My husband & I went to them some years ago. My husband is very hard of hearing. Gigi spoke to him as if he were stupid... he's deaf... not stupid! I think these people are awful and I would NEVER recommend them or what the sell. My opinion is they only really care about your money. This is just my opinion and experience. I few years ago I was researching centers that help with nutrition, vitamin therapy, and specifically was interested in trying the HCG diet, and was lucky enough to find Gigi and Lance. I have had issues with weight management since I turned 30, at which age I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and had to have my thyroid completely removed. Ever since that, managing my weight has been an uphill struggle. I have done a few rounds of HCG along with nutrition counseling and vitamin therapy. I couldn't lose the baby weight. I had tried numerous avenues of weight loss. I bought the Disneyland Annual Passport but I couldn't stay away from the corn dogs long enough to walk what it would take to get in shape. I had a gym membership but the 14 year old boys that watch your kids in the nursery had it looking like Lord of The Flies when I went to drop my daughter off. Last time I checked a run on the treadmill for me, shouldn't be a life lesson in "survival of the fittest" for my 2 year old. That's when the clouds parted in the sky and like a shining beacon of hope and joy, my friend Amy suggested Gigi. I stepped out of line at Cinnabon long enough to take her call, and the rest is history. Its not hard folks. But you have to want it, and I mean really want it. Like kicking a mean crack habit. Or skydiving.Or whatever else you find immensely challenging in life.... I did a ton of research. I threw out the stuff I didn't believe in, like a point system that just makes people feel like miserable failures. No thanks Weight Watchers. Or a packaged food program that is full of salt, gmo's, nitrates, nitrites, and maybe not really food, come to think of it. No thanks Nutrisystem. Liposuction? Tummy Tuck? Ironman Triatholon training? Not going to happen. I made the appointment. Kevin Trudeau is a big HcG advocate so I was immediately skeptical because that guy sells EVERYTHING. But the research I had done really made sense. The way I understand it is, the HcG sort of fools your body into thinking it is a teensy bit pregnant, which tells it to hang on to muscle and lose fat, vs . just regular dieting where you are losing both. In conjunction, you eat a super low calorie, almost no carb diet. I know a lot of people here are saying 500 calories, but I know I didn't do 500. I was more in the 700 range, because I just can't eat or cook certain things without a little extra olive oil. I also kicked in for the B-vitamin shots which boost your energy level to push you through. I was definitely hungry by the time I was ready for my next meal, but isn't that HOW IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE?? Before Gigi, I was eating, hungry or not. So, I would stand up in the am, weigh myself, do the shots, and eat strictly what was allowed in the right portions. It only lasts 25 days so seriously, if you can't do this, you must have zero willpower. Mid-way through I went back to weigh in and get the lipotropic which didn't do much for me. All in all, I lost 15 lbs in 25 days on the diet, and then continued to lose up until about a month or two ago. So, I am down 25 lbs total, and have kept it off for over 6 months. I still don't eat bread, potatoes, or any other JUNK that makes you FAT. (I recommend Wheat Belly or Why We Get Fat if you are interested in researching that stuff further). Gigi teaches you a new way of eating and living life. Sure, I have a piece of wheat toast now and then, or maybe some of my daughters Halloween candy (ok fine, a lot of it...) but I just right myself by going back to the eating habits that were instilled in me during this program and I never go up or fluctuate by much. It's as if my body is where it wants to be. If you think you are going to do this for 25 days and keep it off without figuring out a new way of living, you are setting yourself up for failure. Obviously what you are doing now isn't working for you, so when you are ready, and reallly want the change, this is the place to go. Words cannot describe how thankful I am for Gigi's support. Anyone can follow the HCG protocol, but it takes a good supporter to help you through it. There were so many times when I wanted to give up and succumb to the piece of cake or pastry, but I kept telling myself that I can do it and that it's just (x) amount of days until I see Gigi to tell her about my success. She definitely has your back and is willing to talk to you through your ups and downs. What I love the most about her is that she's so down to earth! From the first day I met her, I felt so comfortable--I was able to share all my weight struggles with her. I didn't get the opportunity to work with Lance, but I am sure he is a nice guy. Casey (the receptionist) was also a sweet heart. They were always accommodating to my schedule and I was willing to take the hour trip during rush hour to see them. Now, let's talk about the diet. Before starting the diet, I researched EVERYTHING about it. I have done HCG with so many companies that state they have HCG in their product... Trust me, I tried it all... From Ultra HCG, Easy HCG, to Nu Image Medical... They're all a joke. Especially the latter one, but I won't go into details about how disappointing all of them were. They say that if you do not have as much fat deposits, you won't lose as much fat on the diet. I started off at 134 and after 22 days, I am down to 110! While people usually lose a pound to less than a pound a day, my average was about a 1.1 loss every day. Getting my old body back is the best feeling in the world. If you live in the Los Angeles area and is interested in HCG -- just go to A New Me. Don't waste your time looking for the best HCG for its price... Where to even begin... I have been seeing Lance for some time now and every single time I go in to speak with him I always leave with a sense of refreshment and just a good ora! I had a 2 month weight loss contest that just ended Friday.April 1st, 2016. Start Feb 1st weigh 244 lbs.. I got down to 231 lbs by first week of March without HCG but I began to plateau so I contacted Lance so I could get on the HCG protocol for the next 25 days... This is the greatest diet i have ever been on. it is true that this is a way of life, the beginning is the easy part, sticking with it is more difficult. But if you are like me and have tried other programs with no success or limited success, this is the way to go. The quick results give you the motivation to keep going. If this does not work then you only have youself to blame. The program was easy to follow. i lost 30 lbs after only 2 sessions. The key is to follow the maintenance program at the end. My friend was the first to do this diet and after seeing her huge transformation I thought I would give it a try. This HCG diet works. Lance and Gigi are very informative, supportive, and motivating. The program is very straight forward. If you follow the plan you will lose the weight. If you cheat, skip meals, or eat what is not allowed, you will not be as successful. Lose up to a pound a day! sounds too good to be true? Well it is. I did lose 8 pounds my first two weeks. But couldn't continue on. I was starving and had dizzy spells. I think the only reason I got through the 1st week was that they have you gorge the first 2 days. You have to keep up a 500 calorie diet. My intellectual sense told be this was not at all healthy but was desperate to shed extra pounds. Yes its true, its only 25 days and it sounded easy enough, but not for a person who needs the energy to work full-time and then comes home to their children. I regained 4 of those pounds back within two weeks. I honestly believe I lost it because of the low calories. Oh and for the moral support- i overheard another client with Lance and she was extremely frustrated because she hit a plateau in her weight loss. He gave her no words of advice to help work through it. Gigi did give me information to download on the web that was extremely helpful-though contradictory to the information in the packet for diet guidelines that she provided me with which really confused me. As for me, this is another failed diet. But one good thing that came out of this is that I truly realized that nothing can compare to good old diet and excercise. read more

I wanted to try the HCG protocol and went into with more of "I need to kickstart my diet" mindset than hoping for a slam dunk. Its day 27 and I have lost 15 pounds (!). This is more than the kickstart I hoped for.
