be useable 75% of the time. Other residents used it as a daycare- both for their dogs and kids. They'd drop their children/dogs off there and make them the responsibility of whomever wanted to actually use the dog park as it was intended. I'm pretty sure I was the only resident who even once picked up after my dog, as well. Sync has potential to be a decent complex. The location is good and the apartments themselves are decent, but they need to a) work on the pests and b) enforce the rules to actually make it a nice place to live read more

Dirty, not well maintained. Broken elevator ceiling fell on my kids head and months later, still hasn't been fixed. Pool is always closed for maintenance. Gate is always out of order and remotes never work. Garage door is broken. Staff is never willing to help with anything. They regularly allow a towing company to patrol parking lot to tow cars with expired stickers even though I notified them I was waiting for sticker in mail. read more

If you're thinking about renting an apartment here...DON'T DO IT. I rented an apartment for three months on the third floor (59 steps). For the last month I was there the elevator didn't work, which wouldn't have been a problem except for when it came time to move out it still wasn't working, and I was informed that I had to CARRY FURNITURE down three flights of stairs. When I told them I would move everything out but the furniture (which took me 11 trips up and down the stairs in hundred degree heat) I was informed that the elevator "isn't there for moving" and I was threatened with eviction. Ultimately we did move the furniture down the stairs. The staff couldn't have been less accommodating, and the only person who ever showed up at my door was a police officer who informed me that my neighbor had her door kicked in and was burglarized between 9:00 and 2:00 in the afternoon. Worst apartment I've ever lived in. Built very poorly, you can hear everything your neighbors are doing. The pool hardly is ever clean and is a yucky green color. There are no security cameras whatsoever even at the office to see traffic going in and out so when someone broke in my apartment they wouldn't do anything about it or even cared if I was okay they just cared how it was going to be paid for. For 3 or 4 days my door wouldn't lock because they told me I had to pay for damages and I had to beg to get it screwed back in because I was terrified of being at my own home. The management is extremely rude, racist and doesn't care about the residents. I paid $1100 a month to ride up and down a fancy elevator to my apartment that is unmonitored by security cameras because the property doesn't want to be accounted for when an incident happens. Packages get stolen and of course they can't prove who it is. Cars are getting egged and there is no parking! The elevators smell disgusting because of trash pick up and the breezeways always have trash everywhere. Not worth your money. If I could rate no stars I would. I am on my second year of living here and I like it well enough. They've had new management since I moved in and I have no complaints. I got the same email that the rest did regarding vehicle burglaries and feel like they are doing what they can. They have a gated community and the gate works. They can't stop everything and hiring security would jack up the rental prices. I chose this apartment because of the area as well as the price and I couldn't afford for it to go up any higher. I take my valuables in and lock my car. It's that simple. Management gives us notice when the pool is going to be closed for maintenance and it isn't excessive. They send text messages out when they send an email out regarding issues, so if anyone isn't reading them, it's on them and not management. I like that we are within walking distance to HEB (I've even walked to the Starbucks and Walmart across the Grand Parkway intersection) and there is a neighborhood park within walking distance as well (walking distance for me anyway, it's about 0.5 mile approximately). I'm still hoping they put up the children's park I was told was in the works when I first moved in, but since there is new management, who knows if that's still on their priority list. I've lived here for a year and 3 months. My initial experience was horrible. At the time the property was owned by Lincoln. I moved from California to start a new job and had everything squared away prior to moving. After driving 27 hours from California to Spring, TX, checking into a hotel, I would expect the next morning I'd be able to move in without complications. However, when I received my keys, the apartment was dirty from construction (looked the same when I saw the apartment 3 weeks prior to moving in). I was the 1st tenet to live in the apartment. The washer and dryer connections were not connected and there were exposed nails (which are still exposed). After 2 hours of not being able to unpack my very loaded car, I was able to move in. There wasn't an apology for waiting for so long. All I could do was eat the snacks in the lobby as I didn't want to drive somewhere an leave my car unattended. As far as the apartment, the walls are thin as you can hear everyone talking in the hallways and when someone knocks on someone else's door, I always think someone is knocking on my door. The tenet above me walks heavy that it sounds like they are stomping every time they walk. Our AC has broken down 3 times in the year and 3 months I've lived here. I felt that when I was searching for a place to live Watermark is like a Monet painting, looks amazing from far away but when up close, it's ok. For now, I still call this place home. HI uhhhhh I don't like the apartment. yeah the location is ok but like the people suck and are very rude. the apartments are expensive as fuck and fall apart very easily. The maintenance sucks because the apartment I lived in grew black mold from Harvey and they didn't fix it until we moved out, getting me very sick. after we moved, they finally "fixed" the mold by painting over it so the new owners wouldn't know of the problem. Also the people that live here are no better. drugs are everywhere, someone got stabbed in the lot behind our building, drunk people walking around all the time. It just isn't fun. This place is so pretty and relaxing. I've been here since October and item all of my standards for my "first apartment".

Moved in not even a month ago. Entire place is INFESTED with MICE!! Went to management and got no help. Told me they lived in Puerto Rico with lots of mice like i'm over reacting. Told me to clean my stuff with anti bacterial wipes. Down played entire situation and told me how the front office is infested with baby mice as well!!! I have poop all over work clothes hanging up, purses, shoes, corners, my dog wakes up all night. Office told me of a cleaning lady I COULD PAY to clean up all this. NOT HAPPY read more

I've lived here since they first opened I must say a lot has changed! For the worse 1) landscaping is horrible dead grass and flowers everywhere when i first moved in the landscaping was very well kept. 2) I am afraid to take my dog to the dog park because its nasty and you can smell dog urine all the way to my patio. 3) PARKING IS HORRIBLE I HAVE TO CIRCLE AROUND 3 TIMES JUST TO FIND PARKING AND I HAVE TO PARK BY THE BACK EXIT GATE WHEN I LIVE UPFRONT. 4) Valet Trash guys takes the trash on the elevator and leaving trash smell nats fly's and trash juice all in elevator's ( ELEVATORS ARE JUST NASTY) 5) Dog feces all around the property you can smell it as you walk from your apt to your car. 6) People leave their dog pick up bags all around the property instead of throwing it in the trash. 7) The hallways are just disgusting VERY NASTY AND THE STAIRS 8) Gym equipment always broken 9) My walks are cracking from the ceiling to the floor. Overall the property is not well kept the prev owner's and manger made sure the property was well kept because she lived on property now they don't care to be honest MOVE ACROSS THE STREET Parking might be tight but you can tell it's very well kept and the owner's and manger care about how the property looks not our office staff. This place has gone downhill after the change in property management companies. We loved it when first moving in and now we can't wait to leave at the end of our lease. It's really sad because this area is amazing. There is a parking issue that the office seems to not take ownership about and find a solution for the resident's. I guess overnight visitors parked all throughout the complex have more priority than the resident's that pay rent here. We shouldn't have to drive around the entire complex several times waiting for someone to leave at night. The "valet" trash is not consistent. The hallways, stairs, and elevators are disgusting from trashstains, pet urine and feces,etc. You hear everything above, under, and next to you. Oh and its supposed to be non smoking community. I have called several times to complain about marijuana smoke coming through my vents..their response was to call the police. Your packages will end up missing..even if you are at home to receive them. The office staff is there to get a check. For this price you are better off somewhere else that actually seem to address resident issues. read more
