I had an amazing experience from start to finish! Let me tell you, I was skeptical because I went to a different location to try out T-Shape 2 and I did NOT have a great experience there. They didn't know the machine well and they needed extra help during my introductory session. Let me tell you that it was a hot mess. You'll see a pattern of defensive, combative, and often disrespectful responses. Ask yourself if that's the kind of business you want to support. I visited Syn Wellness for their T-Shape 2 service. Before booking, I specifically asked about pricing. I was quoted a package price and told it didn't include the new client discount, which I would also receive. I asked what the price per session would be; the lady I spoke with said people don't buy one session, only packages, and refused to give a price per session. My first appointment cost $79, which is just a promo to get customers through the door. The treatment itself was great. The problem started afterward. When they presented the package pricing, it was nearly double what I had been quoted for packages over the phone. It turned out the "20% new client discount" was the price I was given over the phone, but told an additional discount would be applied - very misleading. It got worse. I was told I had to purchase a package before they closed that same day to receive the 20% off "new client discount". When I said that pressuring customers into making an immediate financial decision felt predatory, I was told it was simply "an incentive." High-pressure, same-day sales tactics like this are a major red flag. In my opinion, this business relies on creating urgency to push customers into expensive purchases before they've had time to think it over. The final red flag was when I asked for a copy of the pricing sheet I had just been shown. I was told I couldn't have one because the pricing sheet was not allowed to leave the office. The lady I spoke with told me the total price for a package, but said that this price did not take into account the "new client discount", which I would also get. The first appointment was $79 (a way to get you in the door). My appointment was great, but as soon as it ended they showed me the pricing for the packages. RED FLAG: The prices were twice as much as I was quoted on the phone. The 20% off discount for "new clients" was the price I was given on the phone (dishonest representatives). However, what is absolutely GROSS - I was told that in order to get 20% off as a "new client". I would have to decide today before they closed. I told the woman that forcing clients to decide by end of day felt predatory. She said it was "an incentive". The whole interaction honestly felt so gross and wrong. Do not be fooled! This is business is 100% predatory. This mode of sales preys on women's insecurities and uses scare tactic pricing to force quick sales. DISGUSTING and SHAMEFUL. I've always been very active and without complaints. BUT lately I've been feeling older than my age. I found Dr. Syn on a facebook ad. This review is only for T Shape not chiropractic or other services. I was hoping to see much better results from the T Shape given the extremely expensive cost. I did a package of 6 treatments spaced out mostly weekly. Since the cost was so high my expectations were also high. My treatments were for skin tightening - not slimming. The results immediately after each treatment were ok but they didn't last more than a few hours and after completion of 6 treatments I saw only minimal changes. I've waited a couple of months to write this review in the hopes that over time I might see better results but no. The positive is it was easy to schedule appointments and the staff were all very nice and professional. The negative is the T shape itself. Very disappointing and not a good use of $$ in my opinion. I started seeing Dr. Grace summer of 2019. At the time, I had migraines -- plus side effects from the anti-seizure meds I was taking to prevent migraines. I also was being treated for hypothyroid conditions. After 3 months of treatment, I was a 1/2 taller (corrected scoliosis) and off ALL of those meds with NO migraines and "normal" thyroid blood work. Dr Syn helped change my life. In 2018 I was diagnosed with viral meningitis. I was told I had a 50/50 chance of surviving the viral attack to my brain and spinal cord. My immune system, antibodies and prayers were the only thing that could save me. A nurse pumped morphine into my blood stream as I fought for my life. 3 months later I was finally able to open my eyes and walk around. Returning to a normal life was difficult. I had lost a lot of muscle, a lot of my strength. My head was constantly pounding and I yearned for the morphine. I was in and out of urgent care weekly. I felt like my brain was going to burst open in my skull. Finally my Dr. prescribed me Norcos to help with the pain. I decided in 2020 to cleanse my body of medications. I learned to live and manage the pain through