The whole space is lovely, and is somehow exciting and calming at the same time - very much in keeping with Mitzy's own way of being. All of the maestras are warm, caring, and communicative, and have supported my child through many things, including potty training and the death of a pet. They are also great at supporting social and emotional learning. The kids have lots of time for unstructured play but also plenty to do each day - all kinds of activities including arts and crafts, sensory play, gardening, special birthday celebrations and holiday-related activities. At the end of the day, the kids are thrilled to see their parents, but none of them seem to want to go home, and I always want to linger in the backyard for a while, too. Highly recommend this program.

Until then, he had only ever been cared for by his dad, grandmother, and me - no babysitters or nannies - so being away from us was a big adjustment. From the very beginning, the team at SquareCare was incredibly understanding and supportive. Mitzy created a thoughtful transition plan that truly set my son up for success. At first, I was able to stay with him at school so he could get comfortable with the new environment and teachers. Then, we gradually increased the time he spent there alone. Finally, once we all felt confident that he was happy and secure, he began napping at school as well. Now, my son loves school and attends full days three times a week. Mitzy, Yessi, and Tiara are so patient and genuinely invested in his success. We're all so proud of his progress and growth. I highly recommend this program! The teachers are not only caring and wonderful with the children, but the environment is exceptionally clean and inviting. Plus, there's a bunny and chickens--such a fun and unique touch that the kids absolutely love!

When we had our newborn, we immediately called Robin at A Nanny Connection. Robin thoroughly explained the entire process and clearly outlined all placement fees and expectations upfront. Communication was easy, responsive, and professional, and she always took the time to answer our questions. Each candidate fit the exact description of what we were looking for - she really listened to our family's needs. The only difficult part was choosing who to hire because every candidate presented was high caliber and impressive. We highly recommend A Nanny Connection.

We had a very disappointing experience with this nanny agency. The business practices felt…read moreextremely unprofessional from the start -- we were never asked to sign a clear agreement outlining fees, guarantees, or policies before the search began. Terms discussed verbally (including a 6-month guarantee and a placement fee equivalent to 6 weeks of the nanny's pay) did not match the contract posted online, which stated no guarantees/refunds and a different fee structure for part-time placements. Communication was rushed and disorganized, consisting mostly of hastily written emails with little clarity around timelines, process, or next steps. Candidate quality was also highly questionable and often far outside the criteria we provided. One candidate was a no-show to the interview and had full voicemail/email inboxes with extremely poor communication. Another lived 1.5 hours away each direction in traffic, making the role unrealistic. Another openly described wanting "something easy" after being out of work and had no meaningful nanny experience. Out of four candidates, only one was a strong fit. When I raised concerns about inconsistencies between the verbal terms and the online contract, instead of discussing it professionally over the phone as requested, the agency responded with multiple hostile emails accusing me of trying to take advantage of them. I also noticed that many of the agency's positive reviews appear to be written by nannies rather than families who actually paid for placement services, which in hindsight feels somewhat misleading. Ultimately, we found an excellent nanny ourselves through Facebook groups. For the $6k+ fee, the experience was simply not worth the stress and lack of professionalism.

When I called, I was just trying to explain what I need--- and then the person hung up on me. I then called again and the person with the name of Jennifer - said she was not the one who initially answered my call. I called the reception area. I asked for info on licensing and this Jennifer proceeded to say rudely - "Are interrupting me because I won't be able to help you." This is after I told her someone just hanged up on me. My observation is that they do not like to answer phones. It is absolutely baffling how these people are getting state funding and partnership but has lack of professionalism. Also, this Jennifer connected me to a phone extension of someone who was out on vacation since March. The voice mail said the person is returning on April 3 but it is almost May. I don't know if this Jennifer is trying to make a joke. Since I am not exactly sure if the person is still working there. I called again and then I was yet connected to another voice mail. I will call again.

Amy and Marie take the time to ensure real alignment, and they never submit a candidate unless there's genuine compatibility. They represent one of the strongest portfolios of nannies in the Bay Area, and their work is driven by both passion and compassion--something rare even compared to top corporate recruiters. I'm now working with two wonderful families through Genuine Nannies and feel honored to be part of the homes they carefully matched me with. Highly recommend for Nannies and for Families.

We would give Lacy six stars if we could, I cannot say enough good things about her. We were able…read moreto work with her three nights per week for a little over a month with our four month old. She was the second night nurse we used and by far the best. It goes without saying that the sleep we got when she was with us was invaluable, but Lacy was also extremely knowledgeable and helpful in advising us on sleep training techniques, what to expect and how to go about it once we were ready. She was always on time and gave us a thorough report the next day of how our guy did through the night and recommended changes to help with things. Lacy was also very reassuring and comforting with my wife during the beginning of sleep training, which was a very stressful time for us. We will absolutely be using her again (if she's available), thanks again Lacy!

Hiring Lacy was probably the best decision my husband and I made when planning our fourth…read moretrimester! As first time parents, it's scary coming home and taking care of a crying baby throughout the night. It was amazing having Lacy there with us twice a week for the first six weeks. Yes, the nights she came enabled us to get solid chunks of sleep to get us through the next few days -- but beyond that, she helped us establish a night time routine that we continue to use months later. She also answered questions and helped us tackle new baby issues -- such as when my baby refused to have full feeds, but would prefer to snack throughout the day. Plus it was awesome to have Lacy kindly correct us when we just didn't know certain things such as why our child refused a bottle (it was because it was in the fridge and the milk was too cold) or simply that our house was too cold and we needed to dress him in an extra layer. To be honest, a night nanny originally felt too expensive - but I would do it again in an instant. I feel like Lacy helped get my husband and me off to a healthy routine and helped set up our child to sleep consistently throughout the night (with just a few quick night feeds) during his first few months. I feel like everything she taught us has helped us get more sleep than any other new parent I know. I would 100% rehire her again if we decide to have another baby or if our child needs some sleep training when he's older.
