From the first phone call, they were professional, kind, and really listened to what we were looking for. Within a few days, they introduced us to Maya, and we instantly felt at ease. Maya has a gentle way with our 8-month-old and has been such a blessing. She brings homemade khichdi and sings traditional lullabies -- it's so comforting to know our daughter is learning about our culture from such a young age. She's also super organized and keeps a log of naps, feeds, and milestones, which we love. If you're a family looking for a trustworthy and culturally aligned nanny, I can't recommend Indian Nanny enough.

Either the candidates weren't experienced, didn't show up for interviews, or just weren't the right fit for our family. Working with Veena changed everything. She really took the time to understand what we needed--not just someone with experience, but someone warm, reliable, and familiar with Indian culture and food. Within days, she sent us a few great candidates, and one of them turned out to be the perfect match. Our new nanny has been with us for a few months now, and she's amazing with our kids--calm, loving, and very dependable. Veena made the whole process feel easy and professional. If you're feeling overwhelmed or tired of searching on your own, I highly recommend reaching out to her. She truly knows what she's doing, and you can tell she cares.

She took full responsibility for our newborn overnight so we could rest, and she also cooked three meals a day for our family. Everything was delicious, varied, took our input into account. Beyond her work ethic, she is warm, kind, and wonderful with children. She was gentle and loving with our newborn and built a sweet bond with our 5-year-old. She was also flexible, easy to work with, and quickly felt like part of our family. We highly recommend her to any chinese-speaking family looking for a postpartum nanny.

Her experience, attentiveness, and proactiveness in taking care of not only everything for the baby but also our home made such a big difference during this crazy time for us. Zhang A Yi is incredibly knowledgeable about newborn care and immediately stepped in to help the moment she arrived, handling everything from feeding and bathing, to soothing him and putting him to bed. Given we're first time parents, she was also very helpful in decoding our son's crying/fussiness for us and provided great tips for taking care of him. In those first few weeks when we were still adjusting, she would oftentimes even cut her afternoon break short to help out, despite us insisting that she rest. It was honestly surprising to us just how quickly we became comfortable with Zhang A Yi and entrusted her with our son's care. She really treated our baby as if he were her own and it was very reassuring to see just how much she genuinely cared about him (and how much he enjoyed being with her as well). There was no shortage of smiles and cooing when Zhang A Yi was practicing tummy time with him or entertaining him with all his toys. In addition to Zhang A Yi being very attentive to our baby, she was also incredibly observant when it came to the day-to-day. She'd proactively clean any dishes that we left out, and on the occasions that we'd take our baby out with us to meet up with friends, we'd come back to a very clean and organized home (even though Zhang A Yi was not at all required to help with this). And as the cherry on top to all this - she's also a fantastic cook. You'd think that over the course of 3 months we'd have gotten through her entire repertoire of dishes, but she continued to surprise us with something new. Mealtime was definitely something we looked forward to every day. We've really enjoyed having Zhang A Yi as part of the family and would highly recommend her to anyone who's looking for a dedicated and warm-hearted nanny to help with taking care of their newborn.

Now as a toddler, she loves to tell us about her friends and teachers there. Jasmine and the team are very warm, experienced and communicative, and all the kids look delighted to see them each day at dropoff. They plan an amazing range of activities, usually with a fun "theme" of the week, and we've noticed at home that she picks up practical skills like tidying and putting on clothes. We also appreciate that they have a large outdoor space, and provide meals for the kids. We are very grateful and would highly recommend!

It was, without a doubt, one of the best decisions we made for her early development and happiness. From day one, we had complete confidence in Jasmine and her dedicated team. They made a thoughtful effort to ensure our daughter felt welcome during her transition into daycare--bringing her favorite toys (baby dolls) to her at drop-off to help soothe her. By the third day, she was no longer crying at drop-off and quickly began looking forward to going to school. She regularly talks about her amazing teachers--Chloe, Toni, and Ruby--and all the friends she made in her classroom. One standout example of Apple Tree's incredible attention to detail: during her very first week, they surprised us by celebrating her 2nd birthday with a cake and singing, even though she was brand new. She was absolutely beaming in the photos they shared with us. The classroom activities were varied, thoughtful and based on monthly themes. We loved receiving weekly photo updates that showed all the fun and educational things she was doing. It was clear she was thriving in this environment. A unique and helpful perk of Apple Tree is the monthly Parent's Day--offering full-day weekend drop-in care. This gave us valuable time to recharge, knowing she was in a safe and familiar space where she was happy and well-cared for. We also really appreciated the flexibility Apple Tree provided with our variable weekly schedule, allowing for earlier drop-offs when needed. Since starting at Apple Tree, our daughter's confidence and independence have blossomed. The school gently encouraged her to do things on her own--like putting on her jacket and shoes--which built her self-esteem. We started potty training over spring break, and thanks to the attentive support from her teachers, she was fully potty trained within a month. There are so many more positive things we could say about Apple Tree. We are deeply grateful for the nurturing and joyful community they created, and we feel so lucky our daughter was a part of it, even for a short time. If you're considering enrolling your child here and have any hesitations, let this review be the encouragement you need--Apple Tree is truly a gem.

What's also really important is that when the year is up and it's time to find a new au pair, Jodi also always connects us with good au pairs -- her suggestions have been our most successful matches (vs when we've just chosen off of profiles and interviews). When we had our newborn, we immediately called Robin at A Nanny Connection. Robin thoroughly explained the entire process and clearly outlined all placement fees and expectations upfront. Communication was easy, responsive, and professional, and she always took the time to answer our questions. Each candidate fit the exact description of what we were looking for - she really listened to our family's needs. The only difficult part was choosing who to hire because every candidate presented was high caliber and impressive. We highly recommend A Nanny Connection.

We had a very disappointing experience with this nanny agency. The business practices felt…read moreextremely unprofessional from the start -- we were never asked to sign a clear agreement outlining fees, guarantees, or policies before the search began. Terms discussed verbally (including a 6-month guarantee and a placement fee equivalent to 6 weeks of the nanny's pay) did not match the contract posted online, which stated no guarantees/refunds and a different fee structure for part-time placements. Communication was rushed and disorganized, consisting mostly of hastily written emails with little clarity around timelines, process, or next steps. Candidate quality was also highly questionable and often far outside the criteria we provided. One candidate was a no-show to the interview and had full voicemail/email inboxes with extremely poor communication. Another lived 1.5 hours away each direction in traffic, making the role unrealistic. Another openly described wanting "something easy" after being out of work and had no meaningful nanny experience. Out of four candidates, only one was a strong fit. When I raised concerns about inconsistencies between the verbal terms and the online contract, instead of discussing it professionally over the phone as requested, the agency responded with multiple hostile emails accusing me of trying to take advantage of them. I also noticed that many of the agency's positive reviews appear to be written by nannies rather than families who actually paid for placement services, which in hindsight feels somewhat misleading. Ultimately, we found an excellent nanny ourselves through Facebook groups. For the $6k+ fee, the experience was simply not worth the stress and lack of professionalism.