prayer, healthy eating and yoga. However, I was ALWAYS in pain. While trying to sleep, a sharp sporadic ringing and pulsing sound echoed loudly in my ears keeping me awake. When I did fall asleep, I couldn't sleep more than 2 hours before waking up from some part of me in discomfort and pain. I was locked up. I couldn't write a straight line, I had developed a shake in my hand and my whole right arm trembled when I tried extending it out. My jaw had tightened up so much I couldn't open my mouth wide enough to eat, or to smile. I spoke so tightly and mostly through my teeth. Luckily everyone started wearing masks so it wasn't something people could notice. TMJ specialist suggested botox treatments and or surgery. I had gone to a chiropractor to get a second opinion. He had worked on me for about 2 months, 1 visit a week. I noticed the pain was more tolerable, but I still felt tight, suffered from daily migraines and struggled with chronic tinnitus. May 2021, I came across Dr. Syn's ad and decided to send an inquiry. They responded quickly and set up my consultation for the following week. In order to properly assess me, x-rays, and spinal scans were done prior to an actual adjustment. Jessica, thoroughly described my graph and chart results from the spinal scans. Literally, my scales were off the charts! I was past the red zone. I could finally see my pain on paper. Next Jen helped guide me through my different physical therapy type exercises. First is the wobble chair. Jen demonstrates how it's used, and she actually shares it's benefits and how it helps the spine. She could explain why and where I felt pain and pressure. October 2021 In retrospect, I didn't realize how unhappy and moody I was. That the pain I felt ruled over my personality, my decision making, my life. In just 6 months I became a different, better version of myself that I didn't think would be possible. My family sees the change while I feel it. I no longer struggle with TMJ pain or tinnitus! I now get a restful, rejuvenating 5-7 hours of sleep. My cognitive function is operating better than it's ever been. I'm migraine free, and have less light sensitivity. I met Dr. Grace through a Social Wellness class at my job about a month ago and my group was offered a spine check up. So why not have I'm back checked out?? I have had back pain for more than a year and a half. I felt awful sitting down, lying on my bed, sitting on the couch, driving. Nothing I did was helping it. The worst part? I bought two brand new beds over the course of 1 year thinking it was my bed and I got a new chair at work. I've been to other chiro's before, but none of them took an x-ray so they couldn't, and I couldn't, tell what my spine really looked like. But after seeing that my scoliosis had gotten worse and SEEING that my vertebrae were subluxated and I was loosing the precious cushion between each vertebrae, PLUS my neck was almost flat as a board (it's supposed to be curved), totally opened my eyes. I immediately signed up for her program. Now, she isn't cheap! But in my mind, what made me do this program was the fact that I shouldn't be in pain. I shouldn't have a spine that looked like a weird "S" shape and I should have cushion between each vertebrae at my young age of 27! Also, I took this as an investment in my health. I started to see Dr. Syn in April of 2023. I didn't have any pain but was feeling stiff. Dr. Syn did a nerve scan and an x-ray. I was surprised to discover that I had scoliosis. Before every purchase I have to #Yelp the establishment. This place had great ratings and reviews so I was excited and bought the voucher since I like massages and needed regular tweaks to my back monthly. Unfortunately when I made it to my appointment right when they opened and on time it clicked that I had forgotten to print my voucher. Since I live in Hollywood and they are located in Redondo I mentioned and thought they would accept the email version since the voucher number is noted there or through the LivingSocial app (also stated on voucher we could pull up this way, save trees, time, or what not..).. But this was not the case. They told me if I wanted to use the voucher and service I needed a hard copy or I forfeit everything. I told them I lived in Hollywood and the owner and receptionist just stared at me like icy, heartless, cold blooded nothingness.. Then they told me if I really want to keep my appointment to drive a couple miles away to Kinkos and get a print out. Which I did. I can't believe I wasted my #Money and #time here. Mediocre, really. I'm sad to leave such a meh review but I'm a bit disappointed. First off, all the other reviews are correct about their appointment "system". No one calls you back when they say they will. You have to schedule your appointment out a month or two in advance. The massage itself was performed by a competent individual..but it just didn't feel like a relaxing massage. Maybe on this point I'm not right, because I get that its a chiropractic