Great local business! Saved me a huge headache! I recently purchased a brand new Lenovo from…read moreStaples. Because I was moving, the new laptop got packed away before even coming out of the box. A month later I started up the new Lenovo and the screen immediately began to glitch. My new machine was defective right out of the box. I took it back to Staples thinking it would be a simple exchange. It was not. Their story policy did not all for the return/exchange as i missed the return window for electronics. Staples tried to bring the machine up but the defective monitor did not allow for and repair/diagnosis. Rats! But the machine was still under factory warranty. I placed a trouble ticket on the Lenovo website and was assigned a case on February 2, 2021. I waited about two weeks, thinking I would at least have a follow-up message about my machine. I replied to the email with my case number asking for an estimate. I use my laptop for my writing gig on the side (and to post these Yelp reviews!) Bottom line, I needed to get back on the web ASAP. I frequent Topsham where this unassuming little shop is located on the second floor of suite 2 in Topsham Fair Mall and thought, I'll check it out. I was impressed by the cozy waiting room, masks were being enforced due to covid, and social distance measures were put into place, clear dividers were used to shield customers and staff. I sat down with owner/head tech Josh who specializes in Lenovos. He was sympathetic to my plight and said Lenovo will probably never get back to me, so he offered to take over my repair claim and with his magic connections he'd give them a call. WHAT A RELEIF! I was able to unload my headache and put it in the hands of a professional repair tech who has over 15 years experience in the industry. Mr. Mason provided top-notch customer service, he really empathized with my plight. I trust my machine is in good hands. Skip the big box, check out the Nerd Barn for computer, phone, tablet, etc. repair needs.

" How much screen protection for iPhoneXR, Then he said $25. I said OK let's do that. I noticed that he was having dinner(salad roll). Then I said I can come back about 15 minutes! He said it's OK. Then I'll put my brand new phone on the top of the display case. He opened the phone box so hard :( And he said why they put iPhone XR in iPhone 12 box. Then I said really? I tried to not talk to him so much, because his mouth smells Marijuana so strong, Stinky The way he said He tried to make me buy charger, USB cable and Phone case. I did not say anything much, i was tried from work. And I don't like when sellers are talking or try to sale me thighs. Because when I want to buy some thing I always buy because I wanted, not because someone telling me to buy! Then he put the first screen protection on. it was terrible. So many bubble and looked very bad. He knew that he did a bad job, Then he said if you're not happy with that. I will try the second screen protection on. Then he said it's going to be the same one that he did at first.Because he wiped the phone screen with Alcohol. And I did not say anything. He did the second one a little bit better than the first one. After that he told me my total is 26.36 Then I'm said OK. After that I gave him my credit card He asked me to singed. Then I just threw the receipt in the bag. I did not check on the receipt. before I walked out from his shop. In the afternoon(August 7, 2021) i went to my Chase credit card account, it was surprise when I saw the total on the receipt not $26.34 like he said BUT $31.36 then I went to check on the receipt again. I saw $5 tips on the receipt. I feel like this man really a scam. Never go black to iFex Here again. ! Never judge people who's not talking so much are stupid. Most of Smart people are not talk much!

The work was done and we were pleased but last year after only 6 years we started having problems with the reception. No way our we spending more money on this, don't do it!

Clearly, they can't handle the load of repairs. There aren't many others places to take your business, but don't go here! I dropped off a video projector that had a small issue (which I described in detail to the son.) Weeks later I get a hold of the father and he says it doesn't come on at all. It's possible that somewhere between my last use and when I dropped it off that this other problem occurred, but I'll never know. He then took it apart, told me what I already knew, and when I went to retrieve it two months later because he still hasn't gotten to it, he wouldn't give me my $75 exam fee back. (Numerous phone calls in between all this.) For that $75 he didn't tell me what was wrong, what I might expect to pay for a repair, or if it was even repairable. That borders on criminal as far as I'm concerned. Dave, these bad reviews are no accident. I will make sure people know not to use you. Return my examination fee; you can't honestly believe you earned it. And to top it off, I just found out from another repairman that the reason the bulb wouldn't come on was because the top was incorrectly reattached.