facility and not a massage-only place. Also, they were forced to cut my appointment short, I'm sure, by their supervisor. Overall, I left feeling badly for the massage therapist, but not okay about the overall experience. The receptionist on duty was quite helpful, I'll mention. I often have back problems. I have tried all types of remedies to keep the pain from retuning and nothing has seemed to rid it just yet. I was browsing yelp and I came across Syn Chiropractic. The reviews were up and down, so I thought I would go in and check it out for myself. I get there, the receptionist is nice and the check in and everything of that nature goes very smooth. I felt very welcomed and was ready to get to the feeling better part. They called my name, I went to the back and I was introduced to Dr. Grace. Dr. Grace was very nice, but the massage was terrible. The quality of the service was not what I was looking for. Everything was cold, and not ready to touch the body. Her style was extremely unfamiliar to me, and it almost made me uncomfortable. I was diagnosed with Friedreichs Ataxia (FA), a rare brain disease in June of 2015. It is an autosomal recessive inherited disease that causes progressive damage to the nervous system. It manifests in initial symptoms of poor coordination such as gait disturbance; it can also lead to scoliosis, heart disease and diabetes, but does not affect cognitive function. Before I went to Dr. G, I had extreme vertigo for about 95% of my day, I had to lean on someone to walk after a short distance, heavy feeling in my legs, some limb numbness, slurred speech and overall depression. Now, my dizziness is COMPLETELY gone, I am independent and do not need assistance walking, the heavy feeling only comes on when I am doing a strenuous workout, absolutely NO numbness, speech is 96% normal again and I am no longer depressed. I feel better than I have ever have in my life and I can honestly say it is because of her treatment. Although I have a special condition she is helping me with, I know that if she can work with me and almost reverse my symptoms (which is crazy to think about), then she can help anybody. Dr Syn changed my health and my life. I had terrible carpal tunnel and my neck was always stiff. I was at at point where I could barely pick up a coffee pot. After she took a scan of my spine, it showed that it was so off and not straight. She created a plan to get me back to being and feeling healthy. Besides her personal adjustments and doing PT, she also discussed how food and drinking water is a big contributing factor, in getting my health back on track. Absolutely the best Chiropractic Wellness Center in the South Bay!! The staff is so welcoming and friendly. I started care with Dr. Grace in March and I've experienced incredible results. I was having major neck and lower back problems for years. Headaches and female issues I had surgery for last year. As a child I was diagnosed with mild scoliosis which Dr. confirmed had gotten worse. Found out the neck pains was from degenerative arthritis in my neck, female issues from subluxation to the spine and more from trauma to my nerves since a child. All symptoms are gone. The last few years, I would participate in sports and the following week, I was in excruciating pain. I knew I had to go to a chiropractor to get this ailment fixed BUT knowing that chiropractors can also cause setbacks, I reached out to a chiropractic friend in AZ for a referral. Dr. Karen Jacobsen referred me to Dr. Syn and I am SOO GLAD I went to her. Dr. Syn through her methodical processes found that I had major scoliosis (e.g. my spine was curved) and my neck was off by 60 degrees. The neck is supposed to have a 45 degree convex curve and I had a 20 degree concave curve instead which is the worst she has ever seen! Over a period of 6 months, my curve started to return and my spine is almost straight with some areas back to their intended positioning. Additionally, I have gone from a 20 degree concave curve to a 6 degree concave curve and within the next few months, I am sure I will be in the convex curve instead :) Thanks to Dr. Syn's help, I am finding also that I am able to play some sports and some activities which before would knock me flat on my back. Also, I have noticed that my concentration has returned and the "ADHD" is not as severe as it used to be. I would highly recommend getting checked out and worked up by Dr. Syn. Back in January I threw my back out three times in ten days. I would do little movements here and there. When I felt good enough to exercise I started running which caused my knees to hurt a lot. I refer people to Dr. Syn on a daily basis. I have known her for many years. I was referred to her 14 years ago, my friend said she could help with my daughter's ear infections. My daughter was 3 yrs. old and had chronic ear infections for a year. After taking a multitude of different antibiotics the pediatrician wanted to place drainage tubes in her ears.
